Stopped in on our way up to Mt. Rainier. The three of us each had a different drink. Each one was delicious - my favorite was the salted coffee. Clean - bright - has a cute selection of merchandise- clean restroom (gender neutral) Staff are all polite and friendly and knowledgeable.

Ding Tea is a widespread boba chain that I usually find to serve average to above average boba. This location is surprisingly good and I feel like it's well above the typical Ding Tea in quality. Signature Milk Tea, Large, 50% Sweet, 50% Ice w/ Golden Boba ($7.25) - In typical Ding Tea fashion, the milk tea is heavier on the creamer elements and lighter on tea taste. This is pretty consistent throughout Ding Tea branches, so it's kind of expected at this point. Still, the sugar level at 50% is fine and there's no harsh chemical creamer or heavy fructose taste. This drink will hit the spot for anyone looking for a sweet drink with slight tea flavor and a lot of body. I do love that this location gives the choice of either brown sugar or golden boba. I went with the golden this time, which is Ding Tea's signature. The boba here is cooked very well - round spheres soft enough to depress a bit between the tongue and the roof of the mouth, yet firm enough for an exceptional chewy bounce. A slight sweetness on the exterior of each pearl gives an additional saccharine element. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 5/5 Ding Tea Lynnwoods serves some solid boba. Although it's not my top choice up north, it's an easy pick if I happen to be eating in that plaza and don't want to travel further.

Not my favorite, unfortunately, I wanted to like this spot, but the actual taste and tea I received was just too sweet and a little bit chemical-artificial flavored. I appreciate the selection of flavors they did have, and the diversity on the menu. But I would say if you're going to try here, definitely don't get full sweetness, you can probably handle something half sweet and be just as happy. I will say that the decor, the space itself, and the convenience/Parking is really nice. I thought the atmosphere was a great place to visit and I would highly recommend others trying the spot, but my honest review is I will not be gravitating to hear again.

Very nice food and the worker is very nice. The worker who made my drink is very polite and made my drink fast. I think her name is Thaylar. Thank you Thaylar for making this a nice location

Our group got several bobas and I loved the jasmine milk tea with brown sugar boba and also the winter melon milk tea with crystal boba! Both boba types were prepared perfectly! Right texture and sweetness/flavor. I ordered them with 30-50% sugar and they were sweet enough for me! If you don't like things too sweet, go for 30%. The milk tea is non dairy which was perfect for my lactose intolerance and winter melon is caffeine free too. Their service is awesome! Staff is welcoming, friendly, and efficient! We didn't wait long at all for our order. They have 2 private bathrooms which were kept clean. Accessible as well. Ample free parking in the shared lot. Ambience is very cozy with lots of different seating options. Nice to chill and chat with friends. They have board games you can play too!

Great quality and friendly service, definitely a good alternative to 85 bakery that's next door. The matcha green tea with boba and red beans was good and adding only 30% sugar made it just perfect.

Vietnamese Manga Collection- InuYasha, Doraemon, etc.

Reviewing for 36 Streets Coffee. The inside was really nice but what I really liked was the collection of Vietnamese translated manga and comics!! From InuYasha to Doraemon; the collection is so extensive I can only imagine how long it took to collect all that. I loved the Vietnamese yogurt coffee and thought it was very unique. The Tartiness paired well with the sweet coffee. And the yogurt taste just like Vietnamese yogurt. To be honest the hot salted Vietnamese coffee was too sweet for me. for me personally it tasted like too much condense milk, which I prefer it to be more subtle. Some people like the condense milk taste- but personally I don't. The yogurt actually works well with the coffee because the tartiness levels out the sweetness. I would get it again (:

I was initially told this Ding Tea didn't have golden boba like the one around University District but I guess they do! Stopped by here to chill and play some board games to catch up, thought the drinks were comparable to the Ding at UW and they had indoor seating which the UW location still needs to bring back. Saw some interesting seasonals like Blueberry Milk Tea but didn't sound too good, more like a drink from old powdery chains. Snagged a Taro Milk Tea with Golden Boba, Hokkaido Oolong Milk Tea, Wintermelon Milk Tea, and Vanilla Milk Tea. Taro Milk Tea with Golden Boba - drink is exactly the same as the UW location, taro is a safe pick. Golden boba was inconsistent though. There were some bouncy pearls but some others were undercooked and a bit firm. Not sure if this was two batches of tapioca or what, but it could be better. Hokkaido Oolong Milk Tea - extremely sweet, highly recommend cutting back on the sugar here. Otherwise it's a strong black and oolong tea mix with brown sugar mixed in. Wintermelon Milk Tea - wintermelon is delicious and this drink is no different, always a safe and consistent pick. Though I will say at 70% sugar it still tasted like 100%, so I would cut down further to 50% or even lower. Vanilla Milk Tea - experiment of the day gone wrong. This drink tasted like vanilla protein powder mixed with water but without the nutritional value. Would never order this again, especially because vanilla protein is the worst flavor by far.

    Noice!

Parking: No issues in the strip mall. Time to Order: 7 Minutes We stopped into Tobi's on the way home from a failed fishing trip up north and were craving something sweet. Holy moly, what a hidden gem. I tried the creme brulee pearl latte (my friend's which he ordered by accident) and the dalgona honeycomb toffee latte with boba (my drink). The creme brulee pearl latte was probably the best creme brulee drink I've ever had. I usually avoid these because they're overly sweet, but this one actually hit all of the notes of smokiness, creaminess, and flavor without overpowering sweetness. Actually impressive. The dalgona honeycomb toffee latte was phenomenal. Strong coffee flavor (which means a lot coming from me - only Vietnamese coffee affects me anymore, I have a strong caffeine tolerance) and the toffee is a great topping that retains its texture even after the drink is completed. The boba texture was perfect in a cold drink, the toppings were unique, and the drinks were excellent. Highly recommend as a hidden gem.

I got the toffee milk tea with matcha jelly at 30% sugar and 70% ice. This was the IDEAL combination. Perfectly sweet with a hint of the bitterness from the tea. The matcha jelly was firm and earthy, I broke it up with the straw and it was the perfect topping. One of the best milk teas I've had in a while. I will definitely be back to try their other flavors. The boba here is perfectly chewy and sweetened. I am not much of a jelly person, but they're pretty good too. I once got a drink with both boba and jelly and it didn't leave much room for the tea, so I have to limit myself to one topping now! The black tea is slightly muted with the milk there, so that there's no astringency. The buckwheat tea has a pretty strong toasty buckwheat flavor. Yum! Initially, when this business opened, parking was horrible with people jousting for street parking (with an already busy Goodwill down the street) and people parking at the plaza across the street (which will get you towed). Now that the hype has died down, you can use the Ember parking garage around the corner, although it's kind of annoying to park in.

Fortunately, there was no traffic so it was a 20 min drive easily. However, a lot seemed to have changed from about a year ago? We got popcorn chicken which was $9 for a very tiny plate (like the medium size sampler food container you get at food tasting events) which is a joke of a portion, and the chicken was not even good quality - heavy on the batter. Compared to pictures a year ago, where the portions looked much much larger. They are so stingy on the amount of chicken, that I thought they were giving us a sample to try before they make a real batch lmaooooo. I tried the Kocochi milk tea with creme brulee, boba, jelly, etc. Sounds good on paper, inflation I get it, was expecting $7 but it was $8, plus tax, so it is actually not that competitive of a price anymore now that I think about it. I could get a very good quality boba drink for $7.50+tax elsewhere without all the fancy toppings, but with boba included. I was pretty disappointed with the quality. The boba is so overcooked that it is mushy, and the creme brulee was not thick enough that I have to use a spoon to even be able to get any of it out (instead of being able to drink it from the other side which is what it is supposed to be). I'd avoid this place unless this is a one off but I will need to be redeemed a better experience before recommending this place. There are better options in the area
