before driving all the way to co-op from Yonkers I asked about prices . price sound decent so we came. once we got there one employee told me one price and that they only take cash, so I had to walk a couple blocks for cash because they did not have an ATM. After getting cash from gas station it took about 30 minutes once we came back a different employee raised the price I have a 3 year old autistic daughter who just wanted to roll a couple of balls doan the lane but the manager told me I could not pay for my daughter just to bowl one game since I was doing a two hour bowl session. He then said very rudely either we all bowl one game each or I pay $40 for my 3 yrs daughter for two hour bowling unlimited. Then my group realized that he was putting all the black people in a bunch of crappy lanes at the front of the alley so he could keep an eye on us. I swear he sat by the bar and started us down. The bathrooms was disgraceful disgusting after the games in the little mini arcade he had there didn't the beer and conceptive stamp prices was way too high and they only only and they don't tell you that until you get there then they don't have an ATM. So no we are not trying to post one price for multiple people to bowl. The young lady when we came in gave us a price she said $15 for the three year-old to game and then $40 for the three adults bowl unlimited so therefore that's $30 for the kids to game and then 44 each adult which is 120 so we went to the ATM and we got a total of 150 because the 120+30 for the kids when we came back, there was a Caucasian male working and he was like oh no we can't do that. I don't care what that other lady said I'm the you can't pay for just one game for the kids the bowl you have to pay for two hours that's$40. I'm like how are you gonna tell me how long my kid is gonna bowl for that long and she's autistic. three adults and autistic girl who just wanted to roll a couple of because we're black does not mean we afford for all the adults to paid $160 so Mr. William, you are a very disrespectful owner and for you to say that just because we're wanted to pay for one people both that's racism and you . Well where should I start because the experience start to finish was subpar. While paying individually, there was disconnect with attributing monies to guests in the party resulting in one of our guests being skipped on the first round. The attendants were not receptive or helpful leaving us to switch names around in the system to make it accurate after going back and forth with them to release the name. Now to the balls. There were little to no lanes available to choose balls from due to them being in use. The ones available ALL were small. This was not ideal for our male bowlers. The second frame, none of our second bowls registered in the system. On the 8th frame, our lane began to spazz and reset the frame for everyone smh By this time we were just ready to go. If you have any other bowling options around, it would be best to save your money and patronize them instead . read more

It was so bad. First of all the ambiance could've used a touch. Pizza was over cooked. And that's the good part. When we started playing the sync of the pins were off and no one knew who's game it was. I've been playing for years and honestly the pins and the smoothness of the floor was all wrong. Do not sleep on this spot it's in the odd spot in the Bronx but I love the fact you could come here pretty much almost anytime and get your ball on have a couple of drinks kick it with some friends. The customer service here is pretty much decent but it's the environments the people is the good time that everybody is having that makes the spot pretty cool on a Friday or Saturday or even during the week. the cost of bowling here is not too expensive not over-the-top is better than going down into Manhattan so if I was anybody who wants to have an itch to have a quick bowl game or just wake up with a bunch of friends are drinks good people around no drama no beef definitely check out this place Grade: B- read more

First visit and it is in the middle of nowhere (very industrial). And we would definitely go back! My family and I had a great experience. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. We were there on a rainy sat afternoon and it wasn't very crowded. A few families with young children, couples, and a group of twenty yr olds. Our shoes were on the newer side, easily found balls, and enjoyed the modern scoring screens (had lots of fun with the selfie app)! Ps. We didn't order any food so I can't comment. read more

The staff isn't friendly at all. Something was wrong with our game so we hit the reset button to fix the pins, this happened twice before the machine corrected. A staff member from the back came out shaking his head and telling us there wasn't anything wrong. Claiming that we were impatient and had to wait for it to reset. Even though I explained to him the we had waited five minutes and the machine that sets the pins had not movies. All this is fine, but what really got me was his insistence to watch us play and see if the machine would acted up again. Of course it didn't. Pro: The bowling alley is nice. Really enjoyed the selection of music. The bowlers console and the lanes are also a plus. They also have billiard tables in the front. We went on a sunday, 2/21 was about 3:30 pm and we paid about $24 bucks per game for two kids. Con: But like everyone else, the cash only thing is an inconvenience especially in our time... 21st century. Not many want to exchange cash when mostly everything is done via card. And there is no ATM on site. We also noticed and I am glad for our mask, not just me but there were four of us, that were there... there was a really bad musty odor in the place. There was no way of making any mistake on how strong that smell was. Overall, the place does look nice, music is good and there's plenty of parking. read more

If I could give this place a lower rating, I would. We visited this place from out of town with family. My mom, who is much older, wasn't going to play. The gentleman at the counter shared that the owner decided, on a whim, to charge everyone who entered just this night, whether they played or not. What??!! They, too, didn't understand that logic and shook their heads in disapproval. My husband asked for the owner and explained that my mom couldn't play and that we would need to take our business elsewhere if charged (but that we wanted to stay). The man just grinned as he said that he didn't like my husband's attitude and was going to charge us anyway. Mind you, this entire time, we were calm and just trying to speak loud enough over the loud music. Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere. There is nothing around it except storage facilities and big-rig truck parking lots. Very creepy, especially at night! Strike Two: They do not accept credit/debit cards and do not have an ATM on the premises. So my fiancé had to get back in the car and go to McDonald's to grab cash from their ATM. Strike Three: Could not find a decent bowling ball to save my life! Strike Four: Our lane starting malfunctioning towards the end of our first game so we had to move to a different lane after waiting 20 minutes for someone to assist us. Same issue happened again during our 2nd game so we just gave up! RIP-OFF!!! Strike Five: They charge $5 for a slice of pizza that they actually order from an off-site pizzeria! RIP-OFF!!! Strike Six: Alcoholic beverages cost $12! We were offered the option of a mixed drink or a shot. When we chose the shot, the waitress informed us that if she gives us a shot, it's measured and won't be a lot of alcohol. She said it would be better to get a mixed drink because we would get more for our money. However, I think she played us because the drink tasted as though there was NO alcohol in it. We basically payed $12 for a glass of cranberry juice! RIP-OFF!!! Strike Seven: Only provide non-alcoholic beverages (water, soda, etc...) via vending machines for $3 a pop! RIP-OFF!!! Strike Eight: Snack machines charge $4 for a tiny bag of chips. RIP-OFF!!! Strike Nine: They would not let us take out our birthday cake we had brought with us since it's considered outside food! This place was not worth anything. Please find a better location. To start off it's smells like a veterinarian clinic. The place is very much unattended. The site manager approached us in a COVID safe helmet and was extremely particular about masks but the place was very messy. For all their "strict" guidelines, this place was a dump. The bathrooms were messy and hadn't been cleaned in days! They don't offer lots of food options, only pizza and there was barely any staff. To top it off the vending machines were stacked with options but didn't work. The surrounding area is so sketchy. They're a cash only business but don't have an ATM. I love to go bowling. So when I found this place I had to check it out. The place was pretty big. Each lane had updated monitors where you can choose what kind of game you would like to play. You can take pictures to make yourself into cartoons so whenever you bowl you can see yourself on the screen. They also had themes games on the screen along with a few others. You can also find two pool tables in the front. A bar section with food and beers. And also vending machines all around. Only thing I did not like about this place was that it was cash only. A nothing fancy no frills bowling alley in the bronx thats semi hidden just before the bridge that separates the bronx and Westchester. Its been years since my last visit and it looks the same except for the electronic scoring and updated floors and table. We were lucky as we came on a non league night and with weather being crappy we were able to bowl without annoying brats running around or bad bowlers who think they are Earl Anthony. The rates for each games are less then 5 bucks and the lanes are well maintained. Got just a soda from the snack bar so I really can't comment on the food . Not a bowling house that you will say wow this place is great but if you want to just bowl for fun and without much noise then Bowlerland is the place for you . read more

First time here with a group of friends. Location is pretty inconvenient; very sketchy neighborhood and I wouldn't recommend for anyone to travel by themselves on foot here. Its an industrial area so there are a lot of factories and trucks. Best way to get there is by car. Public transportation isn't close except the 5 train. According to google maps its an 8 min walk, which isn't bad but again its a sketchy neighborhood. The place itself was clean and staff was friendly. The place also had an arcade if you have to wait for your turn to bowl. You pay by the amount of games and the shoe rental is free. Unfortunately the music wasn't well suited for a fun bowling night. It was more suited for "post break up sobbing on myself" night. The food was overly priced ($6 for a small chocolate) and water which should be free wasn't. A cup of ice was $3.00 and bottled water was $3.50. Overall my friends and I made the best of it since we were there; we played 3 games. I was looking for a bowling alley that was kid friendly for my 3 year old. They have huge dinosaurs to help the kids bowl as well as bumpers. We paid $36 for a game for myself, husband and daughter. The place was also clean. Downfall: Credit cards are not accepted. The bumpers on the lanes either stay up or down. Not automatic as I have seen at other bowling alleys. Decent bowling alley for NYC especially when you consider the price $8/game per person. That beats the $50 in the City. The only minuses are the location (in the middle of nowhere and not remotely close to the Metro) and the facts that: 1) it's cash only 2) there is no ATM inside. With that said be prepared with cash-on-hand or have to walk Down a sketchy street to the local gas station and use one of those portable ATMs. The food was ok (pricey) but they only had 3 things of the list of foods : wings, pizza, nachos = good enough. Skip the bar, the drinks are small. Just get a pitcher of beer or bottled/can drinks if you need to wet your whistle Also, all of their balls 12lbs and under have small holes for some reason. I couldn't use any of them. The need to bore some Smaller weighted balls for larger/longer fingers like mine. 15lbs gets heavy REALLY QUICKLY. read more

This bowling alley is so uncomfortable to be at that you just don't feel welcomed nor either coming back ever again, thanks to the only person they have working there, "a really rude with nasty attitude blonde fat girl"... I haven't been in a place where an employee complaint so much about her job and her boss. When I got there I had to look for someone to give me the shoes and charge me because nobody was in that area. What a surprise that this girl was at the kitchen and came talking a lot of S*** like I was bothering her to see how many people we were and didn't explain one single thing. After looking for our line, I decided to go to the snack bar and ask the same girl for chicken tenders and fries, but she replied that she wasn't going to fry anything at that time and she was just selling nachos to us "IF I WANTED TO" and I was shock. I even had to wait for her to give me the nasty nachos and then I went to the other side of the place where they have a full bar but no bartender was there. I had to go and tell her and she replied to me that she was pretty busy and to wait because she was doing everything in there. I couldn't believe what was going on!. Once at the bar she requested our IDs, didn't know at all how to make the drinks we asked for and offered us beers. My companion was so pissed that he wanted to leave but I told him "NO!, that stupid girl is not messing up my day" and I paid for the beers that were kind of expensive ($10 each) for a bottled beer that wasn't even cold enough!!. We went to bowl for an hr that we didn't enjoy at all, ate some of the nasty nachos that girl sold to us and left the rest, drank the beers and just left with no intentions of going back, ever again!!. The place itself looks dirty and with that type of staff they making sure of losing all their customers; GOOD JOB!!!. On the other hand I guess it's the owners fault for not hiring enough people. It's a great place to have fun, whether you are bowling alone or with others. I'd typically bowl 4 games on either a Sunday or Saturday and it's flat-out fun. The machines are easy to use and, of course, the lanes are well-maintained. I have bowled in leagues, or with others in open bowling, and it's fun, especially for the money spent. THE BARTENDER THAT COULDN'T: We came here Thursday evening and had a nice time with my family. At $20 per person with unlimited pizza and bowling it was a great deal BUT here comes the part that sucked. My husband and I stopped by the bar to get a drink and this female worker there who claimed to had bar tendered in Vegas had a pissy attitude about having to serve us drinks and told us she would have to charge us an additional fee for any "new" bottle that wasn't opened. She didn't know how to make a Kamikaze. I asked for a Margarita and she ran out of the Jose Cuervo Tequila then charged me $2 extra for Patron. When I told her why should I have to pay $2 extra when running out she said "well I already poured it in." To add insult to injury I got charged $12 for a 6 oz cup and when I mentioned the size of the cup and the price she says "those are the only cups we have." That sucks... because when we got our pizza we also got a pitcher of soda and that came with 16oz cups. This place is literally tucked in away in the middle of nowhere. But it's nice. They do have a bar, a couple of pool tables and lots of lanes to bowl. It's kinda no frills but it's great! The staff are extremely nice and it's pretty cheap compared to other places. If you bowl early it's $6 per game and after 4pm, I think, it's $7 per game. Shoe rental is free and you can't beat that with a stick. I like this place a lot. Haven't really tried it in the evening, but supposedly according to the staff it has a nice adult vibe.
