The owner pulled this small box out of the trash can in the lobby and demanded I throw it away in dumpster in the back parking lot. Douche.

He is a douche. He stated he would refund me for the three months I prepaid and then refused. I moved on after we had a very spirited discussion about his request for me to take my small card box that is approximately 3"x3" to the dumpster in the back. I have attached a photo to the business profile for reference. Apparently the empty trash can that I threw it in was not meant for mail refuse even though it is a mailbox center. I refused to do it and walked out of the store. The douche then followed me outside and yelled at me demanding that I take this small box out to the dumpster in the back. He literally pulled the small box out of the trash can, followed me out onto the sidewalk and was demanding that I do as I was told. Ummm, no. It is small and the trash can was empty. He then stated he was closing my box and would refund the three months I just paid in advance. That was late January 2017, no refund. I contacted the douche today and he stated he would mail the refund out immediately and was going to hang up. I asked if he needed my mailing address to do this, BUSTED. He had no intention of following through with his legally binding oral contract with me. I provided him my mailing address with the caveat if not received by March 20, I would sue for what was owed plus punitive damages and I hung up. I will keep this review updated.

Cheapest notary and mailboxes around! Always willing to help, and their shipping rates are lower than the UPS Store and Kinkos/FedEx! A+++ But what really made me a customer for life is the time I dropped my wallet in the store and within a few days the owner of the shop shipped it to my house at his own expense. Everything was still in my wallet include $700 I'm cash!

Great service. Glad I found a nice neighborhood place to ship my packages :) very nice people thank you! These are the hours.

great local place to get everything done! Printing fees were a bit high though. Good option to have if USPS is closed.

A shopping box was not required. It only cost was my time to walk from my office. The male employee was neutral, friendly enough haha.

I came to this Staples for something simple -- envelopes. Just envelopes. Not toner, not a new printer, not a 20-minute lecture from a self-checkout machine. And somehow, miraculously, it was fast, friendly, and on sale. Walked in, asked for envelopes, and an employee actually walked me to them. Not the "it's in aisle somewhere-between-3-and-God-knows" treatment -- actual customer service like it's 1998. Envelopes were sturdy, sleek, and honestly nicer than some apartments in this city. Straight seams, clean glue lines -- you can tell someone in the stationery department still believes in excellence. They were on sale. Real sale. Not that "we raised the price last week and pretended to lower it" kind of deal. I left feeling like I beat the system -- which in L.A. is better than therapy. Quick, easy, friendly, and priced right. Staples Wilshire runs like a well-oiled copy machine -- smooth, efficient, and weirdly satisfying. If all errands felt this good, I'd run more of them. Came for envelopes, left believing in customer service again.

Even when I had a 'real' job, rarely did we fax. I was one of those who was convinced 'nobody faxes', or perhaps I just didn't have that right kind of job. What brought me in today was something to be sent to Verizon of all places; funny they didn't accept texts messages of documents over the phone but I figured FedEx would be the place to help. There was a small line for the counter, and while looking around, I found the fax area. Going over the directions seemed simple enough, but I didn't want to waste my money in case I made a mistake. Finally one of the guys freed up behind the counter, and he was able to walk me through the process. I'm glad he explained there was a hold on my card before it cleared for the actual cost. Within minutes, I received a text/call stating that Verizon had received my faxed document. Parking lot outside; one entry for in and out. Can't complain; came in for what I needed and it was an easy five minutes. Thanks to the helpful staff I've had on the few visits I've had. Actually stopped by the FedEx within my hotel in Nevada earlier in the week, and the price to fax was higher than here, which I suppose makes sense due to the convenience. Glad I waited to do this when I was back in town.

Walk into most UPS stores in America and you know the drill: beige walls, overworked staff, and a…read moreline of people clutching Amazon returns like they're waiting for absolution. You don't expect hospitality, you expect survival. But then there's this one -- 5482 Wilshire Blvd -- where the experience doesn't just defy expectations, it obliterates them. We came in for something simple: a notary service. One of those routine, mundane tasks that usually makes you feel like a cog in the bureaucratic machine. Instead, what we got was service so good it felt like stepping into an alternate reality. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like royalty. Not the fake kind where they smile while rushing you out the door, but genuine, thoughtful, attentive service. Every step was explained clearly, every detail handled with care. We weren't just customers; we were guests. The kind of care that makes you forget you're in a UPS store at all and instead makes you feel like you've stumbled into a five-star concierge desk disguised as a shipping counter. The Details: * The notary process? Seamless. Professional, efficient, no second-guessing. * The atmosphere? Calm, organized, and cool -- a small oasis in the chaos of Wilshire Blvd. * The staff? This is the real kicker. They carried themselves with the kind of quiet confidence that says, "We've got you. Don't worry." And they delivered. - AND THIS--the value and speed was unparalleled. We walked out of there and paid a fair price. Service so good, it felt less like shipping and more like being knighted. They didn't just stamp paper, they stamped trust. This review isn't solicited. Nobody asked for it, nobody hinted at it. We left this store and felt compelled to write it down because service this good deserves to be recognized. In a city where most places grind you down to get through the day, this UPS store lifted us up. So here it is FIVE STARS. Not just for getting the job done, but for making a simple errand feel like an experience. We walked in needing a notary, and we walked out reminded that professionalism and kindness still exist -- even on Wilshire, even at a UPS store. WINNING.
