Eastbound side of I-10, looking north towards the restrooms and vending machines. Separate parking lots for trucks and passenger vehicles.

Located off the I-10, halfway between New Hope and Centennial, Arizona (LAT 33.611799, LON -113.646031). Twice in as many years, we've stopped on our drive to and from the Phoenix area to use the restrooms and stretch our legs. Good, easy access parking lots (separate lots for trucks and passenger vehicles), clean grounds, and facilities, but I did notice that they were missing hand soap in the restrooms, and only one of the two hand air dryers were working (no paper towels). Overall. A decent, clean, and seemingly safe rest area.

After leaving the main cities of Arizona on the 10 Fwy, Bouse Wash Rest Area is the first rest area you hit heading west so do take advantage of it because the next rest area is about 50+ miles away. That's what I did. It was a very quick stop for a restroom break. My eldest daughter didn't need to go so it was just me. Rest area is very clean and well kept. Women's restroom was decent. Toilet supplies were adequate. Sometimes I wonder when these rest area restrooms are refilled. These rest areas have been around so I'm sure they have it down to a science. Besides restrooms, they have covered picnic tables and chairs for people to sit, eat, and take a break after a long drive. They also have an area for pets, too. Thank you AZ for this rest area!

This rest stop is very clean! I would be afraid at night, but during the daytime, it was quite lovely and a wonderful time to get out and stretch!

Just a reminder to be careful at this stop, especially in the summer.

I always dread rest stops like these but it had the cleanest rest stop bathroom I have ever encountered. Plenty of toilet paper, no messes on the floor and soap in the dispensers. I was pleasantly surprised!

Review of both the East and Western rest stops. - Relatively safe, no sketchy people milling around. - Restrooms are okay for a rest stop. - Nice view of the mountain. Negative - The relentless flies. These little bitches will get in your car and won't leave. Good luck getting them out while driving.

Its a great place to stop by the facilities were pretty dirty the time I stopped here. In the men's room there were only two toilets available. There is a lot of parking however and some interesting history and factoids about the Sonora desert.

They are open, have restrooms and vending, picnic tables , and the usual rest area options. Including bees at the garbage baskets. Be careful.

This is Arizona so it's hot, the ground is rocks and dirt sprinkled with sparse vegetation, and there's not much else here. Fortunately, there is a little bit of shade and and area in which to walk your pets. The restrooms were clean enough, but unfortunately there was but a single roll of toilet paper in the entire female restroom. Now, that may not seem like such a big deal to the males reading this review, but I guarantee you all the female readers are cringing about now. There was also a line of women waiting to get into the stalls that consisted of a plucky band of women informing each new member that entered their midst of the dire situation and passing said roll of toilet paper down the line so each person could take what they needed before entering the stall. This was around 2 pm on a Thursday. I can only imagine the terror and chaos that must have ensued when the final square of tp was finally stripped from the roll at some point later in the day. Oh, the horror of it all. Other than that, it was a perfectly adequate rest stop. Be warned, though, that if you're headed East, the next rest stop is currently closed, so this may be your last chance to, um, unload... If you're headed West, there is an exit 7 miles on with a gas station which may or may not be a better bet.

We came in at 1ish am Women's restroom was dirty but I needed to use it. Dark outside can't enjoy a nice view... Parking was confusing we ended up walking a healthy distance.

PEPPY STAFF & CLEAN REST STOP... however, the restrooms smelled like all kinds of hellish smells. I…read morecan understand when a restroom isn't cleaned on a regular basis, this wasn't the issue. The men's restroom stenches of pot, no child should be subjected to that smell. I don't think the staff keep an eye on who was running into the restrooms. I saw many shady characters (drug-addict types) mixed in the bathroom with regular patrons and minors. I felt really anxious being in line for the stalls, the vibes were off. Some creeper would not come out of the restroom, he spent a long time taking up a stall and the smells got worse. Now, I will say the floor and sink were kept tidy given the amount of traffic coming in and out on a daily basis. Additionally, the convenience store section was well-stocked and orderly. I further appreciated the access to showers and designated fueling stations for truckers. I can tell this Love's was built with intent, they planned the entire station well. If you're hungry there's a Subway and Chester's inside the Love's. Lots of guys were buying a snack on the way out, the food looked hot and ready! Everything looked fresh and smelled great.

The only time I ever see a Love's is when I'm deep into a road trip, somewhere between here and there, chasing highway lines. That glowing red-and-yellow heart on the horizon feels like a tiny beacon of civilization in the great unknown. It's the kind of stop that gives your legs a break and your sanity a reset. The bathrooms are dependably clean. The snack aisles are abundant. The parking lot is a symphony of truck engines, dusty SUVs, and that one RV with a tiny dog looking out the window. They have both a Chester's Chicken and Subway counter in here if you need to grab a bite to eat. You don't plan to fall in love with a travel stop but somehow, Love's just gets it right. Whether you're grabbing a coffee, browsing road trip trinkets you absolutely do not need, or just taking a moment to breathe and stretch, Love's is more than a pit stop. It's a pause you actually look forward to. Now get me some Love's beef jerky! That stuff is a jaw workout.
