The salesman was so kind, and when we initially thought we were going to leave and take a while to think about it, he was not pushy at all but instead gave us a price quote offering a small discount. We are pretty independent shoppers, just going by what we like and feel, but we had some questions about the types of foam and he explained the differences in a straightforward way. From his calm approach to the sales process, we decided to stay a little longer and lay on a few more beds -- sure enough, we found the perfect one. I honestly am blown away by such a pleasant shopping experience. I liken mattress shopping to used car shopping: slimy and yucky, but not here. We left with a full bed set: pillows, mattress cover, mattress, and box spring for less than the crappy "bed in a box" that we were actually thinking about getting, just to keep the price down. We are SO pleased. I am assuming the delivery and sleeping experience will be wonderful, but I will update accordingly if there are any additions. Oh, and it is a huge plus for us to see that their mattress covers, pillows, and mattresses are all made in the US -- the mattresses right in Salem, MA. Each mattress has a nice tag indicating this. Great to support local business. Come here! DON'T buy a Casper or any of those other annoying ones on Facebook ads. And for heavens sake don't go to Jordans. This place is wonderful. All the times that I have entered this location. All the staff seems to be very helpful and polite, not pushy. don't let you roam around. Sit on everything lay down on the couch, etc. and enjoy your visit. They also provide snacks down in the back. There's ice cream and candy does come in handy if not alone. I would like to state one story about their warrantees, which I highly suggest you purchase. One of my purchases was a white leather living room set.. It was a rather large expensive set. it included a large sectional and I added to living room cheers and three Ottomans as I had a huge living room. I had this furniture for approximately four years and to my surprise the sectional on the backside started to peel. I was very surprised about this and I contacted them about replacement as I did purchase the warranty. I spent almost $400 on the warranty which most of my friends thought I was crazy. I'm a big fan of extended plans. Anyway, while I was speaking to Bob's customer service on the phone and requesting someone coming and take a look at my furniture as I wanted to put in a warranty claim to either repair it or replace it. I was informed that they no longer had this leather living room available and that they were not doing repairs on that model any longer. I found myself in a funny position when I asked what can you do for me? They said we can give you a refund so I readily agreed. When my refund came in the mail now mind you I still had all the furniture they didn't want to come get it. They didn't even come in inspect it which I couldn't believe. I thought they were gonna be sending me a partial refund of some sort however they sent me a refund in the form of store credit for over $4000.. yes they refunded me for my entire purchase the cheers the Ottomans and the warranty. Unless I fall in love with a piece of furniture somewhere else, I will always drop at Bob's. Now back to the basic review they have a very very large parking area so you will always get a spot. It's directly on route one so it's. And they have a great selection of furniture for any room or decor. Now when you go in if you like a couch or chair, they actually have different colors. You can order them in even though you don't see it displayed so make sure you speak to the sales person. They have a finance program positive, but I see it advertised when I walk around. Comes delivery day and we get a call that they cannot deliver the mattress because it was in the truck all night and it FROZE - thus being unable to fold it in half to bring it in without breaking it. Are you kidding me? What "reputable" mattress mover leaves an item susceptible to freezing in an unheated truck in an area where overnight temperatures are often below freezing? And even if it does freeze, well just ship us another one! You're big enough to be able to do that. Nope, had to be that mattress and we have to wait till it thaws. After a few phone calls they said they would give us a credit, we could order a new sectional and they would pick the other one up when it was delivered. We went to go look in store and the credit wasnt on our account. I had to call again on Monday and straighten it out. We went back to the store the following weekend, spent and extra $1000 on a sectional plus $350 on a warranty. The sectional was delivered but the console didnt line up and the cover was falling off. We waited a month for them to deliver a new console and that console had a broken piece of wood in the back. The 3rd console was supposed to be inspected at the warehouse before delivery. It had a decent size run in the fabric right on the console arm. Not wanting to take another morning off work for another delivery they offered me 2 options. 10% back or 20% back and the warranty we purchased would be canceled. Absolutely ridiculous. The quality is absolutely junk! Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere!!!
