Bob and his son Jake are compulsive liars, have lost their license and did not pay subs that worked on our project. In that regard, we were very fortunate that no liens were placed on our property by those subs. So, the rest of the story is that we are swimming now. Salt chlorine generator will be installed Monday. Pool was plastered 3 weeks ago. We can fire up the hot tub next week once the plaster has cured. Basically, the pool is done and it's beautiful. Eight months was certainly longer than I could have imagined it taking, but, we survived it. Bob and Brian have been communicating way more and getting work done. We are paying the contracted price less the solar, which I ended up paying for directly, to expedite the timeline. I'm glad there were no lawsuits and no one's life had to get ruined. First, for some reason Boyer Pools seems to be able to remove our review. These people have 8 claims against their bond (check for yourself). We are at least 15k in the hole to correct and finish workscope was paid for and either didn't finish or did improperly. We asked repeatedly for a financial accounting of the $54k he got from us, yet we learned later he paid subs late which we were threatened with a mechanics. I suggest you do your research and take some of these positive reviews with a grain of salt (AI generated ?). Lastly, I suggest you research the contractors board and his bond company. I don't even know where to start. Bubba and Brian were great to deal with. I was in the middle of a major remodeling project and really having a hard time with other companies I had contracted so my patience was running very thin. Bubba was very honest about the timeline of the project and he did an amazing job of working with my vision to create a pool that is absolutely stunning. Update: Brian doesn't activate his voicemail nor answers his phone so the only way to communicate (if he responds) is to text. For the last few months he repeatedly said he would fix our defective pool. Recently he had started to give more excuses and blame others (even stating to us that the pool was "functional" and we should be happy....it was a $100k project!). He continued to push back the timeline to fix stating that his subcontractors weren't responding to him. We got several of our own quotes for the fix and they said that Boyer Pools is CLOSED! So now Brian has disappeared and won't take accountability once we started to press him to resolve the issue faster. I don't wish bad things for anyone and, in this case, if he is closed I'm will be happy that he can no longer do this to other customers. There are tons of pool companies and see the reviews here (not just mine). They are a horrible company to work with. Go somewhere else! read more

Horrible service. I originally reached out to Brain on April 5th. He seemed to be on board and willing to get me set up with my pool. However, that's as far as his service went. I should have known he would provide such bad service when I had to keep checking in with him for an appointment. Even after that I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He showed up late to the appointment then told me I would get a bid for the pool in 2 weeks. It is now May 19th and I just received the proposal as I'm writing this. What a complete waste of time.
