I forgot to take pictures when I came here with friends, but overall, we had a blast! This bowling alley makes me very nostalgic because of its retro vibes. Nothing too fancy, and the machines are not very advanced, but you can still bowl and have a fun time. I really enjoyed my time at this bowling alley! It was clean, spacious, and the bowling balls were labelled and sorted by weight which made things very efficient. They have a bowling league here so half of the lanes were taken up by that but that still left plenty of space for people who were coming in just to bowl for fun. As one of the few places in St. Louis with a Pro Shop, I came here to purchase a new pair of bowling shoes and bowling ball. The shoes were in stock, but the ball had to be ordered. It only took 4 business days turn around time to come in. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient as I browsed the selection and asked questions. Additionally, I bowled a few games here and enjoyed the experience as well. The lanes and the atmosphere are updated and clean. I felt very safe and enjoyed my time. read more

Service was not good and they were snippy. Pins wouldn't comeback up and wasted a bunch of our time that we paid $350 for 2 hours for 10 people and the balls stank. The Tv above to say who's turn it was kept skipping and inaccurately counting. Would not recommend. Not a good family experience. Service took around 25 minutes for a pretzel and cheese and the cheese tasted like plastic and was chunky. $10 margaritas that tasted like juice. Bathrooms were gross and the door was propped open to the women's and men were standing right outside. The latches for the bathroom were breaking off and the end stall wouldn't lock at all I didn't feel comfortable going to the bathroom. read more

Attended an informal birthday party here where everyone payed their for their own bowling. We arrived right when they opened at noon and we asked the lady working what the price was to bowl. She said $6.95 per person per game and said that we paid at the end. She didn't mention anything about shoes being over $5 per person, she just asked us what sizes we needed. We bowled two games total (we had two toddlers with us that bowled the second game on their own), and I was shocked when our total was over $75. This place is easily double to price of any bowling alley in the area and the service is terrible. We order a large order of fries, some mozzarella sticks and one soda and it was $21 and took 50 minutes to receive our food and the "large" fries were a joke for the $9 price. It's no wonder that they have you pay after the fact, because half of the people would walk out if they knew how much it actually cost beforehand. read more

I was happy to have a Groupon to use for this updated Bowlero which used to be Brunswick Bowl. I was looking forward to using the Groupon, when the person working here said Groupons can't be used after 6pm? and they were kind of rude about it. I did not see that in the fine print until after we were already at the bowling alley. I asked and was thankful that they still let me use it anyway. Once again, these guys knocked it out of the park. Our church group was bigger than we expected. They never flinched; they handled our kids with speed and precision. We were perfectly taken care of Lexie, Amanda, Brooklyn and the rest of the staff. Drinks never ran dry, we got in and out flawlessly, and they were all so kind. I came here with a group of friends on March 16th around 10 pm and no one was at the counter when we came in. It took least 10-15 minutes for someone to help us get a lane and shoes. When we get to our lane (which was lane 37) we started choosing our bowling balls and started chocking on the smell of burning rubber. We had to fan ourselves with the menus at the tables to breathe and it took them at least 20 minutes before they actually did something. After they checked the lanes, the one causing the smell and was our lane (the machine that returns your balls). We were then moved to lane 36 right next to a group that was already playing and we were forced to share their lane. It felt like they were cramping us in one spot when there were multiple other lanes they could've moved us to. Not to mention throughout the whole night we could see the smoke and continue to inhale the smoke making it hard to breathe and giving us all headaches, even the next day. After this traumatic night, their way of "apologizing" to us was to give us an EXPIRED coupon for 2 free hours of unlimited bowling for up to 5 people the next time we come. Which will never happen because we're never coming back to this establishment. If you want to go to a bowlero, please go to the one in Saint Peters if you want a good time. read more

You have to wait 2 hours for your food and you're greeted with bad attitudes, oh and if you have a problem with your lane not working they will ignore you until it's time for you to leave. The lady at check in is just vile for lack of a better word and the bartender is not to far behind with his attitude. Awful service. They had two registers but only opened one while two employees stood around, despite the long line. They charged us double what they did last time we went for the same number of games and people. Claimed we should be charged per game per person (so despite the fact we played 3 games we were charged for 6) but upfront they only said shoes per person and game (like the last time we went). Not only that but the bowling lane also kept counting extra pins and then none other times. Other lanes stopped functioning all together. The ladies bathroom had a broken toilet and a broken stall so only 2/4 toilets were usable. Just go somewhere else. Not worth it to play 3 games with 2 people for $48. read more

This is my 3rd Bowlero I have visited and it was just as fun as the others. Great selection of arcade games for kids and even adults. Sunday and Tuesday have an arcade special which is a great deal. We often buy Groupons for Bowlero as well. read more

Prices are absolutely ridiculous. Nearly $7 per game per person, and $5 something for shoes. I took my 4 boys last night since we were nearby and thought we should try it out since we had never been to this particular alley before. Me and the older 3 played 3 games, and the youngest boy played 1 game. That added up to be over $130 after everything was said and done. At my normal bowling alley, even with Friday night prices, it would have only been $80 for all of us to play. I wouldn't be making this review if it was only a couple dollars difference, but $50 seems significant enough. I can't afford to ever come back here again with my boys. read more

I guess they are under new management and raised their prices to over $7 a game charging 4 young boys over $100 to bowl. My boys have gone many times to bowl here and never paid that much. Since they decided to raise their prices they should make it cllear how much it will Cost before they allow kids to bowl and then expect them to pay $102 for 3 games of bowling. Not impressed. Apparently this is under new ownership. The prices were very expensive and our lane messed up a handful of times. Eventually we had to switch lanes and they didn't even let us start a new game. After all of that we weren't offered a discount or even a "sorry". We just had my son's 7th Birthday party at Bowlero. We had three lanes for 18 boys and everything was great. They were so accommodating. They kept the water and soda coming and I never had to ask for refills. The package included plenty of pizza and they provided all of the plates/utensils. Our server was so attentive and the manager was so wonderful he even offered an adult beverage for my husband and I on him. Overall we had a wonderful experience. Last Sunday 7 of us went to Bowlero Chesterfield to have a few beverages, get something to eat and bowl. We went into the lounge. An employee was walking out but said she would be back in a few. We were there for about 10 minutes and she returned. However, she went directly to 2 other people who had entered the lounge. My husband went up and asked if the lounge was actually open since the bar was covered with dirty dishes. He was told yes and then the employee returned to the 2 people who entered after us. Well, after about another 5 minutes, we decided they really didn't want our business and left. You can bet we will never be back ... Drinks, 7 meals and 7 sets of bowling ... I guess they don't need the business. read more

Bowl in a league here. Was pretty great as Brunswick. Once Bowlero took over, fees went up and experience went downhill. The pin setters malfunction far more often than they ever have and at least half a dozen teams had to switch lanes one week due to issues. Service has gone downhill as well. As Brunswick, the server would visit the lanes early and often. The current server has visited our lane maybe 4 times in the 10 weeks we have been there this session. They replaced all of the tables with smaller tables, so there is far less room for 4 people to sit, let alone more. I rarely leave reviews, but I feel the rapid decline of this alley has warranted one. Save your money until management gets their act together (if they ever will). We won't be bowling in a league here again. read more
