Purchased a home that needed fumigation. I was contacted in June by a Nanz (sp?) from the Maui office. Every time I talked to her, her tone made it sound like I was bothering her. Bowman was hired by the seller of my new home to fumigate. I was in contact with Bowman office representatives including Nanz to orchestrate the entire process. I was supposed to be able to go back to the home any time after 6 pm the following day of the fumigation. I arrived and found that the sign for fumigation was still up on the front door and the tubing leading out of the garage was still there. It was evident that they were not finished on time. No one was there and I was unable to reach anyone as their office was closed so I had to make arrangements for my family to find another place to stay at the last minute. I called this morning to find out what was going on. I finally got in touch with Alvin who told me that someone (a worker) had indeed cleared the home for us to return. (Obviously not in the timeframe they told me). He also told me that the worker was not able to get in contact with the seller's agent. I explained that I had been in contact with their office for over a month and there was no reason for them to call the seller's agent, I was the point of contact. I could not believe they did not have my information and they left the house key under the mat. Everybody knows that's the first place to look for a spare key. I'm dumbfounded. No one offered to reimburse me for having to make other arrangements to sleep somewhere else, no one apologized for not having the correct contact information and Alvin did not seem to think it was problematic that the house key was left under the mat! Terrible service. Don't waste your time or money. read more

I would not recommend working with any company that has such low respect for customers and who cannot or will not correct their errors. After months of attempting to get scheduled the company finally did an inspection. It took so long because they lost my phone messages and misplaced the request from the inspector as well. Anyway, I completed all of the preparation for treatment including dog and cat boarding, booking a hotel for the night, packing up the entire kitchen food and medications, trimming bushes, moving house plants etc. The arrangements took two days. When the workers arrived they refused to do the work because they did not like the position of the dirt at the back deck. The inspector did not tell me that I had to dig dirt away from the back deck. Nonetheless, I agreed to pay extra for dirt removal if they could reschedule me on the next working day, Monday. The person who does the treatment blamed the inspector and the office staff was totally confused and could not understand the need to make accommodations for me as a customer and did not schedule an appointment within a period of time that worked. Their attitude.... well its just too bad for you... we can ask other customers to give up their spot ...it is not my fault....it is the inspectors fault and we are not responsible etc....also because I complained they got their feelings hurt. Besides being extremely expensive for regular home treatments, this company refuses to arrive on the set days they agreed upon during initial sign up. They call either the day before or the day of that they are going to arrive which is not the day agreed upon (I work, can't be home at the drop of a hat). They communicate poorly and customer service is non existent. Move on they are incredibly unprofessional. read more

Termite inspection thorough. Jay arrived promptly to do estimation and prepping instructions prior to tenting. Very disappointed with the end results. After fumigation was completed I returned to do a walk through, lock up my home and was very upset to find front walk way muddy and shoe prints on carpet. My home was cleaned, carpet shampooed prior to tenting. I had to have carpet cleaners to shampoo carpet again. Being that home is in escrow. At least have respect for others home and wear shoe covering of remove shoes. read more

We have used Bowman Termite and Pest Management for years. We are very satisfied with their services. They are very responsive when we find any evidence of termites. Their tenting warranty works great. They respected our concerns about pesticides and treated our little fire ant problem with Tango. Last month, I was constantly bitten under the Macadamia nut tree and blamed that tree. The technician, Leka, figured out that the ants were in the bush next to it, treated it, and now I can collect the nuts without being bitten. We will continue using Bowman. read more

Initially called Bowman in January 2021 for estimate on termite fumigation because we had to replace beams in our roof full of live termites. Technician came & recommended Sentricon instead. He said need treat for ground termites. I thought it would also treat the ones eating up my house. In November 2021 found out from our tenant who lives in the house there are termite droppings. Called Bowman to ask if Sentricon supposed to get rid of termites in the house, I was told it's for ground termites. Asked to have an estimate for tent fumigation (this the 2nd time), they said technician be out. Made arrangements with our tenants, who works, to be at the house in case technician need to enter. I didn't get a response from Bowman for 3 weeks. When I followed up with a phone call, I was told the technician did go to the house..........to check the Sentricon bait stations! Like it wasn't a big deal she asks, "would you like to make an appointment for the technician to do an estimate for the fumigation?" read more
