In addition to cheese, they have Edaleen's ice cream yummmmm!! Coffees, sandwiches and lite fare. They also have some souvenir type items and t shirts. I can now buy dairy, eggs, locally raised meats, fish, frozen local berries, local honey, bulk nuts, granola, flour, candy, etc, as well as fresh deli meats and cheeses. Recently they started carrying beer and wine and everyone's favorite Edaleen dairy ice cream. One of the best parts about The Green Barn is now you can have a sit down lunch and order from a variety of panini's, sandwiches, salads, or smoothies. It's a fun, large market, with a lot to choose from in the heart of Bellingham. The Bellingham Farmers Market occurs on Saturdays, so when I visited, I made my way over there an hour after it opened, and it was already packed! People get here early for the market even in the rain! I was impressed to see the large crowds with the wet weather, but it didn't stop us, Washingtonians. It really reminded me of a community event that many of the locals spend time at on their Saturday mornings - love that. The market takes place in downtown Bellingham, and has an outdoor area, along with a large indoor space where the market staff have a booth, selling their merchandise. It's also a dog-friendly market, so expect to see a lot of furry friends. There was live music, plenty of vendors of all specialties, and was next to a seating area where people could enjoy their market eats. I had a fun time, checking out all the vendors and supporting the local economy. I would happily be back to the Bellingham Farmers Market when in the area.
