If I could give zero stars I would, I have donated with this place a few times now and no matter what time of day you come the wait time is ridiculous for anything, if you finish the plasma donation workers will walk past you and not unhook you and proceed to do other things like talk to other workers instead of care for patients My wife went to donate and the workers have also shown unprofessionalism and poor training My wife went to donate and got stuck in her arm poorly, once something was said workers couldn't decide if it was a hematoma or something else so instead of treating her immediately they chose to decide what's going on in her arm, they ultimately decided to switch arms and in which they made the same mistake and had to keep adjusting the needle in her arm, it took multiple people to figure it out, for reference my wife is a 145 lb woman as well. From what I've experienced as well as she's experienced. These people are poorly trained and unprofessional, I would not recommend donating here, go to another Biomat. read more

The wait time from the time you walk in until someone comes and hook you up is extremely long. I used the app to set a 3:30 appt, walked in at 3:25, 45 minutes later I'm on a bed still waiting to get hooked up, absolutely ridiculous!!! read more

I have been sitting in the waiting room for 40 minutes waiting to become a donor and not a single person has come up to the desk to check for myself or the other people here waiting. This is not the biomat I go to even though they are closer, reason being they gave me a hematoma the size of a baseball last time I was there. My original center didn't pick up their phone so I tried this center, twice to voice mail 3rd time I got through asked a general medical question. Very clean and sanitary. Many plasma centers attract bad company, but this center is very good about making sure to hold the customers accountable to the rules. Could move quicker on the donor floor much of the time, but I would definitely recommend this place. It's a great cause, and gives some extra money in your pocket! read more

Unprofessional place to deal with, my dad has been donating plasma for the last 26 years well before this place had digital records when it was still called Biotest, he has VIP status in which he is supposed to be put at the front of the line the minute he checks in, that is what the signs advertise for this title at least and how he and or vips were treat until recently, this last time he went in last week, he had to wait over an hour, I remember when the girls would question why there was a vip sitting in the waiting room still now they don't even care, when he questioned the girl why he had to wait so long once he was finally called back to a room after several people the only answer she gave was "we're busy" my dad took his VIP badge off and threw it at the trash can and told her then what's the point of having the vip privilege? She then goes and tell the manager Jerry that he threw the badge at her basically accusing him of assault, Jerry then called my dad into the office and told him he was being ridiculous about being upset because they didn't honor his VIP badge status, my dad told him they were in the wrong and left, apparently Jerry has blacklisted my dad from being able to donate at either location in our county. So a one sided story they put in with no proof and all the work my dad has done over 26 years ended, twice a week every week all year, over 15,000 donations from my dad alone and they black list him from a one sided story. He has been hit by a technician at this business and she blocked him from being able to donate the next time because he told her if she hits him again he will report her but he is the one being accused of assault. Avoid this place like the plague.... used to take an hour to donate now I'm here for at least 3-4 hours every time. Every single time they take my pulse it fluctuates to the point of being impossible... then they do the other arm it's fine. Today's experience was disappointingly odd. I am a regular donor and usually everything goes well. I waited an hour to get into donate. Hematircit level was low but needed approval from Medtech. An hour!!!! Not sure what this process entails but waiting an hour is unacceptable. Definitely making me think twice about donating regularly read more

My husband and I love donating here , the nurses are fun and always are in good spirits , they are professional and fast , ( the blonde manager isn't so polite and seems rude ) but no issues so far , we come very often for the past year , it's well worth it ! Phenomenally clean facility, very well kept establishment made it a very comfortable process for a first time donator. Staff was very informative, with a plethora of pamphlets and knowledge to ensure you were eligible and knowledgeable for donating. Manager was very rude we saw her yelling at a woman out of no where just snapped at this poor woman who was sitting there not making a sound made the lady leave. It took hours longer then what they said overall terrible establishment and very rude staff. Wont be going there again. When this company was Nabi they tested me regularly for STDs randomly after two years of donating I had a false positive on one test that they instantly reported, putting me on the National Deferred Donor Registry(NDDR). I immediately went and got tested thoroughly at the local health department from which I learned I was still STD free, relieved I then brought the results to my donation center who informed me it's too late nothing I could do; I'm banned from donating plasma and blood nationally for life. I've been told by the physician at Biotest that he's seen a woman who figured out the proper channels and got herself removed from this registry, but that he had no idea how she did it and that if he did he could not help me to do so, because if he were to do that he and the center would get in trouble because it would look like they were manipulating the system to get more customers... Unethical... Blah... If you attempt to call the NDDR you don't get an organization you get tech support for the software used by plasma centers to view those registered on the list. It's been over 10 years since being put on this list. I had another checkup just a couple months ago, still clear; brought the results from then and now into the center again, they still wouldn't bother to look at them. Someone or some equipment made a mistake, you'd think in a network so organized that a false positive could instantly ban you across the nation from participating there would be some sort of contingency set up to allow one to appeal a false positive or at the very least someone to talk to that could lead you through the appropriate channels on how to do so, since a few internet stories and one physician's eyewitness account attest that such a thing is possible. Went to Biotest on Yopp road. First 3 times everything was great. then I got a girl who flirted with marines instead of doing her job. I yelled when she stuck me and she just walked away. Then it took 4 people to come over and help me cause i was having pain, I asked to take out the needle and be done but they didn't want that. They encouraged me to keep going... Then the IV site started to bleed out and this is what happened due to their negligence. Just be careful who you get to stick you.! read more
