Unfortunately, about 6, maybe 7 months ago, we noticed a stain on the couch, so we called, and at the advice, we did nothing; we didn't want to make it worse. The insurance company we dealt with was the worst; we would call and send them pictures by email, but nothing. At first, Sundeen wanted to avoid getting involved, but after some conversations, they agreed to reach out and intervene with the insurance company. To shorten a very, very long lousy experience story, we ended up with no help, no cleaning, no replacement, nothing. We now have a dried-on stain, and we're looking for a new couch; not at Sundeen, we're looking elsewhere now. It would have just been cleaned out if we had just attempted to clean it when fresh. We tried to do the right thing and not touch and got burnt. Sundeen has lost a loyal customer over this; by all means, buy their furniture, but do not fall for the sales pitch on the protective coating and insurance. We were high and dry by both Sundeen and the insurance company. Bad form, Sundeen, bad form.

I contacted Jerry and through a somewhat heated discussion, he explained that we put the bed together incorrectly. I explained that we were never told that there was a top and bottom to the slats. Surfice it to say after talking to Jerry and taking the bed apart we did follow his guidance and put the bed together the correct way without having to hire someone to repair the bed. He also explained that we should not be moving the bed without disassembling it (removing the mattress and box spring) because the mattress and box spring are very heavy. This seems a bit of an ordeal that every time we need to move the bed to clean under it we have to move a very heavy mattress and box spring which is really too heavy for us to move. Let this be a tale of caution, be sure to get written instructions and/or a picture of how to put the bed together.

They offered us $200. of accessories that we did not want and was told that we needed to read the minuscule fine print. No where in the store did it say some exclusions apply. Very disappointing. Been making purchases here for 40 years. maybe not any longer.

Many of these items, if found at DWR or CB@ might be tagged at $6,000 or more, but here you can get an awesome sofa for around $1200-$1500, which is unheard of in this design style. I got the bungee chair for around $200, the same price I would have paid for an ugly, overstuffed desk chair at office depot or something. Location is less than desireable, but everything is "45 minutes" away in Massachusetts. It's to bad hanna b. had such a miserable experience, but the owners were really nice to us. I would set up my own delivery service probably, and stick to the seating like chairs, ottomans, sofas, lounges, etc., instead of wardrobes and stuff. They even wrote us a thank you note in an email after they saw our blog post about how much we liked their store. If you can only afford $2000 or less on a sofa, and love modern style, this is really the only place to go, maybe in all of New England. make sure you set your emergency brake in their sloped parking lot, though. and don't forget to check out the basement for some more hidden gems.

It took seven weeks to…read morehave it built (yes, they custom build their stuff!) so no matter how you look at it, they're either busy, or take time to do the job right...both very good qualities to look for. It was delivered a couple of weeks ago, and the delivery guys were great! They were able to drop it exactly where I had hoped they would. Only comment I'd make here is that the salesman claimed that it would be leveled (as long as my prepared site was within 6" of level), but the delivery guys didn't even check if it was level before leaving. No big deal if your site is well prepared, but something you may want to be sure to follow up with if your site isn't perfect and level is important. But what really impressed me was the quality of the workmanship. 3/4" flooring, support studs 12" on center, is pretty solid for parking a yard tractor in. And the walls were straight and plumb, with accurately spaced 16" centerline studs, useful for "standard" Home Depot or Lowes garage organizers. All full 2" x 4" lumber. And the paint job, windows, doors, etc were all flawless. I was so impressed with the quality of the job they did that I've ordered a Pavilion Gazebo to go along with the rest of my backyard remodel. I'd driven by the Sutton store hundreds of times on my way to/from work, and was always impressed with the samples in their yard. I'm happy I finally stopped in to closely inspect their offerings!! I would highly recommend Skips for your next project.
