Bald male with tattoos on his arms is a goofball. I arrived to the location with about 30 packages with pre-paid shipping labels inside large black bags to keep everything together. I usually just ask where I should place these packages with pre-paid labels to make the transaction a quick drop off since I don't need the receipt. Instead, this guy greets me with: UPS employee: What's this? Me: numerous packages with pre-paid labels. Just need to drop them off. UPS employee: In a bag?! Me: Why yes, there's a lot of separate packages in here. UPS employee: open the bag.... He then proceeds to have me pass the packages one by one and scans them thus defeating the purpose of creating pre-paid shipping labels and the ease of dropping a ready to go package off. Not to mention his rude tone. Other UPS locations I frequent are always so kind and welcoming. Not this location, except the older lady who is always very sweet. Please make sure your employees don't act like douchebags just because they don't want to work and be proper during that shift. read more

I had an "afterhours" accident, my provider had just left for the weekend and my devices were soaked. After a few calls to local offices i was directed to ACRO where I was greated by a sympathetic employee who offered to have my devices dried for free as a courtesy. I would hve had to wait at least 3 days and pay out of pocket for a service I cant afford otherwise . Acro may have saved my 10k dollar devices and they didn't ask for a dime. If I wasnt on contract with my current provider i would switch for the customer service alone read more

This is the second time I've been to this store and the staff have been rude and unhelpful, I tried to return an item to Amazon and was told I had pulled up a Whole Foods code. And then he walked off . When I asked for help, he said he didn't know where to find it. Again, I asked for help and asked if I was the first person to make this error. He said "no, this is what I tell everyone." Earlier this week, I had gone to get a package which according to the delivery note was at the store. The same guy scanned my note and said it wasn't at the store and I needed to call customer service. Without any further insight he said "where's your phone?" I asked him to write the number down. Luckily the call center was far more helpful than this staff and guy will ever be. I'll never use this store again. And don't recommend it when staff can't be bothered. read more

This may be the best UPS in America, thanks to its courteous and effective staff. Unlike what can happen in other corporate chain stores, they seem to take genuine pride in their work. Merchants need to know that this store has staff charging people 2.28 for a single 8.5x11 copy. Im not even going to explain the incompetency todays staff portrayed, but i will let the manager handle that. Okay this review is getting 4 starts because the people at the ups center in downtown LA we're nothing but remarkable. However the customer care line operators were nothing but a nightmare. A couple accommodated my concerns and stress from prior operators but I was cursed at by the. Insulted by them. Threatened by the deliver driver. Clean, well-organized little UPS location where you can get a lot done. I was there during COVID lockdown and they were maintaining social distancing and mask requirements. Staff is efficient. I wasn't knocked out by their friendliness but with everyone wearing a mask, sometimes it's hard to tell. Parking at this location can be quite difficult. There are meters right in front but often UPS trucks are in front of them (imagine!) or the bus or the inevitable Lyft/Uber drivers stopping wherever they please... this store is located at a very busy intersection. read more

Location is convenient and shipping options are fine, but The only notary public there needs to have better/more convenient hours.

I've had a mailbox with them for over a year, haven't had any problems. Sometimes there's a line, but it's hollywood it's a busy area of course there will be lines during rush. Normally there's only 1 person in like tho. The price of a mailbox is a bit high but also I guess it's Hollywood. They've always been helpful. Never had anything lost. I would say it's more of a locals small business than a big corporate place so yeah they aren't gonna treat you like it's Applebees. read more

These guys are nice and accommodating and do a good job. The only problem as that you have to ask them a lot of questions before you place an order with these guys. They will nickel and dime you in both directions to make cash. Not upfront and not honest. I don't plan on giving them anymore business in the future, even though they have a convenient location to my house. read more

BEWARE!!! They have stolen a number of my Amazon returns. They purposely work slow so there will be a long line.... Then their scheme is to tell you to leave the return slip and box/package open so they can scan the barcode etc. and you can leave you items and theyll take care of the rest. They sure took care of my amazon return, amazon never received my items. It was about $180 worth of items. The employees here are THIEVES. read more

Not sure about how everybody else interacts with people but my experience is always been good at this location they treat you well you're fast efficient they know what they're doing and a great attitude. If I had to go to any local UPS store he is down I would save my meal to the next morning and drop it off with them know that they will take care of me there are a lot of UPS stores in the LA area in the downtown LA area that are no-good. . read more

I was this UPS location's regular customer until today. Their manager charged me $6 for printing 2 papers. $6 will not make me or this UPS rich. I got very angry because he said I used their computer like 15minute.. WTF? I could only use it like 4-5 minutes to print 2 papers... The worst service experience in USA!!!!! I visited this UPS store this week to deliver some things for work and was very happy with my visit. In case you need to print labels they have printers available, just be sure to bring a flash drive with your labels you can order from UPS's website. The staff was very helpful in showing me how to use the printers and provided me with plenty of plastic label casings to put on my boxes. They also let me borrow their dolly since I had a car full of boxes. They require you to wear masks when entering and is somewhat of a smallish space. They have shipping supplies you can buy, which is nice since the other UPS store doesn't have much of selection. Parking is a little challenging since Santa Monica Blvd could be a nightmare. Be sure to meter park on the residential street parallel to La Brea. At times there's parking right out front if you are lucky. read more

Thankful they're open today but the guy behind the counter openly condemned me for coming in with the pandemic chaos currently happening. Mind you I had a mask and gloves, as did he. I think my eyes were the only part of my body showing. It was appalling to hear him openly question and criticize my choice from bringing Amazon returns. I explained that it is the end of the return window and there is a lot of money involved however he said, "I don't care how much money were involved, you are irresponsible. If it were up to me I would definitely not come out to jeopardize public healthy for just Amazon returns. This is senseless. I'm here because I have to be." After which he turned to his co-worked with a smug look seeking approval. First of all I have no symptoms or sickness of any kind. I fully realize that doesn't mean I'm not still carrying the virus. I've read everything written about this pandemic. I've been locked in my apartment for the last three weeks. Even if I was sick I'm wearing so much protective gear that we could be 6 inches apart and the other person could not get sick. This jerk publicly judged and ridiculed me for returning items that I wanted my money back for before it was too late! Amazon is that I'll shipping the stuff. You're open to return them. It's ignorant mental attitudes like this that perpetuate the problems happening in this country. This is my favorite UPS Store. The owner/manager of this location hires good staff that is solution oriented, attentive, & kind. They're honest, direct, communicative & go out of their way to help customers. They're the type of team that says "let me find out for you" instead of "I don't know." I've had quite a few encounters with various staff going above and beyond in little ways that exceed my customer service expectations. Stopped by to return a UPS package since it didn't belong to me, and the female manager "Shay" (?) has the audacity to passive aggressively insinuate that I had opened or tampered with the package, and thus they couldn't return to sender (wtf) and that they can't do anything (and still accepted it nonetheless after I wrote return to sender). With the exception of one guy, Eric, the staff here at this location are complete assholes. The heavyset white guy is an arrogant asshole and so is the tall black guy with tattoos. They're so insanely rude and mean. Eric is the only nice and professional one that actually helps. Also, randomly, after years of going, they are just now charging to print the label on top of an additional service fee. Was renting a mailbox for a while now there. I get shipments there and Amazon's deliveries. Amazon drivers, for some strange reason, at times drop their packages to the building, not to the UPS store, even when address correctly states it should be delivered to the UPS store. This is an issue that the employees expressed to me over time. However, they normally just go upstairs, they actually have a key to the mail room, and they get the packages down, as agreed between the UPS Store and the building. It's an inconvenience for me and for them, but it's part of their job. One afternoon I showed up to pick my deliveries, I stood in line, then was called by "Zeppo". I told her I had some packages to pick. Zeppo snapped at me...saying nonsense that the Amazon deliveries going upstairs are my fault...that I need to talk to Amazon and make them deliver correctly. Mind you, when I spoke later to Eric the Mgr and the owner, they bother said that they've been trying to get Amazon drivers to deliver correctly for over a yr, but they are new and make mistakes. Zeppi was literally out of her mind, blaming me for her needing to go up, where other workers had never an issue with that as it's their responsibility. When I asked her if it's my fault, she replied "yes"! She went as far as threatening that my mail/packages will not be delivered to me. In the meantime people in line behind got upset with me, las they were istening to her insane accusations and delusions..it seemed to them that I was holding the line -- when in actuality I was just getting my packages from the rented mailbox, a service I pay for.. it needs to be said that there was another employee, "Zach", who was always helpful doing his job, including getting the deliveries from upstairs mailroom or wherever. That day, he sided with the crazed Zeppi. I contacted Eric the Mgr and told him Tue story. He said he will look into it and get back to me. When he called me back, he already spoke to both Zeppi and Zach. He apologized and said that it is their responsibility to get the packages from upstairs, even if the Amazon drivers drop it at the upstairs mailroom, not the downstairs UPS Store; and that they were having this issue with the Amazon drivers for over a yr; and that Zeppi should have been blaming me for all that as it is not my fault. I also got a call from the owner, ".Zorick". He seemed less outraged by his employees behavior, in fact, he was defending her...saying things to the effect of she had a bad day and such...I asked for at least an apology from her, but he seemed somewhat upset because of my request, said he cannot make her apologize and what're to end the call short. He mentioned that he will credit me a few weeks if I renewed my mailbox. Well, I did renew it, but there was no credit. When I spoke to Eric the manager about that, he said that he spoke to Zorick the owner and that he said that there is no way to credit me, the system doesn't permit it. So, why would he offer it in the 1st place??? How DISHONEST can you get? Im yet to send this to UPS Corporate office The reply of store 6606 below is a LIE! this issue hasn't been taken care of...the employee never apologized to me; and the owner, Zorick, never gave the few weeks of mailbox service he promised, he never even called back when I inquired about with us manager, Erick! read more

CUSTOMER BEWARE - DO NOT TRUST THIS UPS STORE WITH ANYTHING VALUABLE / IMPORTANT!!! If you are reading this because you are planning ahead, save yourself the headache and go elsewhere! The convenient location is not worth the trouble! I've foolishly put up with repeatedly careless service from this store due to location convenience. I have dropped-off dozens of USPS, UPS, and DHL packages here over the past few years. Based on how carelessly serious mistakes are handled, I will not step foot in this place again. Previously, I've had two USPS packages go missing. A "refused" UPS package sat there for weeks, despite repeat assurances from Reni that it was picked-up. On another day, Reni told me their driver doesn't like picking up "refused" packages, and they should be re-labeled. This isn't UPS policy. Recently, I learned Reni mistakenly handed my $458 DHL merchandise return to their UPS driver, and it went missing for about 3 weeks. The news of my lost package came after I sat waiting and listening to another customer complain to Michelle that his valuable eBay sale shipment was missing. For weeks, my package was nowhere to be found by anyone, until I wrote an email advising the owner Zorick Parsanian of an imminent lawsuit. Within 2 days of doing that, my package was safely on its way in the DHL tracking system, even though it was already outside the merchant's return timeframe of 28 days. Zorick never bothered to get in touch to let me know it was found. Before that, I had to spend two hours at the Sheriff's Department to file a lost property report needed for an Amex insurance claim (ultimately denied). The employees were initially unapologetic and cavalier about losing my package. Despite Michelle's repeated assurance that my package was FOR SURE picked up by DHL, I only learned of the error after pressing her to check the security footage. I had to be very persistent to ascertain what happened from these irresponsible employees. Michelle has no business giving customers false assurances she has no personal knowledge of. Had I listened to her and left, I probably would never have found my package. The employees seemed clueless and more concerned with being left alone than anything else. Reni wanted all the credit in the world for being honest about his mistake, because he kept reminding me how lucky I was he was honest. In spite of the honesty he wanted a gold star for, he neglected to take common sense and meaningful steps to locate my package, until I insisted he get in touch with UPS. All he wanted to do was casually wait and ask their driver about it during the next pick-up. He even foolishly told me they are not responsible for lost DHL packages, because they are courtesy drop-offs with no receipts given. He had the audacity to admit to personally having a hand in losing my package, and then ignorantly claimed they would not be responsible! He argued at length with me about his liability in the matter, and needlessly made a bad situation so much worse. Days later, Zorick spoke to me and apologized. He made excuses for his "millennial" employees and signed a letter supporting my Amex insurance claim. He seemed to have been more interested in relying on my Amex insurance claim being paid, than doing anything to locate my package. After my claim was denied, he expected me to wait on his own insurance claim. I understand mistakes happen. Yet, when nothing should have been offered to me from inception except apologies and assurances things will be made right, it was nothing but amateur hour and aggravation. The owner didn't do that much better than his "millennials". How about the courtesy of picking up the phone and calling the customer you screwed to let him know the package was finally found? read more

Said his UPS Store has no relationship to UPS itself. I filed a complaint at UPS Corporate. Read other similar negative posts here mentioning Zorick by name. Posted complaints on other websites. I love this location. They are always friendly and fast. Caesar and Anton helped me the last two days and I was there with 3-5 boxes needing labels printed for my returns and it was a breeze! A lovely woman helped us in line to speed up the process so that my labels were ready to go once I got to the register.
