I did the tasting menu and everything was a little bit Disappointing - the flavors were a little "thin" with too much salt, I got dessert to go and came home to warm it up according to instructions. I genuinely loved Bouquet! The space is very cozy and ideal for a date night. It isn't very big, so get in your reservations before coming in. As we entered on a Saturday night, the place was almost full. We were promptly greeted and taken to our table. We were starving so ordered a bunch of stuff. We got the Lobster dip with crostini and deviled eggs for appetizers. And I was impressed. The Lobster dip is one of the best I've had in Cincy. The Deviled eggs were creamy and delish as well. If you want to get one, I'd pick the lobster dip. For main course, I got the off the hook fish. They had the salmon that day. My friend got the Eggleston chicken. Both were phenomenal. The balance of flavors and uniqueness of the dish blew my mind! The entrees had disparate things that just worked together. For desserts, we got the Derby pie and chocolate torte. The Derby Pie is a pecan and chocolate chip pie. It was incredibly good. The crust was tender and flaky, and the filling was amazing. The chocolate torte was hard to cut but the taste was bang on! Loved this place right off I75 and a great farm to table restaurant. After traveling & eating fast foods along our route, I discovered this healthier option & it did not disappoint. I had the spring salad (delish) that had goat cheese & a delightful vinaigrette. I also had the Salmon with kimchi & sweet potato rouille & pickled cucumber. It was perfect & healthy. We did not have a reservation but the staff was very friendly. We would have loved to try the bourbon & deserts but alas we had to return to the road. We didn't have a full meal here, but we joined some friends and shared. That being said, everything was awesome. Almost all the dishes we tried had really intense flavor diversity that made the items unique and delicious. We loved the roasted carrot grain bowl. The fry's were good but not ok the same level as the other items. The service was incredible. My fiancé and I split an appetizer + a main course and they brought it out separated and spared no expense in making sure we had a great experience. I also really enjoyed that they had a CBD hard seltzer water on the drinks menu as I'm reducing my alcohol intake, so it was a great option to get a nice feeling but not have to drink alcohol. My only qualm is that the interior is a little underwhelming and outdated. I wish they would make it feel a little more high-end and curated but it's not a major issue just a personal preference. Bouquet is set in the most quaint but hopping area of Covington. The restaurant is Old World style in a brownstone, very cozy and comfortable vibe. We ordered a cheese plate, mushrooms, and burger "tapas style" between my date and I and some cocktails. Cocktails were solid, my date enjoyed the smoked old fashioned with sorghum on the rim for a slight twist. Food was excellent, with the pimento topped burger being the star. Counter to other reviews, the burger was NOT half priced on Tuesday (we didn't mind, would still pay full price). The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star review is that there was no pace to the dishes. All dishes hit our 1 top table at the same time, making it difficult to fully enjoy each course. I brought my out-of-town family here for dinner last weekend. I selected this restaurant because my mom who was visiting has very specific dietary requirements. Bouquet had a very well labeled menu that is vegetarian and vegan friendly, so I knew we could find something. The location was easy to find, but is on the smaller side. For example- the restroom is a single person restroom located in the main dining room, so expect to make awkward eye contact as you exit the bathroom. We had a wonderful server who explained the restaurant vision and menu to us. We started with a charcuterie board which was delicious! I appreciated the server guiding us about which components were vegetarian or vegan friendly. My mom and I ordered the braised carrots, which was out of this world! Think carrots, squash, tofu, and grains over a delicious purée. Our other guests ordered the Denver hanger steak and did not leave a single bite behind! The pork toast was good, but sooo small and expensive I ordered the flat bread but received the crab dip instead. The dip was really good, probably the highlight. Best restaurant I e been to in KY. I was in a small group and we ordered almost everything on the menu and shared. We started with the Motherboard, great cheese and meat spread. Not sure why but the cheeses were awesome, blue cheese was the best I've had. I'm not big on glowing reviews, but damn it was good. Next was the scallops and pasta, I couldn't figure out exactly what the flavor was beyond the lemon and scallops but it was delicious. My next favorite was the steak, nothing fancy, really well cooked. Meat was tender and flavorful, what else do you need. They have a veggie dish with cooked carrots, not sure when carrots became a star but they were. Well cooked and seasoned. Dessert was very rich but paired with a homemade vanilla ice cream. The favorite was the bread pudding with ice cream. My only knock was the lamb meatballs, I usually only eat lamb in a gyros because I've had bad experiences. The only negative is the size and you are so close to other patrons that it makes it very difficult to engage in your own conversation. Went after seeing it listed as a top 100 restaurant in the USA. Made a reservation , showed up on time and they made me and family wait for 20 mins. While they freed up tables. We were then seated and noted 3 free tables. Strange. Anyway on to the food. Nothing we ordered was even remotely memorable. My pork chop was fatty and not even among the best 20 pork chops I've ever tasted. Rest of family was unimpressed. I would give it 3 stars at average pricing, but given the exclusive restaurant pricing, this quality of meal was simply not acceptable hence the 2 stars. I wont be coming back and also wont trust these "top 100" restaurant lists ever again. I can think of 10 or so restaurants in the area that are MUCH better than this just in OTR region. This place was amazing!! It's been a while since I've been to a restaurant that ALL the courses are good and well thought out. The head chef who is also the owner was on the line this night and the food was the bomb diggity! The service was amazing as well. Our waiter was super nice and accommodating. We started our meal by ordering The Motherboard. It's the mother of all cheese boards! Amazing! It consisted of their cured meats, five cheeses, multitude of accompaniments. It doesn't sound like much but go look at the pictures. This board was so good. Everything played together nicely and there was tons to choose from. It is very filling as well. I also ordered a side of the Brussels Sprouts that came out with the cheese board. The sprouts were amazing! It came with country ham and bleu cheese. These were probably some of the best brussels I've had in a long time. They were cooked perfect. They weren't burned when roasted or pan tossed. The flavor was amazing as well. I love brussels and ham or bacon so this was a plus. I was skeptical of the bleu cheese but it actually worked together. They were cooked with lots of butter (the waiter told me this) YUMM!! I ordered the Joyce Farm Chicken and my husband ordered the Maple Leaf Farm Duck. Both dishes were delicious!! My chicken dish was simple but so flavorful!! It's been a while since I ordered just a simple chicken dish and it's been so tasty. I added a small order of roasted potatoes and these were also phenomenal. I don't know what the chef did but they were so good. This yummy dish consisted of carrots, plums, kohlrabi, garlic scape goat cheese, and lavender honey. Everything went together well and the chicken was cooked perfect. So good! My husband's duck was delicious as well, seasoned and cooked well. I don't eat duck so I didn't taste it but my husband said it was a winner. The plating was pretty though. Last, we ordered dessert. I wanted the Plum Cake. It was different but delicious. This place is not to be missed! Went here for a date night. Husband got the smoked old fashioned, which was so good that he ordered a second (the sorghum is so perfect on the glass!), while I started with the blackberry Paloma-- not overly sweet with a great tequila flavor. We really enjoyed the cheese plate, and felt the relishes and jam really brought a lot to the plate (the cheese was fantastic as well, particularly the Kentucky cheddar). Entrees: they made me a tofu dish with soy brussels sprouts. Vegetarians or tofu lovers-- this was one of the best veg entrees I think I have ever had. Husband got the duck, which he said Was the perfect combination of crispy skin, saltiness and the juiciest perfectly cooked meat. He usually won't eat beans but called them "amazing" because the flavor was so good (sweet-spicy with bacon). We got the creen brûlée for dessert, who h was also 5 stars for flavor, although the little berries do have a tendency to get stuck in your teeth. We just had the most amazing dinner experience at Bouquet. My wife and I went for date night and each ordered the tasting menu. The atmosphere was very inviting and even though it was busy (Covid busy) it was quiet, comfortable and very spread out. I felt very safely distanced. I also noticed the bourbon menu was quite impressive, and took advantage of that. We are vegan so I was the usual amount of concerned, but let me assure you - the food was amazing! Everything we ate was vegan and they made accommodations for their dishes to be so (I only stress 'vegan' for some of these dishes below to reiterate the usually non-vegan dishes were in fact vegan). For first course my wife had the Apple salad and I had the roasted broccoli in a lemon sauce which were superb. For the second course my wife had the shishito peppers and I had the roasted carrots/aioli (vegan), which were both amazing. For third course we each chose the "chef's special" where they make something up (and you can request some preference of what you might want, we both chose tofu as protein) - my wife decided something not spicy, and of course I went with the fire :) Mother. Of. God. They were so good. Mine had roasted beets, jalapeños, crunchy roasted nuts and many other things with a sriracha-esque sauce (so good), and my wife had crispy tofu with roasted vegetables, rice, and a savory sauce that was also fantastic. We had the chocolate cake (vegan) and cranberry/ginger sorbet for dessert which complemented each other so well because they cut through each other. I'm still amazed at how complex and complementary all the flavors were throughout our meal. I love how they are farm to table and source everything within 50 miles. The chef(s) here are doing some great work and although I'm not too picky, my overall summary of my experience: FLOORED (!) Such good flavors I can't wait to go back. Our server Mary was fantastic! My only regret is that we didn't go there sooner. I posted a pic of my third course (the spicy one). If you're at all on the fence about this place, don't be - go there as soon as possible. But don't take my spot. Lastly, they actually sell bottles of bourbon there so if you see something you like, you can go home with it. I grabbed a bottle of Barrell Bourbon (batch 26) and the price was great! Hands down, this is one of the best meals I've ever had to good fortune to enjoy. All my kids were in town to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday and we wanted a special dinner out to commemorate our first time together in many months. Bouquet did not disappoint on any level. Impeccable service, tempting drink choices and a charcuterie motherboard for the ages full of amazing cheese, meats and many delicious pickled items got the evening off to a fantastic start. My husband and I had the filet paired with baby bok choy, radishes, lion's mane mushrooms (exquisite), pickled red onion, turnips and horseradish cream sauce. It was out of this world good. Two of my daughters had the duck, which came with mushrooms, asparagus, daikon radish, a really superb smoked pomegranate bbq sauce and turnip green pesto. Raves from both. My third daughter had the pasta and scallops, which we also ordered as a side together with the most gorgeous, crispy potato quarters. I can echo her feelings about how great the pasta dish was. I had the chicken and dumplings next and the wife had wagyu meat balls. Both amazing! Next I had duck with greens and hash, the wife had the burger with potato wedges... duck was cooked perfect, I don't like greens but I cleaned my plate! To finish I had the banana pie and the wife had the peanut butter bar... again both plates were cleaned. Also the wife had the wine pairing and I did a bourbon flight. Such an amazing restaurant. I came to visit my mom and this was the place that she was looking forward to going to. When you first walk in, there is a bar and some seating in what looks like a pretty small area. When we checked in to our reservation we were led upstairs, which I had not even seen until the hostess took us. The second floor was mainly all seating for meals with another bar. I ordered the "Penelope's boulevardier" off the cocktail menu which was made with penelope bourbon, campari, aperol, sweet vermouth, and orange. It was a very strong and bitter. Honestly, I was thinking that it was going to be sweet and it was not sweet at all. My mom enjoyed it though, so I gave the rest to her after drinking about half of it. We also ordered the the olive board and charcuterie boards, which were good. I honestly thought the charcuterie board was going to have more on it since we were told that it would be good to share with 4 people, but oh well. For my main dish I ordered the Ohio valley burger, which is normally topped with pimento cheese, sauerkraut, melted onions on a brioche bun with a side of potatoes. I ordered it without the sauerkraut though. I thought the burger and the fries was delicious. It was anything super special or novel, but it did the job. I was overall a little disappointed with the menu options if I'm being honest. It just felt like there weren't very many option, but glad I was satisfied with my burger. We also ordered the kentucky butter cake for dessert. It was so rich, but I kept wanting to eat more! I would definitely recommend that for dessert. read more

Love coming to Ohio/KY bc the restaurants are great to explore. Tonight we went to Bouquet by chance. Had the uber drop us off on this street which is quaint and eclectic. We started with the charcuterie with a salami and speck, some interesting mustards, apple butter and 4 amazing cheeses. All served with toasted bread crackers. Delicious. I had the wagyu beef burger with pinto cheese. The cheese was really heavy and gooey so I scraped it off. The burger was very good. My friend had the salmon special which she liked. I had French fries as my side which were very good. I replaced them for the potatoes. We ordered the brownie sundae for dessert. It was very salty. I really wanted the donut holes, but they were only on the tasting menu. Overall it was good and worth trying. Not my favorite in the area but great for a date night or small group of friends.
