When notifying the front desk, they took my name and phone number and said they would reach out. No one contacted me. On Monday, 11/24, I found out the front desk staff had misplaced my information over the weekend. They asked for it again and I provided my email, specifying that I'd prefer to be contacted via email instead of phone. I specifically told them that I would be at work all day and would not be able to answer a phone call. I watched the front desk agent circle my email and write "best contact" with my own eyes. Later that Monday, I received a call from another representative, who had to leave a voicemail because I was busy at work. Their voicemail essentially told me to check lost and found. No mention of my jacket being stolen or a crime having been committed. Given the lax response from the gym, I decided to file a police report. I completed the process online and was notified shortly after that the case had been accepted. I was given a case number. On Tuesday, I once again notified the front desk staff that I would prefer to be contacted by email. I specified that someone did call, but that I was unable to answer because I'm working. I also notified them that I filed a police report, and emphasized that any correspondence between us would now need to be written. I also reiterated that I know a crime occurred because it was a small window of time (6am-7am) and that my jacket had a broken zipper on one pocket, meaning whoever took it knows it does not belong to them. I am irked by the way the gym responded to this. I am also disappointed in their poor performance when first reporting this crime. This gym charges $115 monthly with a $175 annual fee. You're better off going elsewhere for far less money. I have been going to much better gyms since I was in high school and I've never had something stolen from me. I added a picture of a row of broken ellipticals. This is typical for this gym despite the amount of money it charges its members. There are also broken pieces of exposed, sharp wood in the men's sauna that ownership refuses to properly repair. Buyer beware.

It has three tennis courts for some indoor tennis fun and two racquetball courts that one can get their competitive cardio going. The price points are definitely much higher than you find downtown in Portland but I think that is what makes this place great ... if you are paying a little more, then you dont have to neccesarily battle the sardine cans at some of the other gyms or sift through the meat heads that are lifting and taking up all the free weights. The locker room is immaculate and clean with multiple shower options to use before you scoot to work in the morning. I tried their crossfit classes, and it's NOT what the sport is about, which is why so many people get hurt there (including one of the owners) In case all of this wasn't enough-I was followed home by a member and assaulted. They said 'ok, thanks for letting us know'. 5 mins later the police call me to inform me that the gym isn't liable for what happened. WTF?!?! They were more worried about covering their butts than their members' safety! If you're looking for a local gym I would suggest Fitness Authority in Littleton (also has 24 hour access) or Always Fit Athletic Club in Woodsville, which has more equipment and space than this one.
