We did a custom pizza and it was good. The service is nice and even though it's a small shop, I like to sit inside. The wings are great and the pizza (tray) is HUGE so it's great for groups. It's a bit on the thicker side which is fine, the toppings taste fresh

I ate here with my wife to try a new place. We had their cheese bread, pizza, and wings. To be fair to this review I have had many pizzas and wings from around the world. Let's get into it. Walking in, there was a small seating area that I was pleased to find. The walls are decorated with what appear to be local art and football memorabilia. This stuff was definitely interesting. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The interaction with the staff was a great experience with that local shop feel. You can see the food preparation area as you look past the front counter. If you like to have a view of the food preparation space that is fine but if seeing little certain details of the food operation can turn you off there is that too. To me this seemed open and honest, no problem. They boast the best NY Style pizza here. I will take their word for it. It was pizza to me. In an age of genuine wood fired brink pizza ovens, the NY Style Pizza monicker does not translate to additional quality to me. I have had much better pizza at places that say nothing about how good their pizza is compared to NY or any other style. If the attitude about your pizza is more important than the pizza I guess that makes it good NY Style pizza. The wings were good wings. It was not as if there was a signature sauce or preparation method that showed in a difference that I could justify giving high praise for these wings. The cheese bread was also good food. Over all this is a great local pizza shop. There is a lot to like about the cozy atmosphere and pleasant staff. They obviously care about their customers and they produce good food. Is it the best pizza? No, maybe good NY Style but not the best pizza. Folks in the delivery area of this shop are fortunate to have this option available for delivery.

Small mom and pop place with a legit brick oven. Food was fire really good and the pizza was definitely the star of the place. Hugeee pizza with a very nice crust, thin crust was so good. The wings were really good but it is a little hard around the edges.

    Very clean entrance.

This was mediocre at best. We got two different kinds of calzones and two different pizzas and nothing had flavor. It was very odd.

The pizza is great. I wish they sold slices since I have to wait for company to share a whole pie.

Food is really good, never been inside myself but eat there often. Only reason for 4 stars is I don't like the wings.

You can choose a bowl, a wrap, or a pita. They do offer sandwiches and other items as well. I decided on a bowl. I chose yellow rice instead of quinoa. I was able to have a few small samples to help make a decision. I also had lamb, chicken, garbanzo beans, spinach, three different hummus (feta, traditional, roasted eggplant), lettuce, tomato, feta, cucumbers, naan, and tzatziki over the top. I also decided to have a lemonade. They have several different lemonades to choose from and it's bottomless if you're dining in. I added so many items to the bowl the price was fairly high, but worth it. There's plenty of seating inside and it's a nice dining room. Very simple, but comfortable. I sat and enjoyed my bowl with pomegranate lemonade. Everything was delicious. I'm happy that I finally tried The Hummus Republic. I will definitely eat here again. Recommend giving it a try.

I got a pretty full bowl. I noted that the kale they had out had a number of dubious leaves in it, but the person picked around them to get me some nice green kale (if I were them I'd just dump the wilted ones). Vegetarian options were ample at all levels of the ordering process and indeed the only non-vegan component i ended up with was some feta. It was a salty and tasty bowl; oddly the salad greens were the only thing I got less of than expected. I also said what the heck and got what they call a signature tahini shake, which was absurdly filling to the point that I pretty much skipped a meal. Okay if that's what you want. Overall, not perfect but a quality place with options for most diets.

We enjoy coming on Tuesdays for the pizza deal. Today we ordered the shotgun shrimp appetizer, a side salad, and the 33 Deluxe small pizza. We also decided to try a strawberry and a blackberry lemonade. After a short wait our shrimp and salad were delivered. Both were good. Our lemonades were delicious! Of course the pizza was delivered after we finished our appetizers. The pizza was great. Our server, EmilyB, was great. Always positive and smiling. We also noticed Japanese baseball was on. Didn't expect that honestly. This restaurant always has an active and vibrant atmosphere. There's seating for all types and television screens everywhere. During football season, this place is packed! The reviews are all over the place. We have always had a good experience here. If you're unsure about trying Bubba's 33, I recommend giving it a try. They have a variety that fits almost all appetites.

Of course, the beer was flat in which I left half of it. On a great note! The food was incredible! Super job to the chef's in the back! I don't think I will be returning! BTW, I've been there about 6 times since you opened here in Jacksonville, and never had this type of experience and the beers were always poured perfectly. If this is your new practice of pouring, I think you may start to lose business to Ale House.

Large parking lot as the building sits in the front of a strip mall. Staff was very friendly. Service was very good but it was (maybe) 20% full on a Saturday night at 630. Marrakesh claims to be Mediterranean and they are somewhat correct. I consider Greek, Turkish, Italian to be more Mediterranean. OK, I'll give you Moroccan,, but no way Indian. India is in Asia. ( I know this sounds a little like bragging but I've eaten at many Greek & Turkish restaurants in my lifetime (high end to little, casual cafes), so for those who gave it 5 stars...they probably gave the Olive Garden 5 stars too) The menu is not big and has items from all the cuisines I mentioned above ( except Italy of course) The FOOD.... Apps --The Hummus was just pretty good. but the pita they served was dry like "store-bought". --The Grape Leaves (Rolled grape leaves stuffed with ground beef, parsley, and rice) were just OK too. --The Spanokopita; ( a Greek dish) a mixture of cooked spinach, feta cheese, and onion wrapped in phyllo dough.. was very good. Entrees --The Lamb Chops ( you get 4 of them) are the best bet here. Served with rice or salad. It may be the most expensive dish on the menu but well worth it. ( I did find it odd the server never asked how we wanted it cooked but they were juicy and delish) --I had the Three Meat Combo and choose three items: Chicken Tawook, Lamb, and Sheesh, served with rice and salad. All the meats were very dry. --Maqluba (Mediterranean rice casserole with a special blend of spices, chicken, cauliflower, carrots, and potatoes, served with salad) was tried by a few at our table. It's a huge portion of rice with stuff in it (it was very inexpensive at $16 but then again it was mostly rice) There was an item on the menu ( stuffed Cornish game hen) but they were sold out by 630pm on a Saturday night (odd). Desserts I found it odd that the menu only lists 2 desserts, yet when I asked there were approximately 5 more, including the currently popular Dubai chocolate cake or ice cream ( I forgot which but wish I chose it.) I'm glad I asked because our server never mentioned any specials. Warning: do NOT order the baklava. It was as dry as sand. Worst I ever had and I've had many. All in all the locals surely will like it because it is different and I doubt it has much competition. But if you are visiting and eat this type of food a lot back where you're from, buyer beware.
