I came acrossUrsa while searching Yelp for highly rated local breakfast spots, and I'm glad I…read moredecided to check it out. My man and I had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, Christopher, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. Jessica was also a pleasure to have as our server. You can tell the people here genuinely care about what they're doing. One thing that makes Ursa stand out is that they roast their own beans in house using small batch, micro lot coffee. My Salted Caramel Frappe tasted so much cleaner and better than what you get from the big chain coffee shops. I'm already looking forward to coming back to try their Tres Leches Frappe and pastries. We both ordered The Platter, which comes with two eggs, hash browns, toast with butter, blueberry and strawberry jam, and your choice of bacon or chorizo. I went with the chorizo, and my man got the bacon. Everything tasted fresh, clean, and flavorful. The atmosphere is another reason this place is worth visiting. It doesn't feel like your typical coffee shop. Local artwork is all over including an art gallery tucked away in the back, you definitely need to check out before exiting. There's plenty of seating whether you're meeting friends, reading a book, or getting some work done. They have Wi-Fi. while we were there, someone was working on a laptop while another person was relaxing with a book. It has a creative, inspiring, and welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay awhile instead of rushing out. If you're in downtown Bridgeport, I definitely recommend stopping by. There's metered street parking right out front, making it an easy spot to visit. Grab a coffee, enjoy breakfast, spend a little time soaking in the atmosphere. The gallery is a hidden gem that's absolutely worth seeing.

What a nice coffee shop to start our beautiful Saturday in. My girlfriend brought me here to try it…read moreout. She found it on yelp. The coffee shop is also very artsy. Lots of art hung around the shop. They even have an art gallery in the back of the shop aswell. Very interesting place shop. I am an artist myself perhaps I can see if I can submit my art to the shop aswell. Now for the food. We ordered two breakfast platters. It consisted of eggs scrambled, hash browns, bacon or chorizo and toasted cape seed bread with blueberry and strawberry jam. I got the bacon platter and she got the chorizo one. Must say it was fresh and served beautifully. This shop gave me a nice home cooked breakfast feel. The hasbrown were crispy and the eggs cooked perfectly. I tasted the chorizo and it was delicious. We also ordered the salted caramel frappe latte. Delicious and refreshing. It was a great wake me up. The service was great and the shop has plenty of seating. I will be coming back especially this fall.

Mark has offered me a range of options from the most economical to the most complete repairs including gilding, reattaching artwork to frames, repairing the frames themselves at a range of prices and left the choice to me after giving his expert opinion. His work has been of excellent quality, and his prices have been quite reasonable. I have done both minimal inexpensive repairs for less valuable pieces to complete restoration of more valuable artworks and frames, and the quality of his work is consistent at all levels. He is a pleasure to work with......talented, knowledgable, friendly and fairly priced. You really get a lot of "bang for the buck" with his work. My highest 5 star recommendation. He is currently working on another piece for me, and I have more in the pipeline that I will bring him when they arrive damaged from the transportation from Europe which does happen from time to time. Run, do not walk, to his studio if you need this kind of quality service at an affordable price!
