So they replaced them and they have not worked properly since. Right of they started smoking. They said they fixed that but then the next time the smoke was so bad that it made me sick. Then they said they fixed again and still smoking, sticking, shaking...each time we took it back, they never repaired them. Finally one of the techs took it out and admitted something was wrong. Made another appointment and when we took it in....another tech said no problem...so here we are months later after they insisted they needed to replace the brakes and still stuck with the same mess.

If I really cared about my alloy wheels, I would have been horrified!! The edge of 3 of the rims were severely scraped. Not just a little bit. A LOT. They were about $40 for all four wheels, but I will never bring them any more tires to mount. Thank goodness it wasn't my nice set of wheels. So in my conclusion, Palmers is just another small Vermont auto repair business that is more concerned about speed and money then taking a few extra moment to do something right. Right after that, I started getting check engine lights wiper blades not working brake sensors. After getting it checked out, they explained there was a mouse nest in my wiper blade which I accepted that's on me. But explained that my brake sensor was kicked off, even though my brakes still have life on them and I need to replace all the brakes for $700. It seems to be like a factory issue to kick off sensors when the pads are still fine. This is my only negative experience. It is odd to me that all this happens after a software update. they said I can not fix the sensor without all new pads and rotors. The main reason I'm frustrated is because this is a new lease a little over a year with 19,000 miles on the truck that I got brand new. A big selling point when they sold me this truck was the brakes and tires are rated for longer than my lease so I will not have to change either.
