I enjoyed the rich flavor and the fruit pieces of durian in the drink. The durian flavor was the most expensive item on the menu, but I thought it was worth trying. The facility was spacious and clean -- perfect for chilling. This place was also great for grabbing a drink quickly. Definitely will come back. Okay here's our crazy experience here! We decided to go here after ordering our Sushi Blue food right across. It was also recommended by a friend! Service was pretty good, prices are a little higher for boba but honestly, it's norm now. Parking is great. We got the durian fresh milk and the coconut ocean AT FIRST. I'll be totally honest, I used to love durian growing up. I knew I was taking a risk because my adult taste buds changed. I know it stinks and I know it has an acquired taste. But when I tell you the SMELL that came out of that straw was rancid (if you know, you know LOL) and felt like home. When I tasted it, I totally gagged, and took 3 sips just in case. I threw it away. LOL but I was too shy to ask for a new drink because I should've known. The ocean coconut was really good, really basic but looked pretty. It also reminded me of my childhood drinks. My bf didn't like it, so I took it because I loved it. My bf went back inside and bought the Ube latte. The UBE LATTE WAS AMAZING. I've had many Ube latte's in my life and this was my favorite. The sweetness, the Ube flavor and the boba was all 10/10. Most Ube flavors never come through in milk teas but this one you could clearly taste it. I loved that there was the gritty texture from the Ube that I loved as well. Although we had a rough start; the Ube latte redeemed it. I learned the lesson of to not be too adventurous hahahah. Mustache MilkTea is definitely my most frequented boba place in the area! Their drinks are consistently good, the service is very friendly, and the overall experience is fun and convenient. As a Vietnamese person, I love seeing all the Vietnamese inspired flavors such as durian, salted egg yolk, and ca phe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee). I recently got to try their seasonal Mangosteen Oolong Tea and would rate it a 4/5. The herbal oolong flavor comes through really strong which is something I love, but the fruitiness of the mangosteen can be a bit sweet despite being at 50% sugar. Located in a huge plaza with tons of parking; I see no issue with ever finding a spot when stopping by. When you enter, you're instantly greeted with friendly smiles and an upbeat playlist. Tons of seating for different party sizes so you should never have an issue finding a spot unless it's a busy day. The drinks were good! The ingredients tasted fresh and didn't have that artificial taste that you sometimes learn to expect. The Avocado Ube hit the spot and had a nice texture. I got to share this with a new review because this is too cute to not share. My hubby and I stopped by here, while we were running errands and decided to buy some drinks and a snack. I ordered the mangosteen oolong but they were out. I will definitely be back for this, they use real fruit and it's delicious. Worth the traffic and drive to come here. The service is outstanding, never had any bad service. The croc shaped mozzarella cheese and sausage is sooooo cute. So cute that I want to share with the Yelp world. It's so funny because I'm able to tell my spouse to "an dep" in Vietnamese, a slang that parents tend to use when they are teaching their kids. Haha I should also note that, I see you, Mustache. Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #58 I enjoyed the soft opening for the Shoreline location of Mustache MilkTea so much that I decided to make a special trip up to the original store. Roasted Oolong Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, 50% Ice w/ Boba ($6.75) - Starting with the tea - this location seems to be much heavier on the creamer than the other. It's almost to the point of becoming unpleasantly creamer heavy, with a bit of a powdery texture. This makes it so that most of the tea flavor is covered up and leaving only a hint of a somewhat smoky oolong in the background. At least the sweetness at half is good. Half ice is too much, meaning there is a ton of ice left over after cooling the drink down completely, allowing the drink to water down more and more as time passes. The boba is also a slight step down. The pearls are too firm and haven't had enough cook time to fully expand, resulting in smaller boba than usual and centers that have a bit of a grainy texture, rather than being smooth. I don't think they stir enough either - some spheres stick together and are clearly undercooked, being firm and chalky. As a side note: the Shoreline location uses thicker premium plastic cups for their drinks. This one uses thinner cups. Milk Tea Rating: 3.5/5 Boba Rating: 3/5 I wonder if they redirected all their resources into Shoreline, because the drink I received here seems like a step down from the other location. TL;DR: Came twice within a week. First in-person visit was fine, but the second time ordered online, the ice-to-drink ratio was ridiculous. See pics. Ordered three drinks, all packed with excessive ice. Not sure if this was just an off day or if ordering online made a difference, but my first visit earlier this week didn't have this issue. When the ice melted, it was clear that nearly HALF the volume was just ice, meaning you're paying $6 for half a drink. The pictures speak for themselves. --Interior Trendy, modern decor with a cool, hip vibe. Vibrant signs on the walls. --Service Cashier was nice, but they charge $1 extra for less ice, which is pretty lame. --Drinks Flavors were actually good, but the ice-to-drink ratio was way off. At this price point, there should be more actual drink and less filler. --Overall I wanted to give this place a higher rating given that there's not many boba options around the area, but the second visit left a bad impression. I hate to be a Karen when it comes to this kind of stuff, but for $6+ per drink, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect more drink than ice. read more

Stumbled upon this on Yelp because I was in the area and was craving something sweet. It was ok, nothing that stands out to me more than your average bubble tea spot. Young Asian boy was manning the register. It wasn't busy, but he was weirdly acting like it. Zero customer service and was just greeted with "what would you like to order?". It was a hot day and this place was packed!! The line to order was long. The inside is very cute "instagrammable" with plants and fun neon signs. I noticed a white rabbit candy smoothie on their menu and was curious about it, so took a chance and ordered it. It took a while to get my drink since it was so busy and people were ordering multiple drinks to take to go. My smoothie was DELICIOUS - it tasted just like the white rabbit candy! Anywho, I actually haven't been to a Mustache Milk Tea since then but I went to the grand opening in Shoreline before moving up north and I found out they have Rose flavored tea which is always a win in my book. Not many places have Rose and I'm so excited they have the Lychee Rose tea because paired with aiyu jelly, UGG! So good! It might be a bit dangerous living less than 5 minutes away from my new place now... but you know what? Why not! Life is short. The ube flavor was strong and the avocado flavor wasn't there but I love ube so this worked out for me and it was at 0%. The lychee red rose was also good but it was sweet even at 50% sugar but still very good. I would get this again at 0% though. I have heard good things about this place from my friends so while up north, I made a visit to this place. I got their salted egg yolk fresh milk with boba which was really tasty. The boba texture is just perfectly chewy and the salted egg yolk was really flavorful and goes really smoothly with the milk. It is definitely one of the better boba spots out here in the greater Seattle area. The reason I gave a 1 star instead of a 5 stars is because they are super haphazard in handling the drink. I paid over $9 for the drink, yet they didn't bother to remake the drink when they gave me the wrong topping (egg pudding). You know what they did? Simply poured the drink in a new cup minus most of the egg pudding (keyword most) and then slapped on boba. The resulting drink I got lost most of the presentation and some liquid (again, I am paying over $9 for the drink so I am also paying for the presentation like most restaurants), and there were still remnants of egg pudding. That is NOT okay. What if someone is allergic to ingredients in egg pudding? I am not, fortunately, but what harm is it to just completely remake the drink??? read more

I've seen this place frequently on instagram reels, so I'm glad I had the opportunity to try it out! The interior has plenty of seating, while also maintaining a cozy atmosphere. You're immediately greeted as you walk in and the service is fairly consistent. There's quite a lot of drinks to choose from and they also serve a type of pastries with filling in them. My friend and I decided to only do drinks though! I got the mustache milk tea while my friend got the brown sugar milk latte. The mustache milk tea is just the original black milk tea, so nothing too special about it. So I call the store directly to make sure that they don't put any cheese foam in my drink. Every time I call them after I order because I can't stand the cheese foam. They always say they wouldn't put any in, but there have been times that despite me calling they still put it in. I can't drink it with the cheese foam. Cute little bubble tea shop and friendly staff. I got the Very Strawberry Green Tea and the Red Guava Green Tea. I got them both at 50% sugar level, so they weren't too sweet at all. The tapioca texture was good, but there didn't seem to be a good enough amount of toppings; I would need to double it next time. My bf got the Oreo Cookie Smoothie and added vanilla ice cream and whey protein, and he really enjoyed it. You barely see any bubble tea places that offer protein as an add-in. read more

I was on the way back to Renton from Everett when a friend asked if I wanted to stop by Mukilteo on the way back to get boba. I had no clue there was good boba in Mukilteo. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. You immediately smell durian on the way in and that's how you know this place is legit. I didn't get the durian this time, but I do plan on it at some point. I went with their matcha series and I think the one I was got was called the matcha coconut refresher, might be a limited time item. As the name suggests, it tasted like matcha and coconut and was refreshing! My friends enjoyed their bobas as well and all I can say is that this is a place worth trying. read more

Located in the LA Fitness Plaza, plenty of parking especially once the gym is closed. The ambiance inside is very cool, lots of lit up signs. It has 6 small tables & 2 large ones. We came in around 10pm on a Saturday Night & it was pretty busy. It took a good 5 mins or so until the cashier could take our order. He had like 15 drinks queued up that he was trying to hand out to everyone & pack them into bags. Both drinks we had were bomb! Fiancé loved his avocado durian (fresh) but couldn't taste too much avocado. Price is pretty steep at $8.50 plus tax. The Red Guava Green Tea was light & sweet! They do stamp cards which is nice, free milk tea or other drink (except durian drinks). Knocked off a star due to the wait, and they didn't call out people's order # so we had to go up ourselves to grab the drinks, saw it just sitting there for a few mins.
