BE CAREFUL PATRONIZING THIS SHOP!! As a customer of this business many times over the years I can say that you should choose your time to visit carefully. There is one partner, Asian man, incredibly nice and helpful. His partner though (owner #2), I think Armenian man, SCAM ARTIST! BEWARE! Times are tough for everyone and inflation is already high, the last thing a small business should be doing is gouging and hustling your customers. Today I brought guitar box in to ship. Owner #2 measures the box and quoted $16 more than Fed-Ex directly. Guy claims is due to the measurements of the box, so I showed him how the person at fed-ex measured it down the longest straight side of the box. This guy measures the box across at an angle to get a longer # so the price is higher, likely to adjust it once exited the shop to keep the difference. I explained to the guy I had been there multiple times which he could clearly see in his system as he looked me up to start the shipping quote. Guy starts arguing with me about how he measures for 35yrs and tells me "you're not my customer" when I explain I am the customer being charged and it's obvious how to measure the box... how rude this guy is. I'm clearly in your system and it doesn't matter if I am 'your customer' in your eyes or not, how packages are measured is clear common sense. As you see me as "not your customer", don't worry I won't be back. Beware of these scammy practices. 35yrs in business guys... it's time to retire and turn the business over to less jaded not such grumpy old men. read more

DO NOT PACK/SEND ARTWORK HERE. I had close to 20 prints packed here. I was assured the packaging would protect the artwork but most have arrived damaged - packing was way too thin to protect them from being bent. I now have to resend multiple prints and cover those costs myself. When I finally got in touch with Andy, he denied all responsibility and blamed it all on USPS. Literally the worst customer experience ever from a small business. These people are trash. Charged a fee to log and track a USPS package that I dropped off on Monday. I didn't understand the fee because I had already paid for a pre-paid cable with USPS that came with tracking. I was in a hurry so I decided to pay the fee so that I could just get it done. Two days later USPS has not scanned or received the package. I contacted Boxes to Go to inquire when my packaged would be sent or picked up by the post office. The response was they are not responsible for pick up times and cannot track the package. I explained that I paid a fee for the logging and tracking of my package and was told that fee does not track the package. That fee was for their "lying customers who always accuse them of stealing packages" and that they don't actually have or guarantee any tracking capabilities. I mentioned that that information was never explained or conveyed and that I just wanted to know when my package would be sent to the post office. Immediately the man began yelling and screaming through the phone and I was told not to come back or patronize the business in the future because my questions were annoying and problematic. Confused, I asked why that was the response when I'm simply and respectfully inquiring about a package I left in their are and paid an extra fee for them to "log and track". The man continued to shout over me with nasty rebuttals before saying he's busy with another customer, don't come or call back, and then he promptly hung up the phone. I called back because after all of that, he never answered my question about my package and was promptly hung up on again! Made a third phonemail and got no answer. He was so mean to me, for no reason, that I had a breakdown and cried while trying to understand why a small business owner would be so nasty to polite paying customer. USPS has still not scanned my package or marked it as received on their end. This is ridiculous. Now I have to drive there tomorrow to request a definitive answer or get my package back. Do not patronize this business. Read the reviews that aren't from their friends and family. These people are trash. I cannot believe a small business is behaving like this during a pandemic. A small business that provides an essential service at that. I am a small business owner and I am disgusted to share community with these people. Their behavior makes me think that they actually do steal packages from their customers. Again, do not patronize this business. Save yourself the time, money, and energy and go to the post office. I strolled into UPS with a box that needed to go inside a box for a return. Finding a box or a suitable container wasn't going to happen at UPS as slim pickings were on offer. So down the road I went to that little shop I keep seeing with the red and white stack of boxes out front saying 'We sell boxes'. Worst customer service ever. I needed a box. Alfredo closed the back gates early so I couldn't park there so I needed to park on the street so I only brown guy in one of the items as I couldn't carry the other one. I said that I need the box to fit this item plus a show box. I explained this to him 10 times and then he brought me a box the size of a shoe box. I have been using this business for a couple of years now. I started because I needed to ship some artwork and wanted someplace close to me. I can tell you that was one of the best discoveries I have made in L.A.! Andy is a pleasure to work with and explained all the options I had to ship my artwork and the price was great (I had called the various shipping companies so I had ballpark idea of the cost) and Andy hit it out of the park! Of course shipping original fine art that can not be replaced all over the world requires extra careful packing and that's where Noel comes into the picture. The man's packages are a work of art themselves! I have customers comment consistently about the quality of the packing and they are impressed when they receive their package. Andy and Noel make me look good when one of my customers receives their package in perfect condition and that gives them confidence to buy from me again. I attempted to purchase a certified mail letter. He wanted to charge me $6.50 for certifying a letter. I simply stated that that price seemed excessive. He grew belligerent and disgustingly rude. I told this horrible man to not talk to me like that. And he waved me out the store. I live close to this store and Please now you have lost a customer for life. Wow! All hail! Customer service is not dead. Its just nestled in a little building at the intersection of Fairfax and Willoughby.. Box2Go is a pack and mail type place. Its basic facade and rows of atypical boxes line the room, and give one the impression of sameness. This is where the story takes a turn. Now I go rolling up in there with a couple odd shaped and expensive mountain bike parts that are being sent to Colorado to get "Pushed". Now I am going to go out on the limb and say the lovely and very helpful woman working the store, has never had to send something like this. But without hesitation bubble wrap is flying around, packing tape being dispensed at a rate seldom seen by humans. Amid the mayhem she asks me, "Is this for bicycle". "Yes it is and expensive, can you please give it a good wrapping". Well hot damn if she didn't wrap my stuff like it was her own. I don't think it shipped from the original factory in that good of packaging. She chose an over sized box so she could fill it with a bunch of little air bags. She folds the box shut and tapes that baby up like Fort Knox. If my parts got damaged during transit it sure wasn't when it was headed to Colorado. On my receipt was the company web address and tracking number so I could easily see the status on my package. Now the whole time the woman running the store was happy, didn't hate her job, was happy to take care of my parts with no disdain that I am putting her out or something. REFRESHING! This customer service thing. I hope it catches on. Oh ya. The price for this whole ordeal, $14.67! Are you kidding me less then 15 bucks! Customer service and inexpensive! Bring in a large box, already labeled, already taped - $1.00 large item fee. Bring in a small box (cell phone sized), already labeled, already taped - $1.00 drop off fee, which the guy at the desk tried to pass off as some sort of loss insurance fee. I brought a package here to ship and the price they quoted me (for the cheapest option) was so high I thought 'This can't be right'. They brought it down a bit, and they were very nice and helpful, and I needed to ship the package asap so I just went with it. They did say that the price would be the same at an official FedEx place. With the discount, it was about $35 to ship a 6x6x24 7lb box to Sedgwick, KS (ebay sale). I thought it would be around $15, and that's what I charged the buyer, so I was disappointed. Anyway, I just went onto the FedEx site to check the cost I paid, and I inputed all the necessary info (dimensions, weight, zip code to ship from and to). And I was quoted at about $16 for the cheapest option! The guy I talked to did say that the area I was shipping to was remote, and added $5 extra because of special delivery to that area, but even if you add that, the cost would still be $21ish, not $35ish that I paid. SO pretty much I was scammed. They charged me more than twice the true price, and lied to my face. Look at the other reviews - they are literally running a scam and charging far more than they should. This business needs to be investigated. read more

If you are looking for a terrific box and ship store you do not need to look any where else. They have great prices and really know what they are doing. I have sent many people there as well as using them myself. They are friendly and helpful. If you need a lot of boxes they will deliver for free. Or you can bring your items to them and they will pack them for you, often even throwing in additional bubble wrap and tape at no additional charge. At Christmastime I use them as Santa Claus to deliver all my presents to my family on the East Coast . I have done this about 10 times and everything has always arrived on time and in perfect condition. read more

Yeah...As the person said before, they charge you $1 for each package you drop off that is already pre-labeled for UPS. Is that even legal? They said it was for tracking, but honestly, I think tracking already comes with UPS' pricing. Anyway, I didn't feel like going anywhere else since I was already there and paid the couple dollars.
