The Bountiful Food Pantry serves as a backup resource for individuals and families in need of food assistance. They have a nicely stocked warehouse and a store entrance for clients to get an allotment of food sustenance. It is staffed with friendly volunteers. I drop off an over abundance of my garden vegetables; today, a couple of big bags of peaches and some tomatillos. They also accept canned food donations. It's great to have this resource for those who might be in temporary need of food and also as a place to donate excess produce from the garden. read more

I just got back from my third attempt to get food. I turned in all the required documents and information last month and this month we are shunned. I legit not employed, receive unemployment, or any income. 4 kids not even teens age. Why do you tell me you lost our information every time. We are legit starving. How much energy and time do they assume I have? Their attitude is nice. If I was prepared with documents every time, why would I really need help? Our basement floods, and yes you can die while everyone stands watching. You know what, keep your food. I have kids to explain this to. Instead, I need your prayers. Please pray for my family. I didn't see any reviews for this particular good organization for our community, so I decided to offer my two cents. I must acknowledge that I am a volunteer at this pantry, so I could be biased but since I also receive it's help, I feel I am still entitled to post a recommendation. Great place, especially in these economic times, for people who are in need, are low income, families or single adults, everyone can apply. They offer their services to all those who are eligible within South Davis County. This includes the cities of Bountiful, Centerville, Farmington, North Salt Lake, Woods Cross, and West Bountiful. New Hours: Monday-Friday 11am-1pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6pm-8pm Saturday 10am-Noon They also have Spanish speaking bilinguals on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The staff have always been helpful and if you are a frequent client, they do post job opportunities on a bulletin board by their front counter. read more
