Service was impeccable. We were attended by two servers as one was in training and shadowing the main server. All the servers appeared to be in college. Not that this is a problem, just something that we all noticed. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and attentive. We could not have asked for better service. Food was top notch. We started with several appetizers. The calamari was delicious! We also got the brussel sprouts which were not at all spicy as indicated on the menu which was just fine with us. Unfortunately, I can't remember the third dish and the menu is not on the website. For our main meal, I got a small bite of my friend's salmon and it was perfectly done. It's so hard to get seafood and steaks right. After just having dried salmon at a local chain restaurant, I so wished I had also ordered the salmon. I did, however, order the filet mignon as suggested by my friends. I was looking for a doneness of medium (my usual order). It was an absolute perfection of color and juiceness. I felt like I was in heaven with each bite. I was also allowed to substitute the potatoes with extra green veggies (broccoli). The husband ordered the flank steak with potatoes and broccoli. He also thoroughly enjoyed his meal. It was a generous portion that very rarely does he say that he was quite filled. We passed on desserts as we had planned to have them at our friends' home. Perhaps another time. The location was quite convenient for us. It was less than a 30 minute drive from Montgomery County. Glenwood is in Howard County. There was plenty of parking and we got a brief look of the grounds. It was just beautiful with lush greens even in December. I can see why our friends are members.

Also, when I played before we had the objective that our team had to get from one side to the other. Here it was to get as many people out as possible. I like the former.

While I did not dine here, they do have other items then seafood on the menu like burgers, cheesesteaks, hot dogs, tacos, and quesadillas. The arcade uses quarters with change machines available. Pinball machines line the outside of the room with the interior having several rows of arcade cabinets. Machines were almost all in good condition with only a few having issues or being down. They have a good mix of pinball machines including both newer and older options. Many were set to only be .50 to play. Pinball machines that caught my eye included Johnny Mnemonic, Fish Tales, High Speed, The Simpsons 1990, and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. I was impressed with the Spy Hunter machine, as it was challenging. Other arcade machines that stood out included Arkanoid, Operation Wolf, several Mortal Kombat versions, and a Rush 2049 sit-down driving cabinet. Make sure to plan enough time to enjoy this arcade, I sadly only had 45 minutes but made the most of it. Crabtowne USA's arcade is a fun time and is absolutely worth a visit.

They have three bounce houses and a toy section for two and under. The bounce houses are old but still in working condition. The best part was honestly the staff. Usually when I visit places for open play the staff does not interact a lot or they just talk to each other. The girls working on Black Friday were very attentive. We were there with two other boys but they kept an eye on everyone. I have a 4 year old and a two year old. When one wanted my attention the staff watched the other one. It was great. I would definitely recommend if you need to go some where to burn the kiddos energy. Check out groupon. 5 visits for $25. I did have to pay tax $2.50. No big deal. Each visit will give you two hours. The reason I prefer to come to this one is because there are more miners at this show instead of jewelers. The fairground indoor space is limited with restrooms both inside and outside. And 1 food stand open most of the time that sells burgers and hotdogs, very limited options and not the best of deal for $8 . Parking has always been an issue for this fairground hence the grass area are normally open to parking options. However, after the rain it always creates a very nasty situation. Definitely fun to visit during events, just be aware of the conditions.

I spoke with Demitira and she was delightful; she assured me that she we would have the tables and linen we needed. It was absolutely beautiful! What I was not told is the following. The person onsite, I believe her name was Pat approach my caterer and my DJ not me the point of contact and told them to shut everything down at 4:00 pm. I understand that the last hour was the cleanup. I don't understand why we could not listen to music for 30 minutes why we cleaned up. When I approached her, her response was, "Per the contract everyone must leave other than those that are part of the cleanup, and the music must be shut off." I made an announcement to 130 guests about the above-mentioned statement from the person onsite, that they must leave... Please understand that was a 130-guests last experience with Diamondz. We don't have to leave but you have to get out of here!!! 130 people will not return to your event space!
