This place is such a gem. The Thai chicken pizza was so good, and my husband loved the wings so much we ordered them again the night after! Between the actual crispiness of the skin and the robust garlic parmesan sauce they were generously tossed in- hands down best wings in Jville! We also ordered the steak and cheese sub and the peppers and onions on it were grilled to perfection with savory melty cheese on a sesame bun. Would not even give 1 star! I ordered a large pizza, got home, took one bite, and discovered there was no sauce on the pizza. Called to discuss this with the owner- first the owner was "walking the dog" and next there were not around." I went back to the restaurant to show them the pizza and they said there was sauce. The wife and I wanted to get something for dinner and this place is close to our house. We got a calzone and some Stromboli as well as an apple turnover. I was gonna take my food to go but it smelled so good when it was being cooked i decided to eat there. Best pizza in Jacksonville the sourdough crust was amazing they use high quality cheese and ingredients. There steak pizza was definitely ribeye and the flavor was on point for the spicy parmesan garlic wings. They have loaded fries that was extremely delicious and there not your typical loaded fries u can choose from several different toppings not just bacon. The fries are cut in house from potatoes, not store bought. The service was amazing i talked to the to guys working there for a good 30minutes after the meal it was. I ate here with my wife to try a new place. We had their cheese bread, pizza, and wings. To be fair to this review I have had many pizzas and wings from around the world. Let's get into it. Walking in, there was a small seating area that I was pleased to find. The walls are decorated with what appear to be local art and football memorabilia. This stuff was definitely interesting. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The interaction with the staff was a great experience with that local shop feel. You can see the food preparation area as you look past the front counter. If you like to have a view of the food preparation space that is fine but if seeing little certain details of the food operation can turn you off there is that too. To me this seemed open and honest, no problem. They boast the best NY Style pizza here. I will take their word for it. It was pizza to me. In an age of genuine wood fired brink pizza ovens, the NY Style Pizza monicker does not translate to additional quality to me. I have had much better pizza at places that say nothing about how good their pizza is compared to NY or any other style. If the attitude about your pizza is more important than the pizza I guess that makes it good NY Style pizza. The wings were good wings. It was not as if there was a signature sauce or preparation method that showed in a difference that I could justify giving high praise for these wings. The cheese bread was also good food. Over all this is a great local pizza shop. There is a lot to like about the cozy atmosphere and pleasant staff. They obviously care about their customers and they produce good food. OMG!!! Finally found a pizza and wing place! The wings are cooked perfectly! Nice and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Tried the spicy Parmesan sauce on the wings and dang it was so delicious! Had the antipasto pizza and I've never had balsamic vinegar on a pizza before but I'll never eat marinara again. Not willing to accommodate customers with 2 different sauces, for 18 wings. So they refuse to pet you get 9 of one flavor, and 9 in a different flavor. Poor customer service. My husband stopped by last week and told me they had great boneless wings. So he brought me by today and I see "brick oven" so I had to try the pizza. This is real sour dough crust, real cheese, and homemade sauce. It's more like the pizza crust I've had in Europe. (My favorite) 1 very hungry person could eat a regular. I would prefer to share. Everyone I know swears this pizza is the best in town, but it's not for me. I learned the hard way that traditional NYC style pizza has almost zero sauce and way too much cheese. Seriously, where the heck is the sauce on the pizza? Every review below says it tastes fresh but there's maybe a dollop on the entire pie so how could you taste it at all? The crust is way too thin and weirdly undercooked. It's chewy without any bite to it and can't support the toppings. They just slide right off. When I say thin I mean it's like crepe thin under the toppings even though the outer crust is normal sized. Additionally, the pepperoni they use is the size of pennies and tastes like the cheap hormel brand at the grocery store. I'm sad I didn't enjoy the pizza. The owner is a sweetheart and I tried it twice just for that reason. More sauce. Thicker crust. Better meat. read more

Decided to try this place for the first time. We ordered a 1/2 cheese 1/2 mushroom and onion tray pizza and bbq wings. The toppings on the pizza were good but the crust was so tough it was inedible. We ended up just scraping the toppings off and throwing the crust out. We might try again and order the thin crust. The customer service was excellent. The service was very friendly and quick. I don't know if it was just the time we were there or if it's always hot in the restaurant, but it was ridiculously warm. Eating piping hot pizza in a very warm restaurant is not something that pairs well together. The pizza was too hot to eat for about 10 minutes, so if you're taking it home to eat the temp will be perfect by the time you eat it. I loved that they used fresh mushrooms on their pizza rather than canned but overall, the pizza was very greasy on top (it took 7 or 8 napkins to blot it and it still had some grease). The edge of the crust was nice & crispy, which is how I like my pizza. We also tried the garlic knots which also came out extremely hot. I wasn't a fan of these since the dough was very chewy, almost close to being underdone. The pizza was definitely better than what the chains around here have to offer, but based on this experience it isn't the best in Jax. We will probably try again in a few months so I'm hopeful it'll be better then. read more

This place does not sell beer but i guess is BYO (Bring Your Own) considering the drunk guy by the trash can that kept reaching into his 12 pk of Labatts Blue that was laying on the floor at his feet.
