Service is usually quick, and the customer service is great. This is the first boba place that consistently has good boba, and good customer service. I ordered a black milk tea with 50% sugar, which is similar to medium sweetness here, and with less ice. First, the boba tasted great, it was easy to order and the service was great and super friendly! The options were great for kids and adults and I love how many can be sugar free! The bar is cute and does have a few tables , but the space is small. I assume it's a mostly to-go stop. My 3 stars are solely for the inability to tip the staff. They accept cash only tips and that is pretty crappy of the owners unless they are paying those kids $30 an hour or commission, then gtfo. I'm SURE those kids make minimum wage, and the drinks are pricey.... For tea. I won't support places that put blocks in the way for their staff to earn an extra dime. I hope the staff knows they are worth more. Update: the owner responded trying to justify it, but it's a service job and it's America, they deserve the option for tips. Shame. read more

I was initially hesitant to visit, given that it's a boba shop in a mall - I've found that, at least in my experience, mall boba is typically below average to bad. Still, given the good reviews at Braganza, I decided to give it a chance. Black Milk Tea, Med Sweet w/ Boba ($5.95) - The bobarista told me the medium sweet is similar to half sugar at other places. I'd say it's a little more than half, but it's not an unpleasantly high sweetness level. The drink is on the thicker and more creamy side. The drink flavor is interesting. I'm not sure that it actually comes from the tea. It tastes kind of like chocolate mixed with the essence of cantaloupe perhaps. Hard to describe, but upon my first couple of sips, I wondered if there was some cross contamination going on. I can't recall ever having this type of flavor in a black milk tea. One topping is included and I, of course, went with the boba. The boba is surprisingly very good. Good chew and bounce, smooth and sweet. The chew is the same level throughout the pearls, instead of being softer on the outside and more firm on the interior, as with most other bobas. I love bubble tea and boba but my friends aren't as keen of the tapioca pearls, but Braganza's boba are small and cooked perfectly--which they also loved. My favorite drink is the blended milk tea which is perfect on a hot summer day, while I also adore the honey milk tea--all with boba of course. The service is great and they know what they are doing. Admittedly, it's rare I'll turn down an iced tea I always get a strawberry mango iced tea with lychee jelly, but I like to switch up the base from time to time. It's closed off most of the time, but this location has an adorable little nook that makes such a good hang out spot with friends! I've been coming here the past year and the service has always been great. There's a location on the north end of the mall outside and one on the south end by the food court inside the mall which tends to get pretty busy. I like to go to the northern one because it's less crowded and more convenient for me since I tend to be in the northern part more often. The drinks are pretty solid. You have your choice is smooth teas (love the pun there), milk teas, and ice teas. Each one has different flavors that varies giving you many different combination of drinks. On top of that, there are toppings like boba and jellies that are pretty standard for most boba joints. So you can build your drink to your liking no problem. The last couple times I was here, I got a mango smoothie and a jasmine green ice tea with lychee jelly. I was pleased with both drinks. This is definitely a great spot to stop by at during the summertime or hot sunny days when you need a refreshing drink to cool off. The tea bar tends to be regularly clean and is a brightly lit spot that's good for studying or enjoying a good book. The giant windows also gives you a wonderful view to simply stare and space out. Bubble tea place in the mall sums this place up. It is a nice store located on the outer edge of the mall. They have a decent selection of bubble teas and smoothies and add ons. The downside i have is sizes. It is more or less take it or leave it so unless you are sharing with the kids or ok with the kids chugging a large drink, this may not be the place. The staff is friendly which is a big plus and flavors was pretty good based on the flavors we got. Overall, if I am at the Alderwood Mall and craving a bubble tea, i may stop by here. They are wizards at logistics. Their line is always a mile long and yet the wait for your drink between order time and pickup is usually less than 2-3 minutes. It's absurd. Whoever designed their workflow deserves a massive promotion. The boba is ok and the matcha is good. The honey matcha is really tasty. My Husband drives us 2 hours round-trip to visit Braganza for drinks. We live 60 miles away, not 2 minutes down the street, not 2 miles away, 2 hours round-trip. So when we place our orders, I usually ask if they could please fill the cup to the top. I want to make the trip worthwhile. Each time the staff are happy to comply. It's no sweat off their back. Today, there was a girl who I had not seen before who made our drinks. When she brought the cups to the counter to seal, I asked her again to fill it up. She said okay but sealed it as is without topping it up and when she handed the drinks to me, there was the obvious 1" head gap. I asked her nicely again if she could fill my cup up with the leftover that was in the blender pitcher right there on the counter. Well, that request annoyed her. She proceeded to point to the very top line of the cup and said she can only fill it to that line otherwise it messes up the sealer. I absolutely understand that but there was still a substantive gap between the top of the smoothie she gave me and the safe line she was pointing at. Instead of maintaining a good attitude, she repeated herself again but with more annoyance, pointing to the top of the cup, insisting that she filled it up. It was obvious she didn't like being told she was wrong. I turned the cup to her and showed her again that the amount of liquid did not reach the line she kept pointing to. It was below her finger. She ended up pouring my drink into a new cup and added more to it from the leftover. With attitude, she asked me if I approved. By that time I was pretty put off having to deal with a young person who has never been taught good customer service. This pompous brat is definitely not a good representative of the Braganza brand nor is this the normal level of service we have received for the past few years of going there. I think the next time we want a smoothie, we will look to somewhere closer to home. Driving 2 hours to deal with an immature imp is not worth it. read more

A solid mehhh. I got the Honey Matcha Milk Tea. The matcha flavor is really mild as is the honey. The pudding that they highly recommend with milk tea is not great and honestly ruined the tea for me. They forgot to add boba to my order and I only realized after I got to my car and opened my drink so had to walk back inside for them to fix it which they did by adding a spoonful to a new cup and transferring my drink to it. Overall it's a very mehhh kinda boba milk tea if you're used to some of the really nice ones in Seattle and around. p.s. Came here yesterday with my boyfriend and was so pleasantly surprised!! I got the jasmine mousse and it was perfect - strong tea flavor and perfectly salty cream. It was my boyfriend's first time having boba so he had a lot of questions but the girl who helped us (I think her name was Linh), was so patient and sweet. Not to mention she's so pretty.
