Why is there not a zero stars option? I would rate this place zero stars. The name of this place has changed a number of times, but no improvements have been made. This place is extremely outdated and dirty. It's just disgusting. You walk in to find the carpeting of the steps extremely worn down and peeling off at the sides, as it is everywhere else in the building. You walk in to see a big window overseeing the room of inflatables. This facility hosts parties and sports events. We were there for a birthday party and the party rooms are downstairs. To get to the party rooms, you walk down the stairs to a filthy hallway with disgusting turf carpeting and muggy air. I'm sure this facility has a long list of health violations. List of cons: - The restrooms are located inside of grungy looking locker rooms, so you pose the risk of having your child seeing people changing - There is no supervision in the inflatables room. Parents are responsible for their own kids - There is no system to ensure that kids leave with their parents. Anyone can walk out with your kids - My kid wandered into the sporting facility area of the lower level and fell into a rain puddle that resulted from a leaky ceiling - There are random puddles in the inflatables room from leaky ceilings (read: MOLD!) - The air in the lower level can be quite muggy during warmer months of the year (read: MOLD!) - There were buckets catching the leaking water from the ceiling at various places of the facility (I saw them on two separate visits) - Outdoor parking can be limited, depending on what other events are being held there on the same day List of pros: - No time limitation (but why would you want to stay here?) - I assume that it's cheaper here - Outside food is permitted for parties hosted here Although I hate this place, kids don't seem bothered by the filthiness of this place and seem to have a lot of fun. read more

I came here for a friend's birthday party several weekends ago and found this place to be at the BOTTOM OF THE LIST of kids indoor play area category in Virginia. The place is very much run down, filthy and gym locker rooms are used as bathroom for children!!! They have showers in the bathroom. hahahaha. I don't know about you but I don't want my kids going in there to use the bathroom and accidentally seeing nude people in the lockers. Looks like this place used to be some sort of gym that they attempted to convert over to a kids play area. Doesn't look right and feel right as the room was intended and design for other purpose other than a kids play area. It doesn't look like they had safety for the children in mind and everything looks old and dirty. Like they decided to blatantly throw together some cheap inflatables and try to copy other more successful children's play area like Bubble Bounce, Fight, Rebounderz, Monkey Joe's, etc. As mentioned, they did not have children in mind for their "party place". In addition to throwing together some inflatables in an old gym/sports complex NOT intended for young children, they have this constant crowd of people that comes into the building to play soccer and other sports as the building runs other activities. I see kids during their birthday events getting mixed and lost with the sporting event crowd. With no signs of security or atleast someone checking in the people, I can potentially see some safety related issues. And the Parking. Don't get me started on Parking. We had to park across the street about a quarter a mile away at some other parking lot, carrying two toddlers back to the party place. This place seems to do too many things at once and their parking lot is full due to sporting events held there, while the parents of parties end up parking somewhere else risking oncoming traffic and towing of cars. I would rather spend my hard earned money and drive a little further away to businesses that have their environment set up for young children in mind and for their safety. IT'S WORTH IT! Somewhere where it's meant for children such as Kid Junction, Pump It Up, SkyZone etc. I can't put a price on peace of mind as the safety of my children is at the top of my priority. I will NOT be coming back. read more

Pros: Kids love it and its a lot of fun for them. Cons: This is more for the parents who care about these details. Building super outdated. There is ZERO staff supervision. (I've asked the "manager" and I get the same answer each time that other staff are helping host birthday parties) There are children who run up the slides and bounce/jump from one inflatable to the next over toppling other children. There are no rules its all free game. Reason why I come back to this place is because of the price, open play all the time and my child has fun. We're in there 1 hour max. I go over safety with my child and I watch her follow them. (We've gone to pump it up many times and so those are the "rules" we go by) The way I view this place is as if I was taking my child to a public playground where other parents are responsible for their own children which we ALL know how that can be. If your pondering about going I would give it a chance and see for yourself. I personally wouldn't take a child 0-3 maybe even 4. One last thing the staff at the front desk are "high school-ish" but my first time encounter one gal was very helpful and then the other times it's in between. read more

Disgusting all around. I don't even know how this place is still open and doesn't have safety violations against them! I've gone here a few times for a birthday party at the bounce area. The county really needs to get involved and look over this facility twice before having it even open anymore. There is absolutely no management or working staff around here on the weekends even. How can you charge people for a birthday party event and not actually have working staff in the building! The walls in the party room are physically cracking and falling apart, filled with mildew and mold. The carpet is filthy!!! The bathrooms are shared with locker rooms with other adults in the area. The entire gym stinks of mold. Who is managing this place even?????! read more

The concept behind this place is great - pay only for any child over 2 ($9), for all-you-can-bounce! But the logistics are a nightmare!! Very little parking - some have to park across the busy road with no crosswalk, others a half mile away and wait for a bus - and NO access for strollers or those with mobility issues. You have to go up 2 flights of stairs to get in, and then back down two to get to the bounce floor. I was told to go back outside and enter through a "side door" for access for my littlest one. I'm not a germaphobe at all, but the bathrooms were disgusting (only two stalls in the women's, but 5 showers!), and the place was covered with what appeared to be the old carpet from the gym that came before it - no hand sanitizer or cleaning stations, and no evidence of the bounce slides/houses being cleaned. We washed our hands next to an employee who scalded her hands from the faucet though... Especially during winter, and in light of all the recent mess about measles, etc. - it's a breeding ground! read more

DAMAGED AND UNSAFE EQUIPMENT. The huge inflatable with the two long slides down has almost a full length tear in the side-seam on left side. Have seen several smaller/lighter kids, including mine, get their foot stuck in there while sliding and get off wailing and holding their foot. Luckily "just" got a painful burn and no serious injury. The inflatable soccer ball shaped bounce house has a huge tear along the lower seam of one of the windows. Serious hazard and big enough for a toddler to tumble through. No attendants on the floor. We're probably not coming back, for these reasons. On the good side, they recently re-positioned these inflatables to allow more room and avoid queues for kids in front of one thing or the other. The small/toddler (under 5) section is better positioned and the items stay inflated. The damaged equipment needs to be repaired ASAP or replaced and they need to put at least one attendant on the floor, if only to make sure the bigger kids don't run roughshod over the smaller ones as they bounce and slide. This place has great potential if they do that. read more

The pros: Very large and top-of-the-line inflatables with really, really fast tall slides. A ton of fun. The staff was *incredibly* nice, all around, from the high school-ish kids who were very interactive with the kids to the manager who let us know we could come back later in the day if we had time, too (the price was for any time that day). The cons are that there's only 3 inflatables--but again, they're huge, and while my 3 year old loved the giant slides, I can imagine some younger children may not and they'd be relegated to just the one giant soccer ball bounce. Which is still cool, but just limited. The facility as a whole has seen better days cosmetically, but that didn't affect our enjoyment so I didn't dock it any stars. I could imagine others having a snot reaction, though. Overall, I think I'd normally give the place 4 stars for the lack of variety but it goes back up to 5 because the staff was awesome. read more

This used to be a go to spot for my son who's 4 years old and he used to love it! Recently (over the past year or so) it has gone down hill quick. A lot of the inflatable toys are broken and very unsafe for children to play on. Some of them were even torn which I brought up to management but they still have not address the issue. I've seen multiple kids fall off of these inflatable houses and got hurt really bad. On top of that, there used to be a staff to watch the kids while they played but now there is no one watching all the kids while they play which makes it very dangerous! I would not recommend this place even though I threw my son a birthday party here when he was 3. Again, it was a lot different then and I would not throw a party or let him play there now. There are plenty of places that are similar and a lot safer then Kid's Choice. It's a shame they let this place go down hill so fast because there was a lot of potential with this kids gym. I would rather drive a little further to another place and know that my son will be safe in that environment. read more

place seemed very old and run down - i was bit worried about my child's safety as i dont think there are enough folks watching and monitoring. Also the equipment seems worn out and has child had skin burn from the slide. Might check out the St James as that just opened up. read more

Great slides and a lot of fun for my 4 year old, but the place is absolutely filthy. It has been years since the bathrooms were cleaned and they may want to consider running a vacuum cleaner in there. The staff is nice and friendly, but I am quite concerned about the cleanliness of the place, enough to probably not return. read more

Recently had a kids birthday party there. It was great and the kids had a lot of fun. They're trying to be not your typical bounce house place, where kids go on bounces for an hour, then eat pizza and cake and go home. They have party hosts who will do games with kids, balloon animals and similar. And the party hosts are absolutely wonderful, nice, enthusiastic! Everybody at that place was great, easy to deal with, friendly and they tried their hardest to please the kids and offer a customized party. They will also let them go back on the bounces after pizza and cake have been consumed and some more games played. Really appreciate that they could burn off the consumed sugar/carbs. I hope their plans work out in making that place even better.. Highly recommend them! read more

The attendant downstairs was great. However, the two staff members at the front desk need to be honest with customers since admission fee is $9 for a 10 year old. They charged my friend $10 on 2 occasions and did not give receipt. Very dishonest. Make sure you get a receipt to avoid being overcharged. read more

I had my son's birthday party there today. He had a wonderful time in the bounce room but the great thing about it is the staff. They were wonderful with the kids making animal ballons and playing games with them ...etc...Worth every penny. They took care of everything down to the Skylanders decorations ! We did not have to do a thing. They even helped us carry the presents out to the car. Awesome ! read more

Loved this place! It is a hidden gem in the area for indoor fun. We brought our 2 1/2 year old and she LOVED it. Price was very reasonable $9 on weekends for 1 1/2 hours of bouncing fun. They had 3 large inflatables including moon bounce and 2 with slides. Very fast and fun. GREAT attendants, everyone was so nice and enthusiastic. Parents are also allowed on large inflatables to slide down with your child if you have little ones. Definitely will be going back! read more

We had a great time at a kids birthday party. My four year old was absolutely loving every minute of it - bouncing from one of the super large inflatables to another. There were many friendly and responsive staff members on hand. I thought it was particularly nice that they took the time to speak to each individual child and find out exactly what they needed in terms of drinks for the party and other stuff they requested. They even went to get my son a pair of socks so he could get on the inflatables, which I hadn't realized was necessary. There's plenty of space at the facility and we didn't feel like we were being pushed and pulled into a tight schedule, the staff had a good light but well controlled touch with the group. A great afternoon of fun and my son slept well that evening! read more
