It sounded good, looked pretty, but had no discernible flavor. It almost seemed like they put a splash of Hawaiian Punch in seltzer water. For starters we shared the Calamari. The breading was good and crunchy. The Calamari had a nice taste but was very chewy. We also shared the Coconut Shrimp. The shrimp was cooked perfectly & the coconut breading was delicious. The dip was delicious, had a nice bite to it & perfectly complemented the shrimp. For our meals I had the Crab Cake Sandwich with a side of Coleslaw. The coleslaw was mushy but had a good flavor. The Crab Cake was mostly filler. It did have a nice flavor, but I prefer more crab meat to filler ratio. DH had the Blackened Grouper Tacos. He said it was just ok. The highlight of his meal were the delicious fries that he got with cheese & bacon on them. Our friends had the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos & the Surf & Turf Tacos with a side of fries. They were not impressed with their meals. They said they wouldn't get them again. Will we be back? Nope.

Given how beautiful the evening turned out, the scenery was revealing- beautiful homes, unfortunately Some destroyed by Helene and Milton- some being restored. Overall, a worthwhile experience that will be repeated. Full bar offered as well.

Captain Tom was our skipper and he was unprepared and more concerned with his plans after our charter than he was about giving us a great fishing experience. Nice guy and quite the talker but it ended there. Not a single pole was set up for us and he only had 1 type of bait when that time of the year calls for multiple types of bait. He spent the first 40 minutes driving us to a spot that was already taken and then setting up each pole. We caught minimal fish and in the end we took home enough fish for a child's fried fish basket. $600 plus tip was quite frankly a rip off. Very disappointing indeed... 4.5 stars for CB Outfitters and 1.5 stars for Captain Tom. I do not recommend Captain Tom for your fishing experience...

If youre coming from Anna Maria, it's the first left over the bridge, so be ready to turn. We rented a fishing pole and bought some shrimp from Annie's bait shop next door (didn't catch anything though). If you fish, I think you need a Florida fishing license, which non residents can get for $17 online and it's good for 3 days. Dale programmed dolphin and fishing and sandbar spots into the GPS. It was easy to find them and stop. The only reason I gave 4 stars is price. Currently, other companies say they will deliver for a full day rental for the same cost as 4 hours at H20.

We saw a group of sharks out by a sandbar, found a crab on our snorkel, picked up some beautiful shells. Our kids enjoyed it and our captain was great.
