OMG can you say beer garden? At a nursery? You betcha! And I gotta say, it's quickly becoming one of my fave beer gardens in town. It's quaint, with a neighborhood vibe, friendly staff, and (of course) great local brews on tap. On a sunny day I could sit for hours and watch the Columbia Neighborhood locals strolls in and out with their dogs and kids (yes, it's kid-friendly). This is such a fun place to come! I really enjoy the location and the great outdoor seating area that they recently enlarged. The food trucks that have been there when we visited have been fantastic and have offered a nice selection of Vegetarian options. They have many nice touches like chalk for the kids to use when they visit. A new feature is the hand made market that they have sometimes on the weekend....be sure to check and see if it is going as it is super fun. Beer and cider options available with a great selection of Bham offerings. Love to come here when I have an opportunity and a place worth coming back to many times. read more

Great spot to watch some sports and grab a beer with an amazing taco truck outside. I came here with a good buddy to have a few beers and ended up staying longer than we meant to because it was such a comfortable area to watch the game. They had a great tap selection and super friendly staff. Would definitely come back next time in the area. read more

Deserves 6/5 stars. First off, legit-looking taco truck. Can't comment on their food, because I was sucked in by legit Chinese street food. The best dumplings I've had since living with a guy from Shanghai in college. By far. Beer garden like atmosphere that was great on a sunny day. But what beer pairs with Chinese? I was recommended the Heliotrope IPA, and the combo exceeded my wildest expectations. Lightly crisped dumpling with a savory, rich interior, dipped in a spicy soy-garlic-red pepper sauce had a fresh pop to pair with light, sweet hops. Absolutely fantastic. Expect a line of mandarin speaking customers at this little stand, and a solid lineup of beers on tap. $8 for a full meal, $4.50 beers during happy hour. Shiu shiu! read more

This little neighborhood spot is perfect for a nice easy hang out joint. The vibe is so relaxed and welcoming. They offer a good sized selection of local beers, a cider or two and a few house wine choices. They also have 2 frequent food trucks onsite, one with Mexican food options and the other features Asian dumplings. We frequently find ourselves here Sundays as they have large Ts for game watching. What is not to love about this place or Bellingham?!?! What a cool fresh, inviting, fun, idea. Great beer in an extremely cool setting with wonderful food truck options. I'm only rating the Christmas Trees. We've bought two Christmas trees from Goods 4 years apart. We thought maybe the first time was a fluke and we would come back again. Round 2 same as the first. Our current tree is half dead with needles falling off already. It was complete caked with dirt on one side and we had to give it a shower before we brought it in. First round the tree lasted 1 week tops. Needless to say we will never come back to get a Christmas tree again. Over priced for Dead trees. read more

I've loved the convenient location of this place, and it is lovely to sit outside on a sunny day and have a beer with friends. However, I was there in the afternoon and observed the owner yelling at some small preeschool-age kids (who were just being kids) and then proceed to loudly complain to other customers about the kids and the parents. One of the mothers asked him if he wanted them to leave and he yelled at her about how she was missing the point and sarcastically said something like, "Oh great, now you're going to go around badmouthing me to the community and making me the bad guy." The mother started crying at one point and they packed up to leave. The owner then changed his tune and tried letting them know he really understands how hard it must be and that he really did want them there. They left anyway. It was so disappointing and, frankly, upsetting to witness this. I like this place, but I won't be going back. Corey (sp?) was so completely out of line. read more

One of the best beer selections in town, outdoor seating in prime in the sun. Love this little spot

The short version: Come for the beer, come back again for the dumplings. After passing by here for months I decided to finally come for happy hour. The prices are alright ($4.50 for a 16 oz pour) and there is a good selection of local brews. However, the real appeal for me is the Chinese dumpling stand on the compound. I've been looking for something like this for over a year since I moved here from Seattle. The dumplings are flavorful & filling in all the right ways. I would go as far to say this is the best food I've had since moving here. All in all, the atmosphere here is super fun and relaxed. Will be back again, both for a good draft pour & for dumplings. read more

Wow, what a service they provide. It's basically a "roadside fruit and vegetable stand". They drive to the Columbia Valley (Wapato, Yakima area) and buy fresh, local produce and fruit and bring it back fro us. Yes, it's "spendier" than other local stores that have good to real good fresh stuff, but, if you want the "real" stuff that we used to eat in the 50's, Goods makes it available. What a wonderful spot. Cory and Molly and their crew are fantastic! It's so great having a thriving local fruit and veggie stand in the Columbia (& Fountain District) Neighborhood. Cory makes an extra effort to buy local and organic whenever he can, so different than other fruit stands. We buy fruit and veggies and garden starts there in the spring and summer, and a few years ago started buying our Christmas Trees and Halloween Pumpkins from them too. Cory and Molly are really great! They always have a smile and energy, and will do whatever it takes to help you. They let you sample stuff, because how else would you know if you liked it or if it was good enough to buy? Besides fruits and vegetables and plants, over the years they have carried lots of other good local stuff- honey, coffee, salad dressing, BBQ sauce, specialty chocolates, and I think they have even had meat in the past. The store is very casual, you can bring your dog in and stuff like that, but it's also very well-kept. BUY LOCAL! read more
