Fun times were had at Bowlero Sawmill! This is a huge bowling alley, and while it was crowded, we were able to secure a lane right away. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the shoe attendant and given shoes immediately. They had a limited selection of food (think burgers, chicken tenders, and soft pretzels) but we didn't have anything. They also had fountain drinks available for purchase but we again opted out. We were told that outside food or drink wouldn't be allowed so keep that in mind during your visit. As for the atmosphere, it was fairly energetic. Music was playing and there were TVs on the back wall. The lanes appeared to be well maintained (although I didn't do great- lol) and the score board was easy to figure out. This bowling alley had been called AMF Lanes back in the day. They underwent change of name to Bowlero. Kept mostly all of AMF Sawmill Lanes looks. You pay for as many games as you want. They have food there if you want it. Think beers, pizza, etc. If you need special accommodations for kids with bumpers contact the staff members. Otherwise you will play without the bumpers. Who wants me to challenge them now? Not going to get started on how many bowling trophies I have from back in the day. So if your not looking to challenge me to a game of bowling. We booked a little party for about 10-11 kids at Bowlero to celebrate their elementary school graduation. The host and the staff working at bowlero were awesome. They made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us every so often to ensure we were doing okay. The kids had a blast bowling and of course enjoyed the arcade games they had. One of them managed to win a PS4 before leaving so all in all everyone had an amazing time and their party packages are reasonably priced. read more

I've visited Bowlero twice now and had a good experience both times! We were easily able to get a lane on both a Friday and Sunday night. Everything seems well-kept, and the staff is very friendly, even when we got a pin stuck and they had to come help us. You're able to order food and drinks using the screen at your lane, and they bring it out to you. My advice is to order food & drinks as soon as you start bowling because it does take a while for the food to come out. They also have a small arcade, and a lot of the deals they run include some credits in the arcade. If you're going to play the kung-fu panda game, make sure you're ready to hit hard! This place is the worst. Staff refuses to seve from the snack bar and were rude. Food looked overpriced and underwhelming. The lanes were so slick I hardly wanted to touch the ball there was so much on it. I will not be back. There are sooo many better places than this to bowl at in the Columbus area. read more

Had really bad first experience with these guys. They refused service to us because they said our friend with a speech problem was drunk. We had purchased a pizza and soda. I don't even drink alcohol! But my wife wanted something and they didn't even speak to her before getting spicy with me Im in shock they let people like this so called general manager work there. Our friend left crying and he thought it was funny. It's not funny we had to leave 15 minutes after getting there. It's not funny how much they charge and they are very unprofessional. They refunded the pizza and soda but refused to refund the game. The GM need to be fired for this behavior and I will be following up. read more

My girlfriend's daughter took us there my GF's birthday. It was a very good evening. We bowled, had food and drinks and good fun. The food was fine though one of the orders wasn't brought out with the others. We cancelled the order but the manager brought out the food anyway and on the house. The staff overall couldn't have been friendlier. It was our first visit here in many years and first since it became Bowlero. We will definitely return. read more

Their computer servers were not working that people could not make purchases on food and drinks, but have pitchers of water in concession area. They are not open that early, but had the State Summer Games for Special Olympics Ohio event that day. Bowlero Columbus did serve a great lunch with Cheese Pizza, Chicken Tenders, and Fries. The drink was regular Pepsi, they should have had Diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew, and few other Pepsi products. The food was delicious anyway. My favorite part was seeing Stromie's Pro Shop and has been there since it was AMF Sawmill Lanes. Stromie's Pro Shop is open for all your bowling needs and instruction. Hopefully, the snafus with their computer servers does not happen again. I will check out Bowlero Columbus again soon to bowl for fun. read more

TL:DR Do not come here. The manager is extremely rude and doesnt follow Bowlero's own terms. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. We came here a year ago and we were able to merge our cards to get big prizes. We had a lot of fun. It was not the same this year. We got around 2k tickets on our collective cards and we were going to merge them like we did last year, but the manager refused, and said they never did that. I told her it said so on the website, as I saw it about 3 years ago when we first came and merged our cards, but my family was really tired and my toddler was having a meltdown. We had to leave without redeeming any of our points and our family was extremely disappointed. The worst part is, the manager was being EXTREMELY rude to us throughout the whole thing. She said, "If you can find where it is on the website, I will gladly merge them for you." in a mocking tone of voice. She then proceeded to turn to her coworker and openly talk about us and our situation while laughing and grinning ear to ear. This manager was an absolutely horrible person and I will never be returning as long as she is in charge. read more

This place was extremely over priced and cost our family 500 dollars for 2 hours of bowling and food. No alcoholic drinks were purchased and for bowling only with shoes for those two hours was $300 dollars . The venue was dark and loud and the food was subpar. Such a fun visit! We made a reservation online and were given our lane and shoes right away. We ordered food, which was not bad for a bowling alley. A few rounds into our game we decided to add the bumpers and they were happy to oblige. We are from out of town and this was a great spot to hang out with the family and bowl! read more

I'm going to start by saying I love this bowling alley. I've been a league multiple years now and have very much enjoyed myself. I've grown frustrated this fall league with multiple changes. First off, the year-over-year prices have increased 14%, $22 to $25 per person per night. On top of that league bowlers receive less value in alcohol - no longer allowed buckets and can only have domestic pitchers. On top of that, the bowling alley no longer subscribes to Amazon prime, so no longer are you watching the football game on Thursday. Two things. First, inflation of 14% is incredibly frustrating. What's even more frustrating is a 14% increase with a decrease in customer experience. WHY DO BUSINESSES CONTINUE TO CHARGE MORE, TAKE AWAY FROM THE CUSTOMER AND EXPECT TO STAY IN BUSINESS? I hope this place can figure it out because they do have very good food, a clean bowling alley and great staff. Maybe they need a reminder they aren't the only place to bowl in Columbus. read more
