This airline should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. My flight was due to board in 2 minutes…read morewhen they made the announcement... my plane is grounded in Chicago. My 5pm flight now is now scheduled to leave at 11pm. I know they don't control the weather, don't get me wrong. However if it takes 2 hours for a flight to get to Ottawa from Chicago and the plane has been grounded in Chicago (meaning it never left there) then they've known for at least 2 hours that this delay was guaranteed. So 2 minutes before scheduled boarding they finally drop the news!? Ridiculous! Maybe I could have made new arrangements but at this point I have no options. Absolutely shameful. They still haven't updated the screens to reflect the new departure time! I'll never fly United again, and I'd encourage anyone reading this to do the same. They don't even care enough to update you about MASSIVE delays and that's unacceptable. I feel bad for the gate agents who now have to explain why they didn't bother telling anyone for hours that our plane is as good as canceled. I'm sure they just learned about this info same as us but someone we'll never see or know made the call to lie to their customers and workers until the last second, bringing the fury of an angry planes worth of people down upon 1 man who had nothing to do with it. I'd request a partial refund but let's be honest... we're not even human to these people, we're cattle.

Ironic that I'm probably raising the star rating for this United location with my two-star rating…read more Please, United, this airport needs more staff. The check in experience was third-world. I printed my own passes and bag tags, all they had to do is weigh and scan, and it still took an hour. No Premier help and a very gruff gate agent made it even worse. As for my flight, it was pleasant, crew was great. My issue was just with the rough check-in experience.

Both times were the fault of their staff, one time jerky bad staff who promised to get back to me and instead left me I had to purchase an alternate way home The second time their staff were completely absent at the airport, no one could be found, and I spend 8 calls on with Flair customer service who also could not contact their own staff. I lost about $550 this time and missed the entire trip. They promised they would give me compensation, but this never happened, so its really really hard to see how Flair can be okay. They literally don't do what they say they would do. I was so enthused when Flair appeared, I was promoting them left and right to everyone but I felt absolutely betrayed when they proved themselves to be shyster and unreliable I would be a fool to ever trust them again, and though there are people who've done alright with them, you will be let down

The food that was ordered through the app onboard arrived quickly although they do serve instant coffee not real coffee. We arrived in Ottawa on time and I was surprisingly pleased that I had travelled across the country for such a low rate. I had assumed I would be sitting on the wing, lol. I will use these guys again

Air Canada has been one of my favorite airlines for decades, but recent experience flying between…read morethe States and Canada, and to/from Europe, has been inconsistent. Telephone customer service had been very good. Flying to Europe from Montreal last month, the aircraft cabin was wide, on-board service was fine, but WiFi and entertainment selection was so so. The Air Canada app is good and helpful.

Yelp Review 2026 #56:…read more I've flown with Air Canada several times. But my latest Air Canada flight from Montréal to Las Vegas has by far been the worst. Booked a business class flight from Geneva, Switzerland to Las Vegas with a layover in YUL a few months ago. Woke to an email with a flight schedule change that did not make any sense. I'll be arriving in Montréal an hour later than my departure from Montréal to Vegas! I couldn't change the flights online and a phone call had to be made. I ended up with an overnight layover in Montréal which is fine. It gave me a chance to revisit the city. Checking in was a breeze through the priority lane with nobody standing in line at all. VIP security check and Mobile Global Entry got me to the business lounge in under 10 minutes. That was the best part about the flight. Everything after that went downhill. Boarding was late. Business class seats are wider with a 2-2 configuration, more legroom and more recline. We were notified the tray table was broken for my travel companion upon check in at the airport. Free Wi-Fi, good in-flight entertainment, breakfast, drinks including alcohol and snacks served for the 5-hour flight. I pre-ordered my meal online. The menu is different on the screen at the seat vs what's online. The food was ok. Flight attendant, Suzy is the worst and probably should not be assigned in business class with her attitude. Not friendly and quite rude. She was giving off "I've been doing this job for years. I hate everyone and I'm ready to retire" vibes. During meal service, she asked what I wanted to drink and I said peppermint tea. She notified me that she cannot serve me tea while the fasten seatbelt light is on - ok, no problem. I got orange juice instead. The fasten seat belt light has been off for a good 10 minutes so, I figured I'd revisit my peppermint tea. Suzy snaps at me "like I told you earlier, I cannot give you tea when the fasten seat belt light is on!" So, I pointed to the non-lit fasten seatbelt light. And she goes "oh. Well, it must've just gotten turned off." No apologies whatsoever. Just downright rude. Time to help economy passengers instead or retire! In some countries, flight attendants are screened based on looks, height and friendliness. Canadian and American airline companies don't do that which is fine but at least emphasize customer service.

We recently flew with Air Transat from Montreal YUL to Punta Cana and back. I still like this…read moreairline the best - even though it seems every time we fly with them, there is less and less "perks" included in the "upgrades". Club Class was available on our flight going to Punta Cana - very much worth the extra costs to us, if only for the leg room and wider seats (I'm 5'3 and petite so granted, I'm not a reference for needing leg room. But my 5'11, 200lb boyfriend really enjoys the extra space!). Meal is served with real cutlery and usually pretty good. They were quite generous with the drinks which was a great start to our vacation! If you want to use AirPods to watch TV on their entertainment system, bring an adapter - if not, earphones are supplied for Club passengers (economy can purchase them. Or, bring the old school ones that plug in). I was thrilled that Club passengers were asked to board *before* families with children this time - not sure if it was a coincidence, but it's something that I had commented on in the past, and if Air Transat took note of my comments, it's greatly appreciated!! (I know it's a small thing but with only about 12-15 passengers in Club, there's no reason to board families first; they will still have plenty of time to settle, and it's just a small thing that makes flying Club more special and worth the extra cost). We had to fly Option Plus on return from Punta Cana because our aircraft was a smaller, older plane with only two rows of seats and no Club section. I removed a star because Option Plus is now $10 more expensive per person AND they removed all perks *in* the airplane - basically now Option Plus is only useful at the airport - special fast lane to check in and baggage drop-off, extra baggage allowance, seat selection... but no more included snacks and alcohol drinks (those can be purchased either in advance or during the flight - which we did... I don't care that the tiny bottle of wine is $10, I want my glass of wine for the flight!). All staff and flight attendants were amazing on both our flights. The aircrafts were clean. I really like this airline the best, and will keep choosing them whenever possible for our vacations!

I sent all medical documentation and even a death certificate. I called over 9 times and asked for a manager. No one would speak to us. Eventually, they sent a cold rejection email--no refund, no credit, nothing. Meanwhile, my relatives on the same trip--booked through three different airlines--received full refunds with no hassle. I even used Air Transat for my destination wedding, but after this, I'll never use them again. If you value customer service and empathy, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere.
