Great atmosphere. I enjoyed the food and drinks. The highlight of my evening was listening to the DJ and bowling.

I attended for our employee summer event, and our team had such a great time. I have to give a major shoutout to Filipe (I hope I'm spelling his name correctly). He and his team took such great care of us and he was incredibly friendly throughout the event. Honestly, I would come back just because of the amazing service he provided. The food was great as well. We had pre-selected menu items that included signature wings, tenderloin sliders, Margherita and pepperoni flatbreads, Caprese sliders, feta and spinach stuffed phyllo, and pesto chicken skewers. Everything was flavorful and definitely hit the spot after some friendly competition with my coworkers. Pinstripes has a lot to offer, and I'll definitely be back. They have so many events happening, from happy hours to Music Bingo, and I believe they also host live bands. Whether you're looking for a fun night out, great food or a place to bring a group, Pinstripes is worth checking out! Highly recommend!

Single player here and not looking to join a league, but let me share my experience with this store. Jim and Mike were working. I had already had a price in my head with what I wanted to spend. They offer a package deal for around $170, but because I wanted a little better ball, I was able to upgrade for a little more. My finger measurements were accurate, I was in and out in less than an hour. But I really enjoyed talking to these two gentlemen. They aren't trying to upsell you with stuff you don't need. They have a passion for bowling and it shows. If you think you can get a better deal on Amazon, you are wrong. You won't get the service that you would at the store. You would still have to bring your ball in for them to drill, so whatever you think you saved, you would actually he in the negative with all costs combined. This store has everything a bowler needs! Not to mention the experience and dedication that Jim and Mike showed me. There is a reason customers make long drives to come here. They offer great hours and are usually closed only on Sundays, but check for holidays as they might close also. The only small downside is the parking lot is tight and not a lot of spots, but with the service, who cares? Another small thing, they didn't send me home with a shoe box, a bowling bowl box and the bowling bag wasn't in plastic. Everything was put together for me, like I could head right to the bowling alley. I'll only use this shop for my bowling needs! Thanks Jim and Mike !

    White House Bowling Alley

    White House Bowling Alley

For the history nerds, there are two bowling alleys on The White House campus. The one this refers…read moreto is the Truman Bowling Alley. It was once inside the actual White House, but was moved to the Old Executive Office Building in 1955. (The original room that housed it is now the Situation Room.) There is still a bowling alley inside the actual White House, but that was built as a single-lane bowling alley in the 1970s under the Nixon Administration. The Nixon Bowling Alley isn't accessible to more White House staff, but the Truman Bowling Alley is! If you get the coveted invitation to the Truman Bowling Alley, go! Like all White House visits, you'll need to fill out a form beforehand that will get you past two security areas. (The second is like going through airport security.) The Truman Bowling Alley is in the basement of the Old Executive Office Building with clearly marked signs. Once in the basement, you'll walk through a no-frills hallway that feels more like a Cold War-era bunker. Step inside the bowling alley into a small kitchenette area with a display telling the Truman Bowling Alley's history. There's a wall of shoes for bowlers with a spray bottle to disinfect the shoes before putting them back. The back room is where you'll find two bowling lanes with one area with all kinds of balls and two electronic boards to input each bowlers' names and for keeping score. There are TV screens on the wall nearby that call out spares, strikes, etc. You can even take a photo of your group from the screen that is projected onto the TV screen. The room has photos of U.S. Presidents and guests bowling throughout the decades and a few seats along the side. The space is pretty tight. The lanes themselves come with pins attached to strings. It's a nice, fun, and special bowling alley. If you get invited, more meetings to go!

I made a reservation however, I was running a little behind but fortunately they were still able to seat me. Next, the waiter came over and took our drink orders. He was very nice, and attentive. It really seemed like he enjoyed his job. So that was nice. For drinks we ordered the mimosas. Unfortunately, it is not bottomless but we still enjoyed them. If you order the mimosas you get a bottle of champagne with orange, grapefruit, and cranberry juice on the side and a cup of fruit. It was a very nice presentation. We decided to partake in the brunch buffet which was delicious. All the items were cooked to perfection, and hot to serve. They offered many options from waffles to grilled chicken and pizza. I particularly enjoyed the chicken and waffles as well as the roast beef and mac n cheese. They also offered a variety of desserts that were tasty as well. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and not too expensive considering everything that brunch includes. I'd definitely go back. If you are in the Pike and Rose area I suggest you check it out. Cheers!

They have a massive selection of…read moregames, including a lot of really interesting Japanese style prize machines that were super fun and offered a unique challenge compared to standard claw machines (though they have plenty of the typical claw machines too). The Japanese style prize machines were definitely harder to win prizes from, but if you enjoy the challenge you'll find them very fun. They had some interesting games too that you don't typically see anymore, like an Initial D racing game and a ton of DDR machines. The arcade was very clean, and the staff was incredible. Super friendly, helpful, and constantly resetting and restocking the machines. Every staff member I interacted with was great and really on top of things. With all of that said, the biggest downside and the reason I will not be back is the cost. The games require a lot of credits per play, and many of them have extremely short playtimes, so you burn through your card extremely fast without even feeling like you've played much at all. This is especially true if you are trying for the plush prizes, since even the tiny keychain size plush machines come out to about $2.50 a play and only seem to payout every 2-3 tries. Even if you don't necessarily care about winning prizes the whole experience was so disappointing because it felt like we were blowing through our credits with barely any time to play since most of the games are incredibly short. Plenty of the games give you less than a minute of play time and cost $3-$4 to play. If you do care about prizes, the ticket redemption prize situation is pretty disappointing as well. The ticket costs for prizes are incredibly high, even after my husband hit a jackpot for 300 tickets we could barely afford anything at the gift shop. The ticket prize shop was huge, but when a tiny foam play sword costs 610 tickets it wasn't even fun to look through all of the potential winnings. Prizes weren't our main motivation for having an arcade date night, but when we were already feeling bummed from the lack of play time we actually got it really just felt like the icing on a terrible cake.
