They treated me as if I was a burden, and not worth their respect or their time... So I filed a complaint with the Attorney General, and it's been a back and forth process for the past 5 months now. As of today, the issue is still not resolved, and my back is a wreck. The dip in the middle is so bad I have to squeeze to the sides of the bed and most of the time, and that doesn't help at all. My advice to any single mothers out there, BUYER BEWARE... They are very rude to women, judging from how they have been treating me. If I were a man, I'm sure the salesman wouldn't have called me sweetheart and hung up on me, and this issue would have probably been resolved immediately. With this store, if you are unhappy with the bed you bought, you'll be blamed for it, and you will not get your money back or any help at all. They are extremely reluctant to make things right, they do not take any responsibility at all, and will not replace your bed or give you a refund. Basically, it's a done deal. And since your bed is supposed to last 8 to 10 years, you better make sure you buy from a company that stands by their products and will allow you a refund or a replacement. This company doesn't even have their terms and refund policy in writing anywhere - not on their website, not on the receipt you get, and they don't give you any other paperwork besides the receipt - I didn't even get a copy of the Warranty! That's considered fraud, according to the Attorney General's office... Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon so I don't have to hire a lawyer,

Kim also owns Affordable Fine Furniture Outlet, which is relatively small but very close by and on the same street. We were so happy with our Ashley couch and recliner that we bought from Kim, so we went here for our mattress. We bought a bed-in-the-box Sierra Sleep mattress by Ashley. We decided on a hybrid 13" firm mattress with pillow top (king size for $799, which is cheaper than buying from Ashley directly). So much better than buying a mattress online since you can try everything out and compare easily. We took our time, and the Ashley mattresses felt as comfortable to us as higher-priced brands.

We were completely WOWED by the beautiful, hand-made furniture on display. My husband was immediately drawn to a gorgeous dark roll-top desk displayed prominently in the back center of the store. He has wanted an Amish roll top desk for a while, but the high price gave us pause. Dan of Amish Home Decor told us about the desk, a consignment piece made by a skilled craftsman. Then he offered to discount the desk and we were sold! My husband was so happy that he was getting the desk that tears came to his eyes. Dan and Deb were so nice and personable, explaining the origin of every piece we admired, and gave us a brochure on how to care for the furniture (use water only! No Pledge!). We also bought a gorgeous sofa table. The desk was promptly delivered 3 days later by Fireman Movers, and fits perfectly in my husband's study. He is a very happy camper. The Amish furniture in this shop is so well made, it makes regular furniture look like Ikea stuff. One day I want an Amish dining set! It's all VERY pricey but that is because you are getting super high quality made by skilled craftsmen who do things right.
