Have used the Marina for Dolphin and Sunset tours in the past with great results. But that is no longer the case. The equipment is run down and beat up. Kind of tired and fed up attitude by the staff. You cannot hear the tour guide as she talks (which is not very often) since she parks herself in the back next to music playing with no amplified sound (which they used to have). The tour guide was actually a big waste of space and not worthy of a tip. Ohhh ... and don't try to get a beer or a wine on the boat ... the tour guide forgot the register (sounds like a bullshit excuse). Two hours on the boat with no water etc!! There are several other tour companies on the island running sunset and Dolphin tours use them!! read more

We store our center console there every summer. Over the years we must have spent close to $20,000 here, along with doing servicing. This year the boat was stored improperly and the power tilt/trim on the Yamaha engine was broken. We found this out halfway home and the engine was stuck in the up position, after spending almost $5000 at his facility for a 21 foot outboard. The chief mechanic, John, refused to send a mechanic to manually lower the engine so we could bring it back. We were a 15 minute drive from his facility. A neighboring marine facility sent someone immediately and manually lowered the engine and we got the repairs (over $1200) due to their negligence. I cannot recommend this facility. They are arrogant, greedy and have no concept about what it means to be in a service business. read more

We had the best time on the 10:00 am dolphin tour! Our family of 4 signed up online. It was super easy and fast. When we got there, they found our reservation and we were on our way! Roxanne and captain treated us to not only a tour to find see the dolphins but lots of information about dolphins and some funny stories too! The boat stopped when we saw a dolphin and we were treated to a show by one of the dolphins! If you aren't in to dolphins, it was a fun boat ride too! We also saw lots of pelicans and other birds. Roxanne did a great job answering all our questions. We enjoyed our tour and will do it again when we come back! read more

My complaint is that their pump out service has never worked correctly in the 3 years we have been here. Been to multiple marinas that work effortlessly and had no issues. We would really love if they updated their systems. Andy the fork lift operator goes above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need taken care of. The multiple people we have dealt with in office are helpful with what we need, but again the pump out system is a horrendous problem! read more

The boat they advertise was not available so we were split up into two smaller boats. The smaller boats are not as comfortable because they take the wakes more roughly. We did not see any dolphins. I realize there is a bit of luck involved, but it's called a "Dolphin Tour" so there's some expectation to see dolphins. read more

Came here on a Sunday and rented a Pontoon for 8 ppl. very easy and the staff was very friendly. they give you good information for you to enjoy the trip. follow the rules and advice and you will be fine. fuel was extra but came out to only 30 bucks more and we took the boat to almost Sarasota Bay and back. great for kids at the sandbars. will definitely be back to rent a bigger boat. read more

If you plan on keeping your boat here, take in consideration the below. We kept our boat here for 3 years and here is our experience. 1.) they are the only Marina with boat rentals, dolphin tours, sight seeing tours, gas station and maintenance for bottom painting and full servicing of large vessels. Keep this in mind as you're their last concern in terms of profitably as a business. Your dry stack payment just keeps the lights on. 2.) when you call to have the boat put in the water 1-2 hours ahead of time, get ready to ask them to put it in when you get there as they're probably busy working on someone's boat or Corey is in the front office. 3.) the owner "mike". I ordered 5 expensive batteries ($1500.00) to be put in the boat from Corey. I gave them a month to install them. Asked for my boat to be put in the water and showed up to see it sitting in the water with jumper cables hooked up to it as my batteries were sitting in the office. A MONTH LATER. Asked them to put them in but the owner "mike" who I've never met or knew is to busy trying to fix his forklift (to ensure rentals get in and out of the water I'm sure). The customer or anyone else shouldn't stay on top of the worker to ensure something gets done and when you forget to do something with ample amount of time and you drop the ball, you handle it. Idc how irritated you are to have a customer who uses his boat more than you'd like as it causes an inconvenience to you. I asked for help 5 times and "mike" says "Sir we can't help you today" in a rude tone. Guess what "mike"? How'd that work out buddy? You lost our 8k-10k/year. It would've taken 15 minutes to throw my batteries in and get back to whatever issue you had with your forklift. You towed our boat under a bridge and broke the T Top (which insurance covered) the second we put it in there! Every time you did service on it your guys never cleaned it! Never put the boat in on time and always had an attitude when I needed help or service or wanted the boat in the water. Half * operation. The other marinas that only focus on their dry stack customers charge the same $/ft so I'd start looking at the brand new ones in the area if you are shopping around! read more

My parents (who are FL residents) and I rented a bow rider boat for 4 hours from the Bradenton Beach Marina several days ago. My parents previously owned a boat in this area, so we have realistic expectations for boat life in Florida. Pros: -we were able to reserve with short notice (a week and a half in advance) and they had boats available -they got us out a few minutes early -the instructions and maps were very clear -the motor on the boat ran well Cons: -the boat was filthy (stains on the seats, empty beer bottles on the boat, and excessive black dirt on the deck - see my pictures) -the boat was in poor repair (many instrument gauges were broken, the Bimini top came loose due to a rusted pin, and the steering was very stiff) -there was some odd discrepancy with the fuel (the man at the rental said, "Shouldn't cost you much more than $20 in fuel for the afternoon", however, about 15 minutes after leaving the marina we finally found the gas gauge and it was at 3/4 tank. Additionally, when we returned the boat we were charged $32 for 8 gallons of gas. This was a bit confusing to use because the engine was a 115hp 4 stroke, and we idled for a long time in button bay and even stopped to use the bathroom during our 4 hours. In our experience, that's quite a high fuel burn for that time. We can't say with certainty what happened, but it seemed off.) Overall, if you don't care about the appearance/cleanliness/repair of the boat, this marina would be fine as long as you confirm that you have a full tank of gas before departure. However, if you're interested in a boat that is clean and fully functioning, then this isn't the place to rent from. read more

We rented a 14 person pontoon boat for 4 hours this past Saturday and I found the people who worked the marina to be helpful in making our arrangements. The same for the attendants who helped us to become familiar with the boat and also helped us with parking our cars on a day when there were no available spots anywhere. My only complaint was that the quality of the rental was below what I expected. It had seen it's better day and was pretty beat up. If I were to spend this kind of money on a future rental I would shop other area marina's for better quality rentals. read more

Honestly, this is a terrible facility - one of the worst marinas I've had the misfortune in which to stop. Aside from the super sketchy Z shaped approach through extremely shallow water to the Marina's fairways, you simply cannot get their staff to come assist with docking or casting off. This is a real problem given the half length fixed docks which make it a real challenge for crew members to get off and secure lines. Aside from these issues, the bathrooms are quite small and dirty and there are no amenities nearby. Finally, the night we were there their VHF radio was broken so you had to call them and they allowed a large powerboat to tie up overnight on their fuel dock making it almost impossible to get out. Stop further north or further south, but in my opinion this would be a "use only in case of emergency" facility. read more

This place just sucks. I'm sorry. We have kept our boat here for THREE YEARS and it SUCKS. The lack of urgency and quality of service here is unacceptable. We have been so patient with this place time after time. Every time we call HOURS in advanced to put our boat in the water we have to wait at least 45 minutes after we arrive to even think about it being in the water. Not only that but when we first put the boat here they pulled it under a bridge and ripped the T top off... Now they did fix this but it took time. Last summer someone hit our boat and broke the power poles after having paid to have them fixed multiple times they still weren't working properly and haven't even been synced up to the remote properly. WHAT ARE WE PAYING YOU FOR? We've been having issues with our boat for the last six months and I've had them diagnose it, check it and do everything they suggested with no solution. Now it needs new batteries so we wait a month and decide to put the boat in today and the batteries haven't been changed and they're only excuse is that the only guy they have today is working on a pontoon boat and working on their broken forklift. Are you kidding me? You can't take 30 minutes to switch the hundreds of dollars worth of batteries we just purchased from you in our boat that we pay $500 a month to store in your facility. WOW. We are done here. Save yourself a headache and some money and go anywhere else! The owner, Mike, offered to fix my rub rail, which they sort of did. The outer rubber came loose of the first sail. My instrument antenna remains trashed, a 700 dollar fix.
