Terrible experience from start to finish. The customer service was awful, and the people on the phone were incredibly rude. Using the F-word while speaking to a customer seemed completely normal to them, which was shocking and highly unprofessional. In the end, nothing worked out with this company - and honestly, we're very happy it didn't. My advice: read the reviews carefully before doing business with companies like this. I was sent over this company by a family member who had a wonderful experience. Booking was easy and they are incredibly responsive. I am coordinating my daughter's 1st birthday party from Washington State and the manager, Bernie, has been so responsive, knowledgeable and understanding. I have had to call to make changes to my reservation twice and, while firm, he has been willing to help me.. I am very grateful because it isn't easy planning a party from a different state, but it makes things much easier when I'm working with a company that seems to value my time as well. We had a horrible experience with this company. I had contacted them about renting a bounce house for my son's birthday, requesting a 1 PM drop off. I provided pictures of the narrow stairs & confirmed that they were able to navigate the stairs. They charged extra for stairs, no problem. They arrived early to the drop off location. Upon arrival, the delivery men were extremely rude. They scouted the location, didn't greet us, and refused to navigate the stairs. We were told we had 3 minutes to come up with a solution because they had other deliveries. It is not my job to time manage for them. The owner called me telling me this was my fault and that the drivers had been waiting for 30 minutes - they had been there for about 10-15 minutes max. He continued to tell me this was my problem & not his. All four hours before my son's party. I was frustrated about them not being willing to drop off the bouncer & then to be treated so poorly was disappointing. We didn't get the item we had requested & are having to scramble now. If they had been kind about the situation, this would be a different review. Do not recommend. read more

We used this company to rent a bounce house for my sons birthday at El Dorado park. They were fantastic. When I called to ask questions they were informative and told me what I needed, and didn't try to upsell or push my get anything I didn't need. I ended up adding some kid table and chairs which they added to my order no problem. They delivered bright and early and communicated the whole time. This place is very affordable. I researched many bounce house rental places and this by far was the cheapest and most convenient. I had one small issues if you can even call it that, more like an inconvenience. They told me the delivery time for the day of the rental would be between 9-11am. My event started at 12. I kindly asked if they could try to deliver it as close to 11 as possible. I got a call at 8:45 am on the day of the party telling me they were on their way to drop off the bounce house. I couldn't leave the bounce house unattended at the park so I had to wait at the park for 3 hours, it was a real bummer. Set up and take down were a breeze, I didn't have to worry about anything. May consider in the future because they have good pricing. read more

First off the tables they delivered was dirty not wiped down or anything secondly the wood chairs was very weak and felt like they were going to break. Then they just dropped the stuff off and left but expected me to pack up 80 chairs and 10 big tables not to mention 2 kids tables and 10 kid chairs for the next day pick up and not to mention they had 3 workers after paying close to $700 get out of here. I think it's crazy you pay all this money then they want you to pack up and do all that work smh I wouldn't recommend this to any of my friends just to save them headaches and money for dirty chairs and tables very unprofessional!!! Had a great experience with BR Party Rentals when I rented the Mickey Choo Choo Express for my son's 3rd birthday at Columbia Park in Torrance. You have the option to pre-pay with credit card for a fee or day of with cash. They also offer generators for an additional fee. They called me beforehand when they were on their way and the set up was very smooth. I wasn't around when they took the bouncer down because they were running a little late, but they said I could just leave it on with the generator running and someone would pick it up. Overall, the bouncer was clean and great quality and the kids loved it! read more

BR party rental is awesome! So happy I found my go to party rental place. I rented tables, chairs, linens for Christmas day and they delivered on Christmas day. They also accommodated me renting a canopy last minute due to the rain. Their website is up to date and ordering online is easy. After I ordered online, I got a phone call confirming my order and then an emailed invoice in a timely manner. Bernie was very professional and the guys delivering the goods also very professional. I wish I can give 4.5 stars, it's not a 5 star because canopy price was a little high. But even with that pricing i will remain a loyal customer to BR party rental. read more

I used BR Party Rentals again because of our good experience at my son's last birthday party... however think the quality was lacking this time around. The jumper wasn't as clean as before, guessing they were better at cleaning during deep covid era. I had to get in there with some soap and water to wipe everything down (it was dirty) Also my husband asked one of the employees if they could move the extension cord around the edge (so that nobody stepped or tripped on it) and he told him that he could do it himself - my husband - later. Other than that, I do like that they call to confirm the drop off the day before and are very prompt with drop-off and pickup. Prices are steep which I was willing to pay for the cleanliness but that was disappointing this time around. One more thing that was a bit annoying was that they charge you to use their extension cord! Sort of ridiculous considering how much you pay. read more

I hate writing bad reviews, so I'm giving them two stars, because they delivered the bare minimum of my event and I had tables and chairs, so it's not the end of the world right? It's COVID times, people have to make a living, and these guys are probably understaffed and stressed out, so I feel bad. But if someone is abusive to me over the phone for making basic requests, for a service I'm paying for, I have to say something. I ordered the wrong sized tables for my event, I owned up to it, and I asked if they could swap them out. They said yes, if you pick them up. I asked if they could deliver them, because I was still doing last-minute prep for my party and I was running around town. They said OK. I asked them to deliver tables from their headquarters in Highland Park to Cypress Park for three tables. It's a 15-minute drive. They said "you need to give us $20," and we did. Their hours are pretty awkward if you host night events. I had a party running until 8 pm on a Saturday, but their latest pickup is 7 pm, and if you do any later you have to pay an overnight fee. So I did, no big deal. They said they'd pick them up next day between a window of 7-11 am. After the party I was pretty tired, so I wanted to know if they could pick things up a little later in the day. They said it would be a full day's rental of everything. Even if for just a pickup in the afternoon? Yes. And they were coming at 7:30 am. I said, what about the window you gave me? Can't you come at 11 am? I was tired from the party and I didn't want to tear down tables and chairs right away for a very early pickup time. They said the driver was coming at 7:30 am. I said, not even 9 am? Then the guy's tone changed and said "You drive me crazy with your request to deliver tables, and now you're asking for this!" And I had to feel guilty about asking for very reasonable things. I said, I'm not trying to drive you crazy, if you couldn't do the delivery yesterday you should have said something. You can come get the stuff when you need to." So they came at 7:40 am the next morning, wordlessly collected everything, then five minutes later they knocked on the door and were like, "Where are our forks?" I ordered forks for the party, but couldn't find them in the original delivery, and I told them that. I was starting to get scared they were going to change their tone again. But then they found the forks in whatever place they had originally packed them and apologized. And then drove off, and I was relieved. Life is stressful, the furniture business is probably very stressful, and I won't use these guys again because they aren't very nice and definitely not accommodating. We rented 20 white plastic chairs from this company ($1.00 a chair per day) and due to the poor condition of the chairs upon receiving them, I spent three hours cleaning them (during a heat wave) so they wouldn't be an eyesore. The chairs had noticeable dirt, scrapes, and assorted stains. The chairs are not inspected or conditioned upon return to this operation clearly. "You get what you pay for" comes to mind. I would absolutely use them again but just be aware of the 3-4 hour delivery windows for public settings . We have booked BR Party Rental for two events now, and we're completely satisfied with our experiences with them. The first event we booked them for was last year. We had ordered 6 ft tables, chairs, and round cocktail tables for a grand opening business event. They were very easy to book with over the phone. All the rentals were clean and functional and we had no problems with set up or break down. Our second event we booked them for was for the same business, but a 1 year anniversary celebration. This time we ordered the same folding chairs, 6 ft tables, and cocktail tables, but added a combo bounce slide for the kids. Again, we were happy with their services. We had no issues with set up or break down, all the rentals were in good condition and the bounce house was actually better than expected. We ordered the combo slide, Mickey 4 in 1 and it was such a hit! I wish I wasn't pregnant for a day so I could have enjoyed it myself. The booking was a breeze. Bernie's team has to change the drop off and pick up time last minute, but due to our space limitations, I could not accept delivery and pick up at a different time outside of our contract. Bernie's team was able to work around and sent delivery on time, but it certainly added unnecessary stress on the day of our party to us and our venue that had strict delivery rules. They gave me a time frame to pick up the bounce house and tables/chairs from 5-6 & they show up at 4:30 and want to charge another $150 for another hour. The worst experience i ever had with a party rental business. The city only allows a few vendors so i didn't have much choice. Horrible customer service, they were rude all week. I held a graduation party for my daughter last night in SoPas and rented 5 tables and 40 chairs as well as 5 table cloths for $115 including delivery and pickup. All I can say is everything was delivered during the time frame they offered and picked up promptly at 9:15am this morning. It can get easier than this! Everything was clean although a few tables had some minor marks on them but the table cloths covered it all and provided a good presentation. Be aware however, they only accept cash.
