Great vibe to a neat place. Have heard lots of good things about here and first visit. We were not sure how to enter, as they had a plastic enclosure around the outdoor seating part, Not a big deal, but different. Kudos the them for taking advantage of the outdoor section in middle of winter. We were part of a large party, with reservations, so seated right away. Service was outstanding!!! Barb, our server was outstanding. She was on the spot with everything!! Food was great. Wife had the crusted grouper and raved about it. I had the chef specialty 12oz ribeye. Cooked perfect. Behle street just keeps on delivering. We decided to stop and get a burgher here, always good and cooked to order, which I love. We sat in the enclosed outdoor space which was nice and toasty even though the temps were in the low 20s! Sheli had added some sort of heater fan which worked really well. We were surprised to see their prices are still so reasonable because we've noticed competitors' prices going up and up! Sheli created a key lim pie that is REMARKABLE!!! Food is good and the patio great when there's live music and it's nice out. Carryout always is good. The Greek salad with blackened chicken is my go to. Their nachos are a really good appetizer. Love the capellini behle street pasta, fresh garlic and tomatoes and seasoned well. read more

While recently visiting Cincinnati we were staying at a hotel near the airport and wanted to catch dinner somewhere semi close to the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't have any restaurants close to it, but this was recommended by the hotel staff and it was only about a 12 minute drive away. In a strip mall, it's kinda unassuming from the outside, but very cute inside. It also has nice patio seating, which is where we choose to sit. A varied menu, with several options, I chose the meatloaf pasta and my husband had a Cesar salad with grilled chicken. Sourdough bread was excellent. Service was nice and efficient. I had never been to the Belle Street by Sheli, but went with friends today, and it was wonderful! The service was excellent as well. Our waiter was Brandon and he was great. He explained some of the things on the menu to us and he was just so pleasant and personable. It's a cute place and I would go back in a minute. Prices are reasonable. It's a little hard to find in the area where it is. It's a little hidden at the very end of the parking lot, but it's worth your while to find it! read more

There were six of us and it was our first time there. Food was great, we were seated on the patio, nice atmosphere, and nice that they provided blankets as it was cold. I think they should focus on adding some more tables inside especially in the colder months. Our server was pleasant and very friendly. The troubadour was good, played a lot of 70's music. The reason I only gave it 4 stars was because when myself and my sister-in-law went in around 9:30 to use the ladies restroom before we left, which is a single toilet, the sink where you wash your hands was FULL to the top with puke and it was ALL over the floor. It stunk and was totally disgusting! Our two tabs at our table were around $200, with a tip much more, so I expect more bathroom checking from an establishment with those prices. read more

I have found a new Gem!!! It is so good, I have limited myself to once a week. I had parmesan crusted Grouper. It was fabulous!!! They also make their own salad dressing (fresh). The Service was super. They are friendly and knowledgeable about there food and wines. The Atmosphere is wonderful !! You can sit inside or out around the enclosed area. They have heaters and throws for every chair, if you desire. Just Precious!! As you can tell I enjoyed my dinner. Can't wait to go back. read more

We visited Behle Street by Sheli last night and had an excellent dinner. We had the crab cake and the meatball appetizers. They were both so good. For my meal, I got the Cajun bayou pasta and it was incredible. It came with a crusty bread that was totally worth the extra carbs. I was so full by this point, though, that I took half my dinner home and I'm looking forward to leftovers later! My husband had the fettuccine Alfredo with blackened chicken. He loved it! My only note is that we dined on a very cold evening and didn't realize we'd be in a tent outside. They are absolutely doing the best they can to accommodate more people, but the heaters and fires meant you might either feel a touch of a chill or get a little too warm. If you're more temperature sensitive, you may want to wait to eat here until the weather is nicer. read more

Okay, so my spouse and I have always enjoyed dining here and have never had a disappointment until our last visit. I tried contacting them via the email address on file at their website, which is theshelitruss@gmail.com but, I never got a reply from them, so I elected to leave a review here without their input. It was nothing so critical that we wouldn't return, I just wanted to share a couple of comments with them, but since they never responded to me, I'm only guessing they don't really care. We visited on 5/25 at 6:30pm. First off the entree that I ordered was the BLT Capellini and had way too much garlic in it and it was a bit unpleasant for my taste. I brought most of it home, but ended up discarding it. I thought perhaps the table attendant would recognize that something was wrong, but it never seemed to dawn on her. It's okay. Secondly, the table we were setting at (by the front door and the check in desk) was absolutely the worst place we have ever had, all that traffic coming in and out of the front door made it a miserable experience, they should consider removing that table altogether. If I'm ever seated there again, I will ask for another table or dine with them another time, there is no way, I will ever set there again. I've said my peace, unfortunately it was on a public forum, I tried to avoid this, but with no response to my email, I'm guessing you don't really care one way or the other, so here it is. read more

I went and waited 8 minutes for a drink. We ordered chicken fingers and fries. a strawberry salad with chicken and a pasta dish. Had 3 waters. The pasta dish had way too much garlic. That was taken off we didn't take but a bite. However it was 45 dollars. The bread was the best of all. went here because everyone else was crowded. I will not do it again. Love Behle Street! We had been to their previous location a few times over the years. On Christmas, we decided to have dinner there and it was excellent. The calamari appetizer was some of the best I have ever had. The house salad (me) was perfect and a great size; the wedge salad (wife and son) was great as well. My wife and I both ordered the 10oz sirloin and both were cooked to perfection. The baked potato was good but I'd probably opt for a different side the next time. Service was excellent. Very thorough, polite and efficient. Seems like a seasoned group of servers who took a lot of pride in their job. The restaurant itself is small, but if you have to wait, you'll be pleased you did so. Prices are reasonable and we certainly won't wait as long to come back for another visit! read more

Visited this spot last weekend on the recommendation of some friends. I had nibbled on some apps at another place right before that so I decided to order light, just some nachos and a beer. Never have I seen such a simple, basic dish so poorly executed -- served in a bowl (?!?) with a unislab of broiled cheese on top, some bland chili topping, and garnished with large clunky chunks of tomato and lettuce better suited to a Big Salad of Seinfeld proportions. Needless to say I didn't eat much of it, and declined the offer of a carry out box. In fairness my dining companions seemed to like their food choices. To further heighten my disappointment, there were only two beers available on tap, and not particularly good ones if you know anything about craft beer. So basically I was batting 0 for 2 on my menu selections. The only saving grace was the lovely outdoor seating on a fine spring evening with live music of sorts -- a guy playing guitar over some backing tracks while his partner provided the vocals. But if there is rain in the forecast be warned, the indoor seating capacity is quite small. read more

This was my first time here and I wasn't sure what to order. It was lunch, and I decided on the half BST sandwich and soup- which was amazing. The sandwich was probably one of the best I've had. The bacon, garlic aioli and spinach just worked. The homemade potato soup is so decadent. This is a place that I would have to keep in my rotation. 1-10 would I go again - for me it is a 3 and unless I'm hungry for the house bread and butter it is a no for me. Customer Service - I called to make a reservation. Initially, I thought I had the wrong number. Why did I think that? Because the person answering said "hello" - that is it, just hello. However, our table server was pleasant. House Bread - It is served warm with salted butter and is very good. If you like the Hawaiian Soda Cracker, you will love this. It is a simple yeast bread that is crunchy on the outside and soft and gooey (of course cooked) on the inside. Their bread is not made in-house and comes from a baking wholesale company in NJ. I loved it and our server was kind enough to give me a few pieces to take home. Truffle Penne Pasta - It was okay. Penne was a bit dry and little truffle flavor. If you do order an add-on (for example: blackened shrimp and scallops), might I recommend that you get it on the side as to not overpower the truffle taste. Did not take home leftovers. Cajun Pasta - This is one of their best selling. This was not my dish so I cannot go in depth. However, my lunch date mentioned that he would not eat it again. Did not take home leftovers. Fried Zucchini - It was okay. Not the best. Not the worst. Heavy on the panko and too long in the fryer. Coke - I know this is a weird one, but their Coke was good. Atmosphere - Indoor and outdoor options available. It was good weather to eat outdoors today but we decided to eat indoor as the restaurant is right next to a railroad track. Ambiance is nice outdoors. Indoors, it's simple. And nothing is wrong with that. Conclusion - Many foodie friends have rated this place well! So don't let my review deter you. Try it. The restaurant is sandwiched between I75 and the rail tracks and extremely loud, extremely noisy.We chose outside and ordered iced tea. Restaurant varies in volume of loud to extremely loud. Our server was very attentive. We ordered the fried zucchini which arrived a dark brown ( bad oil or cooked to long?) zucchini didn't adhere to the breading and pulled out. Crispy rocks with water inside. I kept thinking it was going to get better but it didn't. We ordered entrees, my guest a salad and I the mahi special ( server, no idea on price or anything about the special except for it was " blackened ". Entrees were delicious, service was good. Our server is incredibly kind, a bit slow, but fun to talk with and sit at his table. He makes a great cosmo! We ordered fried zucchini- it was a bit under seasoned and watery for my liking. I'd say skip and try and different appetizer. My pasta (truffle oil with grilled chicken) was underwhelming. Not seasoned enough chicken, truffle oil was hardly noticeable. My husband's fettuccine Alfredo with blackened shrimp and scallops was good. Neither were anything to write home about. The food at Behle Street by Sheli is always delicious.....literally EVERYTHING on the menu is very good. The atmosphere is always comfortable and the live entertainment is always something to look forward to as we're enjoying a great dinner as a couple, a family, with a group of friends, or with a customer. There are several servers that have been at this restaurant for many years and the kitchen staff is excellent as well. Sheli is always working and making the rounds table-by-table saying hello to her customers and making sure everyone is happy. You really can't find a better, more welcoming restaurant and owner that has been servicing customers for decades now (dating back to the original Behle Street in Covington that was owned by Tommy Behle). The consistency of excellent food and service simply cannot be beat. Our family is grateful to Sheli and her staff for being one of the best restaurants in the greater Northern Kentucky area.....and don't forget to order up a Train Beer when a train goes by! read more

We came here before a High School graduation ceremony with a party of 7. We had reservations and a nice table outside. The staff moved umbrellas around to make certain we had shade. The drinks were creative and delicious. The food was great! The restaurant itself doesn't have much space inside, but we prefer eating outside when it's warm enough. Behle Street is the crown jewel of Fort Mitchell Kentucky. This bistro has inventive and creative home style dishes on the menu. There is something on the menu to satisfy everyone's palate! I do want to make mention of the Yelp coupon for free appetizer when you check in for the first time at Behle Street. We took advantage of the offer and ended up trying two appetizers. Glad we did for there were many to choose from! The crab cakes are phenomenal!!! Delicious remoulade sauce brings flavor up a notch. They are number one in my culinary book. Also, tried the homemade fried zucchini that made a so so impression. The zucchini was sliced thin which got lost in the very thick panko crust. I really enjoyed my Parmesan Crusted Grouper with a cream sauce that had a blend fresh spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, served over cilantro rice. A very delightful dish! My husband had the battered Fish Sandwich. White cod, house-made tartar sauce, lettuce, and tomato served on rye bread. The tartar sauce was the bomb! I could just lather that on everything I eat. Service was great! We absolutely loved the Marty Conner Band and definitely will be back to enjoy more of the interactive entertainment! The drawback would be the location. It was decent food! I ordered a burger which I honestly did enjoy but it seemed as if it took unnecessarily long for the order to come out. Also, when I sat down I ordered a mimosa, the server asked if I wanted bottomless or single and I said single. The food was taking a while so I ordered a third glass, no big deal, and he came back to say that they were out of mimosas. Mind you it's noon on a Sunday and I'm surrounded by empty tables. That was odd to me. Positive takeaway - Our server was a young man that was so nice. I really appreciated his friendly attitude!
