Popped in here for a quick bite before we hit the Hudson River Museum. I'm new to New York and this place had the initiate, small town vibes I'm used to growing up in the South. A few people came in and out while we dined and everyone seemed to be friends. It was really cute. The restaurant was clean, our server (mature woman with an Irish accent) was so so sweet and upbeat. My partner ordered coffee and at first she told us the machine wasn't working, but a little while later she sent one of the workers across the street to fetch some. I got the fish and chips and my partner got the 3 egg omelette, where you also get to pick 3 fillings. The food was prepared fresh and came out nice and hot. The prices were great too, I think we both ate for around $40. I wanted to take advantage of the $6 brunch mimosas, but they had a sign up saying that they only accept New York IDs. Had a family "outing here". Great take Irish bar, including our waitress and staff, which had both had a great brogue. I wish I could give them five stars, but the food was ordinary, not awful, but certainly not outstanding. Ordered the Rueben sandwich in an Irish bar figuring it would be OK. Furthest from the truth - sandwich meat was inedible - actually took the food out of my mouth to not digest it. Atmosphere can be OK but you can't tell before you walk in - and then when you walk in its aggressive, crowded and mean spirited. Service is same way - runs hot or cold. Some staff is OK but others are really mean and obnoxious. Food is overrated. read more

It was a light crowd so our server directed my friend and I to a table for 4 so we could be more comfortable and have space for our purses - very thoughtful and very much appreciated! Ambiance: 10/10 well kept and clean establishment (plus a clean ladies room which is always appreciated) we had to shoo away a couple of flies since we sat near an open window so perhaps a screen addition would help the breeze come in whole keeping those flies out. Everything was hot and tasty and the dumpling and marinara sauces were yummy. The potato skins were baked wonderfully but not seasoned so it was missing a bit of the salty and savory elements. FIRST AND FOREMOST SHOUT OUT to the entire STAFF especially my waitress very friendly and attentive. The service is always PROFESSIONAL. I have always found myself at this establishment due to my deep impenetrable cravings. Today I'll be honest I was craving a specific meal at YONKERS BREWERY; but due to the crazy shenanigans that was happening at that restaurant I found myself traveling a few feet next door FRANCEY BRADY..(NOTHING AGAINST YONKERS BREWERY!!! I repeat NOTHING AGAINST YONKERS BREWERY ) back to my FRANCEY BRADY REVIEW... So.... I found myself deep in my thoughts at Francey Brady, extremely "HANGRY" after the crazy shenanigans next door. I literally felt I can eat the entire dinner menu from FRANCEY Brady's due to my ultimatum appetite. But was I was craving more, what my heart my soul desired, what my stomach was telling me. My stomach said "Andrew make sure you get your damn chicken sandwich or wrap" and make sure you have an extra side of two chipotle mayo side sauces. Below I attached two photos of my meal yesterday and my dessert from another occasion (I believe it was a day after Father's Day). Even though I substituted the bun for the wrap with my blacked chicken sandwich which made it a bit soggy and wet... I definitely enjoyed my meal. I like alil extra wet, creamy saucey sandwich especially with crunchy warm French fries.... THE CONDIMENTS ARE DEFINITELY IMPORTANT WITH every meal. I had the pleasure of having the same waitress so service was and is forever professional and friendly. So she didn't give me a hard time with customizing my orders at all. Even when the place is loud and busy I find the service to still be professional and on point. Bathroom is clean, never had any dirty silverware. Plenty of napkins. I don't ever feel like I walked into sweaty armpits . Just because it's a bar doesn't mean it has to be a crazy college drunken hot mess. But I will say this I've had my good and bad experience at this establishment eons ago, but I don't think it will affect the relationship between me and this business. Arrived with a group of monolingual Spanish speakers who ordered dishes from their native lands (incl. quesadillas) and not (salmon sandwich, meat wrap, regular burger as they were out of the Beyond Burger). Everyone really liked their food, and some even had portions we wrapped to take home. I ordered the Veggie, which was okay: I've had better veggie burgers but the guac addition was more plentiful than I'd usually be served in NYC, so it felt festive and generous. They had metal condiment containers for the ketchup they served! Woot! One thing I'd say, we were a BIPOC crowd and were stared at by the white male crowd at the bar as we came in. I can't understand how people frequent this place of undercover hate. Having dinner with a city worker who told me that they received horrible service from the owner. My friend whom is Latin felt the owner was rude and talked about my friend for what she asked for. But when someone let my friend know she was being talked about by the owner. Visited Francine Brady's for a client lunch at the clients recommendation and it did not disappoint! Located right in downtown Yonkers Francey Brady's reminds me of the Irish pubs I would visit in NYC in my college years. This is the type of place where everyone knows each other and the minute you enter you are family. The music, even in the early afternoon, seemed to be a mix of fun rock and ska hits. I visited on a Thursday and sat downstairs. There were a few scattered people at the bar and what seemed like maybe a party, or a few tables upstairs. Service was quick, and my lunch special of buffalo chicken salad was delicious and spicy enough to leave tears in my eyes. SO GOOD! Called at 2pm on 1/24 to ask what the soup of the day was. A lady, who was rude picked up the phone and I couldn't understand what soup she was saying. When I told her that i wasn't understanding her she rudely hung the phone up. I called back and asked for her name and asked her Why she hung up the phone on me. She then asked for my name and told me that she didn't hang up but the phone died (which clearly was a lie). I asked for her name again and she said she was the bartender and she's not giving me her name because they don't give their names over the phone. I wouldn't recommend this place. I've only been to Yonkers a handful of times and this was a great bar to go to for brunch. The brunch menu was plentiful and they serve $4 mimosas!! There is an option for 2-hour bottomless mimosas for $15 with an entree. Loved the staff here. Super low key, helpful and cheerful. The mimosas weren't strong but tasty. I ordered bangers and mash which I LOVED and I got to try the omelette, bacon and French toast. All were delish! If you find yourself in the area for brunch stop by for a bite and enjoy some sports on the screens. I hear the burgers here are delicious so I'll be back in the near future to try it out. read more

We called them Sunday morning to found if we had to make a reservation for brunch. They said there were several tables outside to sit at and took our reservation. We arrived around 12:30pm and were seated outside. The tables inside and outside were socially distant. The waitress was very attentive and brought our drinks quickly. Our food came out and was delicious. I have an egg allergy so it was nice that there were options available I could enjoy for brunch. The frosé was great! Our waitress said it was her first day but she was awesome and very attentive. My friends and I hadn't seen each other in a long time so we chatted for hours and there was no rush for us to leave. Hubbs and I were in the area and stumbled across this place when we were through with our errands. Hubby actually noticed their brunch sign through the window of the post office while I was addressing my envelopes. We decided to walk on over and try their brunch since we were starved. We grabbed a seat at the bar since it looked like most of their tables were taken and all that were left were cocktail tables. Those high tables always make me feel as though I'm teetering so I was happy with the bar stools. The bartender was attentive. She came up and greeted us as soon as we sat down, offered us menus and took our drink orders. Despite her efficiency, we did not feel rushed. We ordered from the brunch menu and I opted for the Shrimp Wrap which came with fries and Hubby got the Brady's Burger w/Fries, cooked to temp, which tells you they have fresh burgers, not frozen...always a plus. I had a couple of Mimosas, which are included with the brunch menu for $3 each, along with Bloody Mary's. Hubbs had their twisted tea/Limon drink since be doesn't do champagne or bloodies. The food was very good. I was a little surprised because I've been turned off by some of the restaurants in this area. I'm happy to see that there are more places opening up that actually care about their product and service. Definitely worth a return visit. read more

Honestly has become my go to spot to watch a game and get some bar food. The wings and onion rings are my go to. I never have to wait long to get asked if I need anything and my drink refilled. Today was my first time in this bar. The service and food was good. They had a good vibe but what pissed me off was there was a party sitting across from my table and one of the guess was spitting into his glass. When the waiter address him he said why are they complaining its my glass and the waiter follows by saying its ok we was the glasses out, he should have thrown out. I dont know what kind of home training they have mind you he is sitting right by the bathroom and a door that leads to outside yet he was spitting in his glass cup that the waiter said its ok because they was the dishes. First of all I cant say enough good about this business. The place is trendy, well decorated, and has a warm welcoming vibe. Located very close to.the waterfront and full of daily amazing delicious dinner specials not to mention the Regular menu. The flat iron steak is mouth watering and the chicken scarp is beyond delicious Drink specials are on point and the music playing puts you in a good happy mood . I went to this restaurant on 3/23/2022. Just to unwind and catch up with old friends. We sat down waited for our waitress. It was the end of happy hour around 6:45pm. When the waitress came to take our order she was very dismissive and rude. It was asked if they served frozen drinks and was told"it's March we don't have frozen drinks it not June or July". Her delivery was nasty!It was said to the waitress okay there are other restaurants in the area that serves frozen drinks. Thats when she really got nasty , she put her hand up and said anyway and turned away to talk to my other friend. When she was called out on her delivery. She still didn't apologize to the person I was with. Fast forward to when the owner came to address the problem. She was not apologetic. She said it 3 sides to a story. The waitress, the person I was with and the truth. What happened to customer is right? Especially this night. Myself and my people just wanted to unwind after a long day after work and felt out of the restaurants by the waterfront this one was the best. Now, I will never step foot back in here. Instead of the owner apologizing she has been running around talking about the other review that was left on here. Then wrote a message to my friend and said she couldn't say anything without coming off offensive. She better off apologizing because the person is a really nice person and well known in his community. Horrible experience. During a visit to catch up with some friends. I arrived early and was there for 10 minutes and was ignored by the wait staff. No one stopped by to ask me if I wanted something or anything. This is a small establishment and friendly service would have made a huge difference. Then when someone came over after my party arrived,the staff was very rude to my friend and they felt uncomfortable and discriminated against by the waitstaff. The staff never apologized but ran off upset because they addressed the rudeness they felt. The comments made by waitress were uncalled for and plain rude! The owner came over and ask about the situation and instead of being impartial, I feel she made the situation worse she didn't apologize, she didn't offer a free drink, she stated there are 3 sides to a story implying that she didn't care about ours. My husband and I love it here. It is a cute little pub in downtown Yonkers and just steps away from our apartment. It is definitely our go-to place when we don't want to go back to the city after a long day at work and we usually bring our friends with us who are regulars as well. They have a decent bar and offer comfort food with a variety of things to choose from. We usually get the "Brady's Burger" and fries, but the "Sliced NY Strip Steak" salad won't disappoint you as well! The employees are above and beyond and the bartenders know their drinks. We have never had a bad experience and love the atmosphere. If you are a regular, the bartender already knows your drinks, which makes you want to come back again and again as there are very few places like this around anymore. The owner is lovely too, and we always feel extremely welcomed. They always offer some kind of special and have a live DJ on some nights. New Irish pub near the Yonkers Waterfront. It's in the old Tyrone House and they really did a nice job of renovating the place. It's really nice and brighter in there. It's a more welcoming feel. They have a nice new wood bar, high tops and a room in the back. There also looks like an upstairs, but I only sat at the bar. The bar has a few flat screens and a really nice look. They have a few beers on tap and some bottles, as well as a full bar. I decided on the Fat Tire Ale. It's a good beer and the tap worked well, it was chilled and perfect. The menu looked really good. I decided on a burger, because well a new place I like to try the burger. I find if you screw up a burger, how can you make anything else? I got the Francey's Fix which is a burger with bacon, an egg and cheese as well as lettuce, tomato and onion on a brioche bun. It came with crispy fries. The burger was wonderful. Great food and service! Best chicken pot pie ever! Their cappuccino was definitely the best I have had in such a long time...beats any of the coffee shops I have gone to in recent times.
