after a long head ache of trying to get one of the company computers fixed at office depot, my general manager said to just take the pc to a local expert. A co worker recommended Boxed CPU, because she had a good experience with them in the past... Apparently they get a lot of customers from Office Depot! lol! (I'm not suprised) They were able to fix the issue way faster than Office Depot could even promised (and sill couldnt fix) They also sell computers, laptops, combo packs, which I have purchased since then as well. Also, durring a small talk convo, I mentioned that best buy was asking around $300 to recover files from a broken lap top of mine and transfer it to a external hard drive. They did it for me for free as a courtesy!! These guys are awesome!!! the files on that lap top happened to be all the pictures of my daughter from when she was born till she was about 3! priceless memories caught on photo that I can once again enjoy thanx to these guys! Only reason why I am reviewing is to share my experience that I see 2 felt drastically different than I did. This is why it is a 4 star YELP deserving: -Great customer service (asked if I needed help bringing in the computer from the car because i wanted to check if they were open and if they could help my situation) -Turn around time was impeccable same day, however I didn't pick it up until Monday (took it in Friday morning) -Friendly reminder call for pickup and consultation if I wanted to add an antivirus for super cheap ($20-$25) -Explained what was wrong and suggested what not to do, however the anti virus will help prevent all that -My computer is faster and better than ever! -Reasonable prices $49 for a repair!!!!! If you are looking to repair your computer this is the spot to come too. I highly recommend it for the price and service you do receive! I would give Ray 6 stars if I could! I make the huge mistake of downloading the USPS email then the virus hit and the nightmare began. I was visiting from NY and leaving today and Ray performed his magic and fixed my laptop in less than 24 hours. I dropped it off at 530pm and it was ready at 2pm the next day. If I can score negative, I would. Let me tell you why. I walk in the store and of course first impression is he's nice(wants a sale). So, I buy 2 tablets from him. I open one and its perfect. I open the second and it's damaged. So I call him and tell him one is defective. He has me take a picture of it. He notices that its a crack screen. He then tells me that it has a broken screen(duh) and makes it seem like its my fault. So we get into it and he pretty much is saying once it leaves his store, it has nothing to do with him. Keep in mind that the packaging sucks and has no real protection. So I tell him that all I want is an exchange for the same one. He finally agrees to give my money back and won't let me purchase another. Wtf is that?!? Funny thing is i see 5 stars for him, but when returns and exchanges are up, he is a Negative 5 stars. So beware, he sells damaged products. So make sure everything works before leaving the store. read more

This place is a godsend. :) They are extremly nice and very helpful and the prices are wonderful. I took in two laptops, one was a Mac that my youngest son wanted to run Windows7 on and the other my oldest Son messed with Windows7. They had both computers done in 2 days and the Mac was turned into a dual boot with Mac OS and Windows7 and optimized to run at full power no matter which way my son wanted to go. I will never try to do anything on my own on any computer for their prices it is WAY worth it to pay them and do it right the first time. read more

This guy is very unfriendly and has attitude. He forced me to repair my computer there after he opened it up to check what was wrong with it by saying I cannot put it back together unless you fix it. I said go ahead. Next, he did a lousy job, and I complained about it. Because of my discomfort, he gave me attitude and told that he could give me my computer back the way it was before. Did not he tell me that it was not possible to give it back to me unless he fixes it? Do you realize about his contradiction? He made cosmetic damages on my computer after he did his work. This place is great. The staff here replaced my computer's old fan for half the price of quotes I got at other computer repair shops. Ray is a friendly and caring person. On top of replacing the fan, they were able to take care of a faulty wire that was causing my computer screen to flicker when I start up. It does not flicker anymore. Horrible horrible horible customer service and the owner is outright rude. He loves to collect money but does nothing more.. I purchased a laptop and not even 6 months into it the system crashed. They say it is the hard drive but unable to help me. My constant interaction with them has been negative and rude and honestly, i do not think the owner knows much. They just want to sell their refurbished items. I would not recommend anyone to this place as it has been a horrible experience. Please look into purchasing new items from elsewhere with warranty as the owner is not trustworthy and will not stay true to his word. after the owner of CPU boxed collected his money and had no knowledge of the computer.
