Back to the soup ...the broth was bitter and had hardly any spices or flavor. It was such a disappointment...like it was thrown together and microwaved. Usually the broth is rich with complex flavors, like a layered cake. The broth could stand alone with nothing else in it. Yes ..it was that good. I said to the bartender it was very bad, and the bartender apologized. A few seconds later the "cash you out lady" came over and she was a straight up unpleasant. She did not offer any apologies or offer to comp the horrible soup. It was business as usual. I was so disappointed. The flautas- three flautas covered by some type of thrown together shredded lettuce and rice n beans and guacamole. I can say the guacamole was amazing. Super friendly staff and even if you don't speak Spanish you will feel welcomed! We had appetizer platter, and was fresh and homemade...especially the fried cheese sticks and onion rings. The recipes and cook are very thoughtful, each item was hand dipped and fried. Each dipping sauce is unique. Full menu including pizza, burgers, Mexican, and seafood... will definitely be back!
