A great spot for blueberry lovers! Their items may vary in availability depending on the season. The location is small and they have a couple of parking spots available. There's some outdoor seating, available but the majority is in the sun. The people inside were very friendly and let us try samples of the blueberries. We ordered an ice cream sandwich, a full flat of blueberries, and blueberry juice. The ice cream sandwich was packed with blueberries and had really good flavor. I live too far away to visit, otherwise I'd be there weekly! I order my blueberry products online: blueberry juice, freeze dried berries and powder. I am completely addicted now to the juice. I start my day every morning with a couple of shots and it blasts me with energy. I don't know if my body is happy coz it tastes so good or if it's just feeding my needs to get up and go, but I think it's both. I haven't been sick once with a cold or flu since starting my daily routine with it. I can never run out it's not a good thing. They ship promptly so I seem to be well stocked. The freeze dried berries are great for baking as is the powder, and also I use the berries with an orange slice or cucumber slices for flavored water (also great for cocktails). My son and I were in the area; so, we stopped in for ice cream. Their ice cream is made by Lopez Island Creamery and sold in pint ($6) and 1/2 pint ($4) containers. They also have popsicles ($4). The ice cream was very good. It's on the lighter size (which I like), not too sweet and airy. I assumed they would sell ice cream by the scoop. When I found out we had to pick a container of ice cream from the freezer ourselves, I was turned off by that. So, I cannot call myself a fan (4 stars)*. The staff was friendly here. Since it is towards blueberry season, the crop wasn't as large and juicy. They were small. One unit was priced at $1 so you can tell that the blueberries won't be as plump and juicy. We did some taste sampling as we wandered thru the area, and some berries were sweet while others were tart. The sunflower picking was also priced at $1, but I am not sure if it is per sunflower or per weight unit. They were huge and can easily tower over you. It was pretty to look at nonetheless. There were also blueberry souvenirs for purchasing: mugs, t-shirts, jams, and even pint size ice cream. In the middle of July on a Wednesday, I took my out-of-town boyfriend on a drive through the valley. He saw a sign for blueberries and wanted to give it a shot, so we stopped at Bow Hill. Didn't go during growing season, just stopped by for some blueberry luv'n. Had hoped for a big scoop of ice cream, but it turns out they only have pre-packaged stuff. While the ice cream was made using their berries, Lopez island creamery makes the actual goods. The store front is cute from the outside, the interior is a bit rustic/barn-ish, a few products from berry juice to freeze dried stuff to Knick-knacks. One of our last stops during our trip from Seattle, and we definitely had a wonderful experience here. The person assisting us was very enthusiastic to tell us about the farm and the items they sold in their store. We ended up with the Blueberry jam, Blueberry juice, and ice cream. We had a nice relaxing time outside eating our ice cream (definitely have them squirt a dollop of their jam on top of the ice cream - it's free and it adds a punch to the flavor). Definitely on our list of must-see the next time we take a trip from Seattle. Very quiet and peaceful place. read more

A great place to pick or buy organic Blue crop, Jersey, Stanley and Rubel blueberries. A lot or a little. Visit many times a season. It's peaceful and fun for all ages. Stopped by here in November and obviously there were no blueberries to pick. But, there was blueberry ice cream to eat and some blueberry concentrated liquid to taste. I liked the ice cream - not my favorite, but had light flavor and was good. I would have loved it to be creamier. We ate it in the car, and there was a hilarious cat that jumped onto our car and watched us eat. Luckily, it did not get hurt when we drove away. Anyways, you can get some from Whole Foods if you want to try it yourself. I would come here if you're around the area, but otherwise only come if it's blueberry season and you can do some picking. read more

I came here as a "field trip" class via the Pantry in Seattle. We came here to pick blueberries, and got a little sampling of their products, and got to tour their farm. What a fun day it was! I love that you can get a "grazing" pass as you pick, so you don't feel guilty for sneakily eating blueberries without people seeing you. I spent about an hour picking and got to bring home delicious blueberries. They also have a few varieties so you can taste them side by side. I liked the Stanley variety, which is not commonly found at the store. We got to sample their pickled blueberries, sauce, jam, juice, and their ice cream! Man oh man, the ice cream with the blueberry sauce was amazing - I still think about it... I ended up buying some sauce as a present, the pickled blueberries (they provided a recipe where it's served with salmon) and a bottle of that blueberry juice. I've been conserving the juice because it's not found in stores yet, there is no sugar added but it is delicious! I drink it plain, although they would be good additions for moscow mules or mimosas. The options are endless! In addition, the staff was friendly and the farm is just so darn cute. A must stop in the Bow-Edison area. There's so much yummy things to explore in this area, I can't wait to be back. read more

D U D E. This place is pretty neat. I came during their off season, but if I were to come back during the summer I'd love to go blue berry harvesting. They sell blueberries for like $2.50/lb at peak season, and have all sorts of goodies year round. (4/18/2015) We were doing food tour of farms around Bow/Edison/Mount Vernon and stopped in to see what they had. It was April, the blueberry bushes were just beginning to bloom. They had several products made from last year's blueberry harvest for sale in their tiny storefront. Large picnic tables outside could accommodate several pickers (if it was the season). Def must get a pint of the Bow Hill Blueberry Ice Cream made by Lopez Island Creamy, delicious creamy, rich, ice cream, a dark purple with Bow Hill blueberries. Very picked over. Spent $17 for 0.67 lbs because they charge 5 bucks per person to enter. The roped off sections that are not u pick were huge blueberries. We will definitely not be returning. Very very disappointing. The cashier was rude. We later went to Barbie's Berries in Ferndale, night and day, picked 3 big boxes of berries, blackberries, blueberries, and strawberries. There were no restrictions and none of the aisles were roped off. No entry fee. Spent $40. read more

We visited Bow Hill and loved it, too bad we missed the picking season, they have some fun products, and loved the quick tour and especially the lovely drive into Bow.
