HUGE TIME WASTERS! Three staff members visit with one person. The idle conversation while customers wait was unbearable. No sense of urgency or cognizant of customer's time and patience. So phony and annoying. They should just do jewelry and nothing else. Plus when you get a loan they want you to "sign". SIGN WHAT??? WTF am I signing? What am I agreeing to??!?? This is illegal! Show me the terms and conditions, interest, fees, penalties, etc. They just say sign. Sign what??? They do have a poster on the wall. But is that what I'm agreeing to? It cannot be elusive. It HAS to be clear what the customer contract says between the loan entity and borrower. Stop playing games with people. They know exactly what they're doing. Misleading business practices is what is going on. Before you agree and sign ask them what you're agreeing to. Don't be some desperate brokey and agree to anything. They are REQUIRED to give you full disclosure of what you're agreeing to. And they know people are so desperate for a couple bucks that they'll sign anything. This is a violation and it's illegal. Speak up and demand they provide a copy of what you're signing for, before you use their electronic pen. This is the basics and the law. Cesar took time to do a consult with me about jewelry and how to fix it . We made plan for charm bracelet and placement of charms ect . He understood the sentimental value and made sure he wrote detail notes for jeweler which I appreciated. Also we had charms soldered on, so I would not have to worry about losing any. Braclet was ready on time and was done in less than a week. All staff her is friendly and cost was reasonable. For Cesar Valdez - Oceanside and Luis Valdez - Esco. Okay, where do I even begin. I went to the Esco store and was NOT going to buy anything today. I just came to look. And there was no pressure at all when began speaking with Luis. He had a cool, easygoing nature and, even though I research a lot about precious stones and metals, I learned a couple of new things from him. Had to leave and come back but by then Luis was out to lunch. So, I spoke with the Oceanside manager, Cesar. Same easygoing disposition. Long story short, I walked out with two amazingly stellar rings, the exact thing I was looking for and at the price I wanted. Not only did Luis and Cesar give me an amazing price for extremely high-quality rings, THEY WERE STEAM CLEANED. I couldn't believe how much they sparkled. Of course I had to walk out with them on. And even so, they STILL gave me for each ring, a ring box, a gift box for the ring box, and a cute gift bag complete with tissue! I've gone twice in the last week or so and both times was able to sell old watches, rings, necklaces and even but things I'm interested in to- and still walk out with cash. 'Twas but a normal Tuesday... or so I thought. I finish up getting my bimonthly haircut only see a place next door that appears to be glowing through its walls and store face. As I enter I'm not only surprised by the cleanliness off the facility but rather the slender of the jewelry. Being surrounded by such beautiful metals and stones lead me to the thought that I may or may not be a young prince lounging in his corridor. Only problem was this prince knew the king/father (his bank account) wouldn't be happy about spending daddy's money on expensive jewelry. Either way I decided to inquire about the watches and chains. To my disbelief the prices did not resemble my thoughts about this place. Although my thoughts were high. These prices were LOW. Safe to say I plundered in some new findings. Everyone is pretty cool but Fermin has kept it solid ever since I went in for my first pawn. Ice also purchase many things from Fermin. Guitars, jewelry, watches, DVDs, random tools I didn't need but now am glad I have. I went in last week because I heard he was in esco now. I drove from oside to esco just to deal with Fermin And check out the deals in his new store. Definitely worth the drive.
