From my initial contact, which was responsive and very pleasant, to the moment the tech walked out of my home after completing the work, the experience was stress-free and exceptional. I received a text 30 minutes before the tech arrived, and the text included a picture of who would be arriving to do the work. Great safety feature for situational awareness! When Olvin arrived, before I even had a chance to ask, he had already pulled shoe covers from his pocket and put them on, stepping into my home with the covered shoes (rather than putting the covers on outside and stepping on the porch, thus defeating the purpose). Olvin examined my 44-year-old master bath exhaust fan and provided a quote on the spot, after which he scheduled the actual work that would be done. I had already purchased the replacement fan, and was relieved when he told me that 1), the brand that I had purchased is the best brand on the market, 2), that brand is the only one they install (except for units supplied by the customer), and 3) they install this brand every single day. On the day for which the work was scheduled, I received a 30-minute ETA text with photo. Francisco, the electrician, got straight to work after asking a few questions. He was finished with the work in less than the quoted three hours (he had to cut the opening to accommodate the new fan unit and patch up after). I had expected to have to clean up dust and mop the floor after he left. However, none of this was necessary because he had covered the entire floor from the front door to the bathroom, AND the walls, shower, and vanity with 3mil plastic sheeting to prevent the settlement of dust. After testing the fan with me there to ensure everything was working properly, he gave me the option of paying on the spot or being invoiced (I chose the latter, as is my standard practice). The only con that I have is that Francisco changed the wall switch configuration. Previously, it was set so that switch #1 would turn on only the vanity lighting, and switch# two controlled the fan/fan light together. His reasoning was definitely valid, but I was so used to the way it was previously set. The issue with the new configuration is that it makes the bathroom too bright when I go in early in the morning, before my eyes have time to adjust after sleeping. I contacted customer service to let them know how pleased I was with the work and to mention the switch issue. The woman with whom I spoke immediately scheduled a follow-up visit, and a few days later, Olvin was dispatched to change the switch back. All said, I am exceedingly pleased with the Wire Tech Electric team, from intake to install to invoice, and highly recommend them! They will be my go-to electric company going forward!

Geoff quickly identified problems at the service connection where the utility power enters the house, repaired the loose connections and grounding issue, and carefully checked the main panel and subpanel. He walked me through everything he was testing, tightened several loose connections, and confirmed there was no heat damage. After his repairs, the voltage immediately stabilized around 121-123 volts, even with the microwave running under load. The lights stopped dimming, the stove stopped resetting, and the microwave began operating normally again. Geoff is clearly a highly experienced, old-school electrician who knows his trade inside and out. He was thorough, straightforward, and focused on fixing the actual problem.
