Our server clearly wasn't having a good day, didn't seem interested in us, and let our drinks sit empty long enough that we had to wave him down just to get refills. My goal was to procure fresh ground lamb mince to make homemade dolmathes, and fresh chicken thighs (bone-in and skin on) to make homemade Pho Ga. I went to the butcher counter and told the butcher I wanted 2 pounds of lamb mince, and he went to grab a whole lamb, cut off the sections needed for the mince, and ground it right before my eyes ! It can't get any fresher than that. The chicken thighs were already cut and packaged but still look amazingly fresh. They have a small section of produce, huge amounts of tea from which to choose, all kinds of sweets and snacks, fresh flat breads, and so many other items from which to choose that I cannot even begin to name them all. Everyone in store was helpful and pleasant. I just found my new butcher shop for fresh meats!

Usually it is 95 cents at big box stores so we just bought two cans to tide us over through our little emergency. The store was so interesting that we continued to browse around and found a great deal on ice cream treats. The My Mochi - Strawberry is regularly priced at $6.49 but was on sale for $3.99 today. One of the more interesting things here is the wood floors. And it seems like at least a third of the square footage is dedicated to fresh produce and fruits.

Your breakfast will never be the same after Charlie - and you won't regret the trip despite the location requiring navigation of New Circle Rd. I have heard rumors about the country ham but either forget to check or am unlucky in timing. Added bonus to visiting this strip mall is it frequently includes live entertainment in nearby parking lots.

I walk to the gal and ask "Do you guys have mini packs of hotdogs?" Gal: "No. -_-" I: I say "Thanks." and walk out. What is up with this? Not even a "We do have hotdogs though." Or..."Yeah, we sold out of hotdogs."
