Not only did they rob me of my neck and giblets and cut out a chunk of the turkey, most real farms include herbs from their garden for brining. This heritage turkey had absolutely no flavor of game to convince me it was raised wild. I have prepared and roasted goose, duck, and wild turkey for over 20 years for my family, and this farm is not authentic. We use a local USDA butcher to process all of our meats, and he packages the giblets and neck from each turkey and then adds them back into the cavity. The package can be difficult to reach and you may have to try from both ends of the turkey. We have never encountered a situation where the neck and giblets are missing, but it is not impossible, as each turkey is handled by a person, not machines. What I have just realized is that this company doesn't seem to care about allergies or honoring their return policy. I bought a Neutrogena face wash on March 1st, 2021. I used it ONE time and had a major reaction on my face. At first I was told that it wasn't within the 14 day window to bring it back. So I asked Kitty to just throw it away for me. Then I got to thinking and realized today would be the 14th day and decided I needed to talk to the manager. I spoke with Joe about it and he was sorry I had a reaction; but because I had opened it, he could not return it even though it was within their 14 day policy. Sure it was only $8.49; but still. This is a local grocery store that my husband and I frequently buy from. I almost NEVER return things. But this one time I did, and I got turned away. And never once did I see anything about that on their return policy. Attached is their policy that i had found. For a lot of good this company does, I'm upset that there isn't a clarified response on this; but I wanted to warn others before they decide to buy hygiene items from Kroger.

Only issue is, this location has a history of baiting customers and then not delivering. For instance, they may state they are going with the promotion and then if the customer buys something else, they will still charge them for it (not just that, but a higher price...look at reviews below). So I am debating on whether or not to drive 14 miles there after work only for them to tell me they are not participating. Of course I could call them and sound like an idiot, which I will not do (as if I am only going there just to free load, which I am, but I do not want them to know that...foodie problems). Okay you know what and this is true...I do buy other things with these promotions. Please disregard where I stated I freeload. I was beyond excited to step into a Publix and enjoy some delicious wholesome food. I was in line for a quite a bit at the deli, but I ordered their chicken tender wrap. It was pretty huge, and very filling. I was only able to finish one half of the wrap, and had plenty of leftovers for dinner. This is a great value of less than $9 to fill up for lunch and even dinner. I loved my experience here and defiantly plan to come back for future foodie adventures to try out other options. The staff here is very friendly and I absolutely love how nice everything looks inside. From the ease of the grocery carts, to the brightness of the store esthetics. I will most definitely be coming back and enjoying the various goodies that Publix has to offer.
