Do not get me wrong, the vibe is super old school and we love that. Has rustic vibes. That's good stuff. But when you have a town with a population of maybe 16K, with nothing to do on a Friday night, you'll get allot of younger people here that are not the nicest. Lot of foul language, loudness. Would have had more fun in an actual bar. If you got social anxiety like we do, avoid this place. Also, if you aren't part of the age group, you'll likely get called unc. So yeah. read more

I have eaten at the bowling alley my whole life and it has always been the best, the last time I went was a terrible experience and I swore I would never go back, but I decided to give it another shot to see if it had improved, but it hasn't. Terrible food and the workers are all so strange. The women behind the counter cooking the food are so rude and don't even try to be friendly. I regret going back. What a waste of money. read more

The orange and green motif coupled with the wood paneling takes me back to my childhood and gives me a feeling of comfort and nostalgia. The food is great too! We decided to stop in here last minute for a couple games, drinks and food. We were not disappointed! This is the kind of local spot you'd see in a movie! I am only here from TFIL's video when they broke in. It looks like a good place but next time check the bathroom stalls before leaving.

This place is trash, peyton sucks but he's related too the owner so he can't get fired. He has made several insensitive comments about customers too the other customers. The lanes are not taken care of and they machinery breaks everyday and they don't care. I was bowling and threw my own ball and the machine broke and my ball got stuck. I had to wait for 30 minutes before Payton finally noticed I was at the desk. When I explained what happened he said he didn't care and went back outside. I've seen the workers pick their nose and pull a wedge and smoke weed outside before getting back on the grill and cooking the food without washing their hands. I refuse too every come back too this place. Take your business somewhere else. read more

Growing up in Park City, I came here all the time with family and friends, and we still make sure to stop in when I visit. This is a classic bowling alley-no disco bowling, no big arcades, just straight forward lanes, classic bowling shoes, and a great little grill. The place has been run by the same people for 20+ years, and they're still there working the front counter or cooking up burgers on a busy Friday night-they really care about the place and the customers. The food, which is well priced, is killer. A grilled cheese and fries from this place is absolute heaven. Beers are only $2-2.50, so you can enjoy a cold one while you throw rocks for a great price too. Holiday Lanes is what a bowling alley should be-not something like Jupiter Lanes which cares more about being a trendy bar. The Dude would be proud. read more

The Bowling Alley, Holiday Lanes, our long time favorite for a burger in Heber no longer makes the grade. Installing a computerized ordering system made ordering an ordeal. They must have changed meat suppliers because the once unrivaled burger is no more. We both agreed that for a bowling Alley burger, the current offering didn't taste right. read more

Built in 1962, Holiday Lanes is a wonderful retro bowling alley located along the main drag in Heber City. I'd always wanted to check it out and we finally had a chance a few weekends ago. Stepping inside the door it's like your instantly transported to the 1960s. The seating areas, computer terminals, signage, and just about every thing else, are straight out of the 60s. They replaced the lanes a few years back, but everything else is just about original. We bowled a few games and had a great time. When we visit next I'll have to remember my own ball and shoes. We'll also have to try the burgers, I've heard they are great here. read more

This is one of the old 50's style bowling alleys. Not to many left in the entire country like this. The food is great. The burgers are some of the most popular burgers in the state. Holiday Lanes is a good value and provides solid family fun. Unfortunately, I'm not really into family fun. The food here is pretty tasty, specifically the grilled cheese and the milkshake. The ventilation isn't very good though, so you'll smell like grease and burgers when you leave. The lanes are nice, but the shoes and balls have seen better days. The balls in particular are really beaten up. The service is friendly, and we were happy that they accepted walk-ins. This place is overrun with children. Lots and lots of children. I felt bad for drinking a Bud Light. I felt worse when the kid next to me knocked it over. I know that families like to bowl, but there was seriously a 1 adult to 4 kids ratio when I went. This is your typical (in a very good sense) bowling alley with the noise (again a good thing..adds to the ambience) and the hamburger and fries and shakes they serve. Very old fashion and I hope they don't change anything (except maybe give the girls behind the food counter some lessons on smiling more at the customers and being a little more friendly. come on, this place is great and fun and you girls should be part of that fun!) The owners are so great and FRIENDLY and so accomodating to the customers as well as being open to businesses and charities who want to hold fundraisers (I went to the Friends of Animals Benefit held here las year and it was great!) at the alley. Bierthday parties seem to happening all the time here too. Why not? Good burgers, bring your own cake and decorations, bowl and just have a good time. Not one of the largest alleys around, but even with the limited amount of lanes you are sure to not wait long (I have never waited for a lane). The dread-head doesn't present with much professionalism. He had a problem with my bowling party tonight and decided to complain to other customers in front of me as I was checking out. Later telling me I should hire a babysitter for " a date night" because I have too many children when we are multiple families patronizing the establishment and spending a fair amount of money. He convinced the kitchen staff that we were problematic as I closed out my additional food and beverage bill. This has been our weekly ritual for some time. Are my kids pumped to be bowling and socializing? Yes! Was there a large party who was enjoying themselves in the lane next door? Yes. Was American bowling novel to them? Yes,likely. This is just as others describe it. An aging alley with 12 lanes, but the actual lanes look new. It's run by an older couple that seem to love what they do (yes I met them). It is very overrun by kids. There were several birthday parties going when we got there. I was there with my kids so I didn't mind. I would have given this 5 stars. It was $2 for shoe rental and $4 a game. The older couple was friendly and gracious. The girls at the food area were very friendly and made us a killer hand packed ice cream banana shake. However, there were holes in the walls in the bathrooms with toilet paper shoved in them. The bathrooms could use a quick face life. The guys at the counter where you get shoes and pay seemed like they didn't want to be there. It might be that they were pretty busy. But I did notice that when compared to the rest if the friendly staff. We are from out of town, but I'd return for a couple of games and a delicious shake. read more
