I went back he put another temporary crown in which fell off after 4 days (progress!) I went back to have the permanent crown put in. He installed the permanent crown which fell off after 2 HOURS. I called right away, they didn't answer and I left a voicemail saying I would be in the next day to have it fixed, they called the next morning and said they closed early and I would have to wait until the following day. I would consider that a dental emergency, but I guess they didn't. On my next visit he proceeded to grind my tooth further without Novocaine and install the crown. I told him it didn't feel right and he said "what do you mean" I said I had a lot of discomfort and the tooth didn't feel like it was seated correctly. I got up and left pretty agitated. I had to go to another dentist to have it repaired properly. Then he sends a letter saying I should find another dentist (thanks for the laugh). I would rather perform dentistry on myself before ever going to this guy again.

Here's my story: I have had a bridge on the side, a crown on lower back tooth and veneers on top front 6 teeth..spending over $15,000.00 out of pocket, after my insurance paid their portion ( but the money isn't the issue) I am constantly "aware" of my teeth. I feel the edges and surface of each individual tooth chafing and cutting the inside of my lips and mouth. The top and bottom of my tongue are raw. I'm conscious of this discomfort always: watching tv, reading, listening to music, trying to smile. My lips are always raw and chapped. I have returned to Dr Crystals office on 5 occasions with tears in my eyes pleading with her to shave, file , buff them even remove them ( which can't be done because she filed my teeth down to little nubs) The effects of these procedures have had such a negative effect on my day to day life. I'm not even worrying about their difference in shape, sizes and thicknesses . At this point that doesn't matter. Would I recommend you and your family go here? The office is beautiful and clean. You get a massaging chair... But me- I'm looking for another dentist. Any recommendations? One more comment- I have held off publishing this until after I got a copy of my records and X-rays. Clearly they do not value patient relationships and only care about maximum volume. I relocated here in 2024 from up north. Never had a problem like this before moving to LWR. Beware! #### Hello - Yesterday I had my six month cleaning at your office and following the appointment, I was told by the hygienist that due to current scheduling, she was not able to book me a new 6-month cleaning appointment and instead had to book my next appointment for 12 months out. Six month cleaning intervals have always been the gold standard of dental care. After expressing my concern, she said she could put me on a waitlist for a cancellation in six months. This is very disappointing on multiple levels. First, it is clear Lakewood Ranch Dental has taken on more patients than it can properly service which is now compromising patient health care. Second, the proposed solution of a waitlist for last minute cancellations is wholly inadequate especially for working professionals who frequently travel out of state. Advanced scheduling is a must. After expressing my disappointment, the hygienist explained that LWR Dental's schedule is so full because of frequent last minute cancellations (ostensibly the reason for your recently published updated cancellation policy). While I have no reason to doubt that is a current challenge for you, the fact is this is a LWR Dental business process issue of its own making that has now become your customers' problem. I challenge you to find an adequate solution to this situation or I will be forced to find a different service provider. This would be unfortunate because I really like Dr. Auletta, but your business processes needs immediate management attention.

I moved to Myakka city and still make the drive here because the other dentist I tried were closer but both did a terrible job that Dr. Hansill had to fix. Prices used to be much lower than others but they are under new management and have raised their prices to the normal. The office could use some upgrades but I don't go to the dentist to remodel. I go to get my teeth fixed and they do an amazing job at that. I got three gold caps that fit perfectly. My two front teeth cracked and broke off and she made them look great. My Reeses peanut butter habit is in good hands here with her cavity filling skills!

These ladies from Dr Gangi to her assistants were wonderful. I barely felt the numbing process. They constantly kept my clothes from being soiled and made sure my mouth was drained of excess water and liquids from cleaning processes. They explained every move. Best of all it's always so clean and comfortable while waiting. the wait time is never more than 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment, which is great to give me time to relax before service.
