After paying $700 and 16 adjustments I was told I'd have to keep coming to see better results. f asked for my X-rays i was denied and given a very hard time. I was told that it was not my property since i signed a waiver stating it was now theirs. Fine print kind of stuff you miss if time not taken to fully read forms before being treated. My mistake. . I've only been to Dr. Lee twice, but both times were very helpful. I have bad posture and needed some help. Dr. Lee adjusted me so that I felt better almost instantly. I found Dr. Lee through groupon, and decided to give him a shot. I have been using his family's services for months now, and I feel I can give them an honest review. He recently moved to a new office which I like a lot better as it has better parking, and is very easy to find. This is a family run business between Joanne and Dr. Lee. They both do a very good job of being friendly, open, and making you feel good to come there. Their new office is bright, clean, and minimalist in a good way. Dr. Lee identified a misalignment in my hips, and has been able to adjust me in a way that I no longer feel pain throughout my back. I can lift weights, and be on my feet all day without issues. He uses a mix of hands on, and mechanical methods to adjust your alignment. He is also very good at listening to his patient's ailments and concerns. I believe this business thrives on a "package purchase" which can seem expensive upfront, BUT ends up saving you more in the long run. It also means you are not whipping out your wallet every time you come in. To me, investing in your health and SPINE is a worthwhile investment. I'd feel good about recommending anyone to see Dr. Lee and his wife Joanne. I truly feel they care about their patients. During this time of Covid-19, they have been screening patients, checking temps, spacing out appointments so that there is little to no overlap of patients in office, and observing physical distancing. They definitely clean and sanitize between patients also, and THEY WEAR MASKS. If your back is hurting, or your legs feel off, might be worth checking this place out. I had the pleasure of going to Dr Lee for my first chiropractic experience which I purchased through groupon and he was awesome! I bought the groupon deal which gave me 1 X-ray and 3 adjustments. I was very happy that he took an X-ray because it showed my spine misalignment which I believe has been the source of my neck and shoulder aches. Dr Lee is efficient , knowledgeable and patient. He knew that it was my first time so he took the time to explain everything to me and his wonderful bedside manner helped me relax which made the adjustment a lot less scary than I'd expected. BLUF: Life changing! Such a welcoming environment! Dr. Lee knows how to take care of his people So I hurt my self a few months ago doing deadlifts. Had a pretty rad lower back spasm. My friend recommended me to go to a chiropractor so I gave it a shop. I got his Groupon deal for 3 adjustments which was super affordable. He did an xray and concluded that my spine was def misaligned. After my first correction, I felt like a brand new man! I was standing straighter for the first time, and he balanced out the lengths of my legs. And the pain... GONE! Brad does not clean his hands between people. He thinks that every 3 - 4 people is good enough. I am so grossed out I stopped seeing him. He insists that nobody else complains, and nobody has ever got sick from him not cleaning his hands. Yuck! Checked with the Chiropractic Board, they have no standards for hygiene. Several years ago, I developed a numbness in my left hand. Not enough to cause me any concern; definitely not enough to get me to see a doctor about it. Over time, the numbness worsened, still not enough to cause me to get it looked at. Then Dr. Lee told me the numbness was caused by nerve blockage. After an initial consultation, x-rays revealed that I had subluxation causing the numbness. After a few visits, the numbness was gone. Since then, I've been seeing Dr. Lee regularly. And since starting regular visits, I haven't been sick a single day and I have more energy. I've been to other Chiropractors and can tell you Dr. Lee is in a class by himself. I'm a free lance court reporter and my job puts a strain on my neck, shoulders, back, fingers and hands as I type a lot on my shorthand machine and computer. Not to mention the many hours sitting down taking testimony in depositions or hearings and arbitrations. I have been to other chiropractors before but Dr. Brad Lee stands out for me. I heard of him through my insurance agent. Since word of mouth is the best referral, I decided to give him a try. I was at the point that my neck bone was straight instead of having that natural curve I was born with. It contributed to tight muscles in my shoulders and back resulting in pain and headaches. After a year with Dr. Lee, my neck is almost back to its natural curve. It took a while as I had calcification in my bones. (I've been a reporter for almost 30 years). I have very few headaches now. Everything feels better. I am especially thankful that I am taking care of my spinal column and keeping it healthy which is crucial to overall good health. I plan to continue chiropactic treatment for the rest of my life as a means of health maintenance. Dr. Lee really cares about helping you so if finances are a problem, he will work out a very affordable payment plan with you. Dr. Lee is a life saver! I started seeing him when I had pain from falling down some stairs. He takes X-rays and evaluates your situation. Everyone is different. If you are willing to invest in your health, then Dr. Lee is for you. Did you know it takes several adjustments in the beginning because you have to retrain your muscles to hold your spine correctly? Each adjustment helps and builds. It was about 6 adjustments when I realized I wasn't taking Advil every day and the shooting pain was gone. The building is safe and clean. Parking is validated! I've seen Dr Lee adjust infants, pregnant women, and people who have been in accidents. I've referred many friends who love getting adjusted. If you are curious try a Groupon to get started. I came to see Dr. Lee because I recently had a stiff neck (I couldn't turn my head and the pain kept me up all night). So what I did was I went on Groupon to see if they have any deals for chiropractic care because I know they always have those. I found Dr. Lee and realized that this was also my co-workers chiropractor so I went ahead and bought it. Getting to schedule an appointment with Dr. Lee was easy and the receptionist is really nice (Joanne or Dianne? Sorry!). When I went for my appointment she already knew who I was because I guess she was already expecting me. She was very knowledgable and gave me a lot of information about my spine and the central nerve system. It definitely gave me a lot of insight to why I might be having problems with my neck. Dr . Lee finally came to see me and got my X-rays. The next day I saw my results, turned out my neck was mis-aligned and have a lot of pinched nerves and I really need to have readjustments done by Dr. Lee to help me get better. It's no wonder why I got the stiff neck! I've been to other chiropractors and none of them have given me this type of care! Not too sure why there are such high ratings here, I got the impression that Dr. Lee doesn't really care about the patient and just wants money. Most likely won't go back and wouldn't recommend Dr. Lee to any new customers or anyone else that I know. I would, however recommend him to those that may have been previously injured and their insurance covers the costs of the visits due to the level of care he can provide after reading some of the other reviews on here. Bought a deal from Living Social to try it out for an x-ray and three adjustments for roughly $70. The first day, parking was easy to find in the Imperial Plaza parking lot and the staff was really nice and knew who I was when I walked in. After getting x-rays, it was shown that I need chiropractic care and received my first adjustment. The first visit was generally a good experience, Dr. Lee even called me on the phone after my first visit to ask how I was doing. The only shortfall was that I had to schedule a second adjustment for the day after. During the second visit the next day, Dr. Lee showed me a recommended year-plan, costing over $2k for 60 adjustments consisting of adjustments 2x a week for 3 months, then 1 adjustment a week for 9 months, costing roughly $35/adjustment. He made sure to remind me that I had one more adjustment left and told me to schedule it a week later. My third visit the following week consisted of 20 mins of waiting, with a 2 min adjustment. After the adjustment, Dr. Lee asked what I thought about the year plan and started to show me something on the computer. I told him that I thought it was a bit aggressive due to the pain and tenderness I was getting from the previous week and my work schedule would be tough to support 2x per week, hoping that maybe we could try a different plan. As soon as he heard that, he said, "Well, call me when you want to come in and good luck." I wanted to see what he was going to show me on the computer and he looked at me again and said, "Good luck!" At this point, I got the impression that he didn't want to have anything to do with me, and I replied, "ok", gathered my belongings, and exited the business. I am not too sure how everyone else's experiences went, but if it was like mine, I don't see how they would want to go back. It's almost like Dr. Lee doesn't care about the person, just wants to sell you a $2k plan and if you don't feel comfortable with that, you are shown the door. I really hope that others have better experiences than me and wouldn't wish that anyone felt the way I did leaving there the way I did. I understand that times are hard and we all need more money, but I wouldn't take it out on the customer. This type of attitude is potentially why customers don't return. read more

I went in because my fingers would get tingly and and I would frequent headaches. Dr. Brad took an X-ray and found out that my spine was curved. He told me it was a result of bd posture while doing homework and playing video games. He told me about exercises to negate the negative effects and stressed the importance was not hunching over for extended periods of time. After going into the office for a couple months I felt 100% better. He took another X-Ray and the my spine had become almost perfectly straight. I did not know it was possible to fix something like that so quickly. I highly recommend going to Dr. Brad for any of your issues because he can probably fix them. read more

I injured my lower back a few times after many years of sports and weightlifting. One injury left me unable to sit down or walk normally due to the pain. Dr. Brad helped me to resolve my pain through his adjustments. He also gave me stretching routines and exercises to help stretch and strengthen my core and lower back. Sorry, but our experience with Dr. Lee was not good. We met him at one of the events @ Blaisdell. Initial meeting was good & we went to a 1st free visit, that included x-rays for both my wife and I. We signed up for a 1 year program @ about $3,200. My wife and I have back challenges and she also has neck issues. I've had bad episodes where, for over a week after injuring my back, couldn't sleep, move, bend over without a lot of pain. Getting in or out of my car took about 5 minutes, using the bathroom, putting on socks or underwear was painful. After about 5 months, there was little progress from us going twice weekly. In fact, both of us got worst! We stopped going, no refund and money down the drain. What got me upset is after my back got bad because of his attempts at manipulating it; finally went to a medical doctor. The specialist I saw, sent me for an x-ray. He said that my lower back, L-4 & L-5 was off by 5mm and there was some compression between these joints. He asked if I had injured it before. Told him in my junior year in high school, I got hit in the back playing football. Since then, I've had challenges and as I got older it got more painful. The Dr. said that could have been it, there was NOTHING that could be done to move back & straighten out my L-4/L-5 region of my back. He sent me to physical therapy and wow, it really helped. They gave me exercises to strengthen muscles in my back area & core. Taught me how to lift properly, sit properly and do the correct exercises for back support. Even arranged my desk & computer at work & home so that ergonomically that everything was at 90 degree angles. Guess what, after this, my back has been so much better. I can work out, walk and golf without pain. What got me REALLY upset, pissed is a better word at Dr. Brad Lee was that he also TOOK x-rays of my back. HOW COME HE DID'NT see the 5mm shift in my L-4/L-5??? Never mentioned it ONCE!!! Isn't he supposed to be a Doctor, a medical professional in the chiropractic field? My wife's back & neck got worst too. Thank goodness she found a good acupuncturist that really has helped her. Oh, on another note Dr. Brad Lee got arrested at Honolulu International Airport because of a loaded handgun in his carry on. He was accompanying his daughter on a volleyball trip according to the news. But guess what, no news at all after the initial news release. Wonder if his father being a retired HPD officer or him being then President Barack Obama's classmate & teammate at Punahou helped with the suppression of news or even got him off with only a slap on the wrist? I'm so disappointed. My back/neck is messed up and I really was looking forward to seeing Dr. Lee for a chiropractic appointment. I bought a Groupon on January 29 for $70. It is supposed to include one chiropractic consultation with exam, X-rays, and three follow up adjustments. I called to make my appointment right after I purchased my Groupon. The receptionist was very kind and said that she would have to call me back. She took down my information and availability. I didn't hear back from her after 2 weeks so I called again and left a voicemail. Their office hours are very limited. Maybe this doctor didn't realize that over 530 people would buy a Groupon from him (number according to Groupon website). Anyway, it's been 1 month to be exact. I'm still in pain and I've never gotten a call back to set up an appointment. I contacted Groupon and they offered to call the business and speak to them about the situation. I appreciated their help but I just would much rather get a refund. Which Groupon did for me about 5 minutes ago. I really hate writing negative reviews. But it's a really unfair situation. I've been a patient of Dr. Lee since 2008. When I first started chiropractic, I had a shooting pain down my right arm. A nerve was pinched, and Dr. Lee adjusted me. After a few adjustments, no more pain or numbness, all is good now! I'm continuing a maintenance program with him today, as weekly adjustments keeps me going strong. I have never been to a chiropractor before but during my first visit, I took less than 5 mins to fill out forms and waited for a short period of time to get X-rays to diagnose my spine and then 4 minutes later received my first adjustment. I have gone to Dr Lee about a year ago via a Groupon deal he was offering for an assessment (xray) and adjustment. I didn't care to write a review at that time, but I've decided that it's important to inform others about my experience so everyone can think twice about this Chiropractic center. I have already warned my closest friends and coworkers. The office looks like an outdated, 80's preschool classroom with pictures of a human spine and other chiro related images on drab, grayish colored walls. There are waiting chairs set up where The Receptionist (Joanne, Dr's wife) sits to give you her two cents if you even dare talk to her. Not to mention the chairs are in the same direction as the ONE BED out in the open where patients get adjusted in front of an audience. It's like an assembly line...When you're finished, on to crack the next chicken's neck! Dr Lee explained everything in a jiffy and sounded like he's in a rush to get my "cheap groupon appt" over with in the least amount of effort possible. Way to make a first impression... After he took my xray, you can see that my L4&5 were crooked to one side. He told me I shouldn't lift weights, or run...and didn't prescribe what I should do then to exercise! This place is not welcoming at all and you can almost feel the money hungriness from Dr and wife. They don't care about your well being - they just want your money. I am ready to see a different Chiropractor now so I called today to request for a copy of my X-ray. The Receptionist answered, saying it will be $150 per copy because "so many people have been requesting for one and going to see other docs." THATS AN INDICATOR THAT PEOPLE DO NOT WANT TO CONTINUE COMING BACK!!! I called my new chiropractor to let them know that Dr Lee's office charges an absurd amounts for a copy of my xrays. Even the reception gal at the new Chiro sounded shocked. If you're really looking out for the well-being of people and really believe chiro will help patients...why would you charge a ridiculous amount for an X-ray copy? Why wouldn't you make it available via email if it's so costly for a printed copy? BEWARE of service type deals like these on Groupon. I never thought I needed to go to a chiropractor. I wasn't having any problems, no pain, etc. My friend who totally believes in getting adjusted for health and maintenance convinced me to go so I went. Dr Lee was so informative and nice, I felt comfortable and started to understand more about the importance of getting adjusted and just the way the spine works. I ended up signing up for a years worth and now almost a year later, I am writing a review stating my conversion in believing in the power of chiropractics! My postures gotten better, the xrays show my spine is getting more aligned, and I just feel better having an adjustment done every week. Dr. Brad is always so positive and upbeat. He takes the time to get to know me more and asks how things are going with work and how my latest trip was. I also enjoy all the random conversations I have with Joanne at the front desk. The location is great. There's plenty of parking, it's validated, and I'm able to get in and out of my appointment even with a little wait in less than 30min. I love Dr Lee!!! He's super nice and personable! I always feel better when I see him and totally trust him with my chiropractic care. He does adjustments by the package and at first I thought the price would be to high for me but when I broke down the sessions and what I was already paying it actually game out 6$ cheaper per session. His wife Joanne is the receptionist/assistant and it is the most organized office you will ever see! You get this card that you slide to check in, it automatically puts your name in rotation and then you just wait until your called. Bathroom keys/validation are all located at check in and you help yourself. The best part is you pick a day that's best for you between Monday and Thursday and that's your standing appointment. Jo also has you pick a backup day so if you miss your appointment you don't even have to reschedule!!! You show up on your backup day and it's all good. The Lee's get an A+ from me! read more

Lee is good, his receptionist is an idiot however. Went to him on a Groupon deal, which was fine. However, when it came to see if I wanted to continue seeing him for further treatment, which I was seriously considering, his dumb receptionist decides to cop an attitude. I wasn't going to fork over $1800 upfront for a year's worth of service. I simply asked if there are other payment options, like quarterly or if I front half now and half in 6 months. Very politely mind you, I just wanted to see my options. She gets all snarky and says I can go see other chiropractors because their clients are serious about their health. I wanted to give her the good old backhand right then and there because I saw the condescension in her stupid mug. She's also dumb because she said something like you could get worked on for 10 months. I asked how much is that and she just divided the $1800 by 10! Or in other words, I pay a year's worth but get jipped by 2 months service. Doesn't make a lick of sense. 1 star for brad because he's a decently cool cat and he cracked me good, minus 73 stars for the basket case taking calls who's horrible at basic math, timekeeping (her appointment taking skills suck donkey balls), and customer service. read more

I found Dr Lee via a groupon I had purchased. Having used chiropractic care most of my life as an ER nurse in the mainland, I'm not sure why I waited 10 years to find someone like Dr Lee when I relocated to Hawaii, but I'm so glad I did. I have suffered with chronic back and neck pain most of my life, with my work adding to the pain and chronic abuse. Having suffered a stomach bleed due to using too many NSAIDS to relieve my back pain, I came to the realization that if I wanted to continue to work, I needed an alternative. Dr Lee is working miracles on me, a slow process, but definite improvement. It took a long time for me to hurt my back, I know it will take awhile to heal, but feel I am on the right track. Dr Lee is friendly, honest, helpful, and optimistic, just what I needed when I was so discouraged. Chronic pain is a real thing, so debilitating. There is a solution without the use of medication. This review is based on my whole experience at this building. When I first arrived at the building I had a tough time finding scooter parking and the entrances to the office part of the building, its shares with residential. Upon entering the office it seemed clean enough and pretty well set up. I've never been to a chiropractor before and not sure if it's normal but it was very open, no privacy, you get adjusted in front of everyone. Now, the Chiropractor himself deserves 5 stars, his service, attitude, and knowledge was on point. I felt better afterwards and was even going to make this a regular thing. Now for where the 4 instead of 5 stars comes in to play. In arriving I spoke with the receptionist and was unable to clarify where I could park my scooter, so I found what seemed to be a good little nook where no signs were posted that I couldn't park. They towed me and the security was extremely rude about it. It cost me $200 to get my scooter back and the Dr. office wasn't any help. So in the end, great chiropractic work but I will find a building that lets me park there without towing me. Really frustrating experience. read more

I liked Dr. Lee and his staff is nice and friendly. The thing I didn't like is you have to sign up for a year's plan which is expensive and I feel like I'm in an assembly line where he has one table for one patient he works on and another table next to it for the next patient to get ready and wait for him. It's not a private room so everyone can see you although there is a counter between the tables and the rows of chairs where patients are waiting. If you break down the cost, I think it came out to about $35 a session which is competitive with other chiros. But when I consider that Dr. Lee's adjustments usually take less than 5 minutes while other chiros I've been to worked on me for about 15 minutes then the cost is expensive. At 5 minutes per session, can you imagine how much the doc makes if he sees 12 patients an hour? Very profitable set up. If you're willing to pay up, then I would recommend him.
