Excellent customer support from everyone! The gentleman I scheduled with was so helpful; correcting my booking errors and had great patience and understanding. Lkisha, the phlebotomist, called the day before and showed up right on time. She is friendly, detailed, and very professional. I've had some difficult draws, but she has the knack. Did the blood draws for my Genova kit and was in and out so quickly. No lines, no waiting room, no driving in the 40 degree weather and I got my coffee and breakfast right away after fasting overnight! Win, win, win! Excellent service. Thanks so much!

Let me start by saying that I have donated multiple times at The Blood Connection bloodmobile prior…read moreto this weekend's attempt. Never have I had a bad experience, which is they only reason this is more than a one star review. Everyone has been friendly, considerate and thoughtful. Sadly, this past weekend was a very different story. I arrived approx. 10 minutes prior to my appointment and was informed by 2 people waiting outside that they were full. We waited, more people arrived, one person exited, we waited some more. About 20 minutes after my appointment time, the 2 people who had been waiting when I arrived were finally called in. More people arrived. One more person exited. After nearly an hour, I was finally let in, along with 2 people after me. I filled out the registration form, and was called into the check-in 'room'. They asked me about my questionnaire, checked my driver's license and took my bp. Not sure what the issue was, but they then checked my iron via a finger monitor (this was the first time I've had this done). It was low apparently, so they tried it again. Still low. So, more than an hour after my original appointment time, I was told I would not be able to donate, I would be on a list for 28 days, I could try again after that time and was dismissed. Now, I understand there are circumstances under which they cannot allow people to donate. However, to wait over an hour, without any apologies for the delay, without any thank yous for our patience, without any sort of acknowledgment of the inconvenience, and then be told I cannot donate, is simply unacceptable. Inside is a sign that every donor receives respect for their time. This experience tells me that is not case.

Very good experience here!…read more I signed up online, did the pre-appointment ahead of time to save time and it was a very smooth experience. Emma was very friendly and kind, the phlebotomist (a lovely lady) was kind, professional and checked on me throughout the process. Planning on donating again in about two months. Very professional and clean location. Plenty of parking, too!

I have just recently started donating plasma and this location was the closest. The center is…read morelocated in a new building and everything looks new and fairly modern. I am always greeted in a welcoming manner by one of the ladies at the front desk. I have never had an issue with any of the employees, they have always been accommodating and helpful any time I have been there and that says a lot about them as people because there are times when the wait is extremely long and I am sure their stress level is longer. A couple issues I have run into are the computers, wait and the TVs. The check in screens that you must use when you first enter are very difficult to make a selection with your fingers. It works better if you have a pen, stylus or your keys to tap the on screen keys. All of them are equally as difficult to enter your info. The other issues is that the screen moves according to an automated recording of what is on the screen. If you are a faster reader, you have to wait until that screen has been fully dictated. The wait time from when I enter the building to when I make it into the plasma draw room has been from about 20 minutes to as long as an hour. Most times it has averaged about 45 minutes to get called up. Once I finally make it to my chair/machine, I have had varying wait times. On one of my last visits, I waited upwards of an hour before I got stuck with for the plasma draw. Basically, I waited 2 hours from when I got in the door to when I started to donate plasma. The plasma draw too another 45 to an hour a that ended up being roughly 3 hours to earn $25 that visit. I need to do a better job trying to avoid peak times. The final issue was that some of the TVs in the room where you donate plasma don't work or the TVs flicker. This may seem like a small thing but if you are waiting to draw plasma for an hour, a working TV is a decent attempt at distracting me from staring at the clock and wanting to walk out. As bad as the issues I have with this place may seem, it is not bad enough for me to switch donation centers and the employees are great. They do a great job keeping the room clean and moving as fast as they can to get the next patient/customer moving through the process. When I first started and the pay was decent ($50), I think I ignored some of the issues I mentioned. Now that I have been doing it long enough to only get $25-30 a session, the issues may eventually get me to stop coming with any real frequency.

I went to the bottom app in jacksonville north carolina and I got Horrible customer service…read more There's a girl on there with pink hair and a pink hair clip and glasses who decides to show the entire needle of my arm for and then. She wanted things to rush faster and after I told her it's OK. I don't mind waiting. She turns the machine off such wiggling the f****** needle in my arm like that's a smart idea to do like I'm not in pain I. Said that makes like that hurting me and she just laughed continued and then no blood started coming out so she caught some guy over. He tried turning the machine on tried pumping the blood back into my arm at this point. I can feel the needle is not even in the vein feel it just sitting under my skin and you now can see a little bubble where my blood's at. which is not even inside of the vein which clearly hurts hurting me as I'm that hurt so he calls someone else over and has to try putting it in the other arm she's just incredibly rude the entire time. She did nothing but give short answers rolled eyes at me. It was just a horrible experience honestly and I definitely will not be coming back and the fact that i might now even get paid after I went through that. All they had to do was get someone who knew what they were doing. I said it was a comfortable in the 1st place. I have a horrible little blimp on my arm thats aching like crazy. I can't even move my freakin pinky or my ring finger at this moment. You litterally can see the swollen area. I can't even extend my arm.
