Have you ever actually looked at the can when you buy from these refrigerated sections at gas stations? They are often caked in dust and grime right on top where you put your mouth, seriously it's disgusting. I always wipe them down anyway, but they keep their storage clean here and that shows a level of care you won't get at other local stations. The down side is how busy this place gets, and how poorly the staff seem to handle it. It's frustrating when a line is so long it's extending into the aisles, people can't browse the items and often cant tell where the line actually ends. To summarize they have a solid selection and prices, they also offer a rewards card I believe, but are dragged down by poor customer service. An extra mention, they have a redbox outside for those looking to rent movies.

The store itself is really great. It always seems bright, clean and has a vast array of fountain drinks and additional syrups, my fave being vanilla. You can dispense individual flavored syrups (vanilla, cherry, etc.) into your fountain soda. Prices for these hover around a dollar depending on the size you choose, pretty typical. As someone else said, the staff is really friendly and jovial. One female clerk recently apologized to me on behalf of another customer for cutting in front of me, which I think was just a communication because I was actually going to get something else; but it's just nice that they notice things like that and care enough to mention it five minutes later, when I was being rung up in a separate line with a different cashier. How nice. :) It just the little things that make a difference sometimes. One of the things I like best is that because of how new and well-lit the last remodel was, I always feel safe. It may sound stupid, but I just feel safer here late nights than at other establishments at the same time of night. Oh, and I THINK this location is 24/7.

I have stopped going here about 3 months ago because I got tired of coffee either being empty or so burnt it taste terrible. I'm not a coffee snob by any means ( just not a Starbucks overpriced coffee fan) but one morning I went I told the girl working the coffee containers were all empty she actually tried to talk me into a flavor that she liked because she just made it and it was her favorite. Really? If you are going through the effort wouldn't you make all flavors? Got tired of everything either empty or broken so haven't gone back for a while. Figured I would try again about a week ago and same old stuff so don't feel bad driving by. It honestly used to be busy there and now don't see cars in there at all. I'm sure that the manager or corporate office is thinking it's due to the rough road driving in there (which is being replaced now) but it's due to the lousy service they provide. I don't think it's the people that work there I think it's the management that they have in place. Many times that I was there before there were 2 employees outside smoking (pretty sure one was the manager?) and everything was empty inside and the poor person inside was taking heat for everything many times. It's a shame, want to support local business but not if they don't care. There are many more places to get gas and or coffee.

Really? Why don't people put their stock work aside, jump on a register, ring up the customers, and return to their work later. She intentionally upheld a prescription from a transfer from another CVS (Oak Park). Not only is this not CVS policy but ALEX did this on her own prerogative (found that out from my previous pharmacist) and then had the nerve to say "It takes a couple of days, don't hold your breath". Dealt with another person also named ALEX who talked to me like I was some sort of drug addict for a psychiatric medicine that I've had for years at CVS Under no circumstances should you ever go to this store and use their pharmacy. I believe the only recourse here will be filing a lawsuit for discrimination. I politely told ALEX I would be writing this kind of review and her response was: "DO WHATEVER, I DONT CARE" ALEX doesn't seem to understand or care that people can, and will, die from her mistreatment.
