Let me start off by saying, going to pawn shops and looking for a deal has been a hobby of mine my entire life, and I've been to thousands of pawn shops across the country. This place was bad enough for me to make a comment on Yelp. Manager James, sold me an item and told me to come by the next day to pick it up, due to a missing key for the display.. The next day after no response from the store, I called them. The manager today Ishmael told me he is not going to get the item for me, he's not going call the guy that has the key, and that he would give my money back because basically he doesn't want to help. Ishmael said, "oh, I'm not here that often so I barley know what's going on. You gotta wait for the owner." So I asked, "When does the owner come in?" The manager said, "He doesn't come in very often, so I don't know." So I ask for the owners name? "I can't give you that information." I ask, "So what can I do? I'm on vacation and this is my last day in town?" The manager basically said yeah he COULD NOT and WOULD NOT find a way to get me the item I bought. Absolutely no help! They sold an item displayed and then want to take it back! Worst pawn shop I've ever been to! The worst business interaction I've ever had! It sounded like I was talking to a retarded stoner rather than a manager of a pawn shop! Save your money and time and go to the pawn shop down the street! Bargain Pawn! I got an address from the seller and drove to see what they really have in their store. I met up with Ethan in their store, showed me around and they have more than what they have listed in the site... you guys have to really check them out, very good prices, very nice quality and you can bundle for extra savings. Got me a nice Milwaukee tooL kit for a really good price and it's worth driving 60miles round trip. Very nice finding a place that will not rip you off. This store was super cool. We were just walking by and stopped in because of all the electric guitars and other instruments. The people there were very friendly and let the bf test out or play with whatever he wanted. They have amps and stuff set up so you can test. On July 17th, my family and I were on vacation in Oceanside, CA. On one of our outings were decided to walk into a pawnshop just to check it out as we never go into pawn shops. I must say that we really were happy that we did. I saw a lot of very interesting items, that definitely seemed very fair priced, and we met Ritchie the shop manager. He was very friendly and informative and we all enjoyed talking to him. While there my daughter, Jessica, who is a singer in a band called Arcanua, saw a tambourine that she really liked. Since it was her birthday, I told her that I would purchase it for her. When I went to purchase it, Ritchie who had heard that it was her birthday, refused to let me pay and insisted that it was a gift for my daughter from his pawnshop. We were blown away by this.
