Tom Keegan, the paralegal Karra, and Janie~the colleague as well as office receptionist are all awful with assisting their clients, as well as being negligent with assisting their clients. They don't listen to their clients, they do what they want to do, as well as ignoring their clients requests. They're very argumentative with their clients in regards to what their clients wants which is very unethical and a cause of legal malpractice. I highly suggest that anyone that may need a lawyer, to find a different attorney. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT let this law firm represent you or handle your cases because they will prolong and drag your case out for months and months at a time, and you'll be waiting over a year to a year and a half just to hear something back from them regarding your case. Once again, I honestly, truly wish I could give this law firm zero stars. My experience was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this firm to anyone seeking reliable legal representation. Throughout my case, there were significant communication issues. My concerns and instructions as a client were repeatedly overlooked, and messages went unanswered for long periods of time. I often had to follow up multiple times just to receive basic information about my case. Instead of feeling supported and represented, I felt dismissed and ignored. Delays were constant, and there was a lack of clarity regarding the progress of my matter. What should have been handled efficiently was drawn out far longer than necessary, leaving me feeling uncertain and stressed. Professionalism and client respect should be a priority in a law office, but unfortunately, that was not reflected in my experience here. BEWARE: PLEASE TAKE CAUTION.... Please, Please, Please, I advised anyone and I strongly recommend that anyone seeking legal counsel consider other options. In November 2021, Bradley Freiss of Reinsulate America, highly recommended by Home Advisor/Angie,…read morescammed me of over $3000.00, a long, frustrating and lingering lawsuit, which was finally resolved by the sheriff's office 1 year later. HK Recovery Group, however, also went to bat for me, and immediately, putting pressure on Freiss, warning him of the consequences of his refusal to pay the judgment, and finally freezing his accounts. Although the restitution was awarded by the sheriff, HK was in fact very proactive, and their involvement I'm sure prompted Freiss to reconsider his conduct and eventually surrender the judgment owed over to the sheriff. Despite not receiving monetary gain from their promptness and resolve , HK remained very professional and supportive, never asking me for a dime as a result of their effort and my judgment award; in fact, they even awarded me a check for their recovery of additional fees exacted from Freiss and Reinsulate America. There are not enough stars on this review page to reflect the support, professionalism, courtesy and indeed my own gratitude for this company, and should I ever find myself or anybody I know in need of such services again, I will not hesitate to contact HK Recovery Group, and, given the circumstances, hope they will continue to accept my call for help. I have NEVER SEEN or heard of a LAW FIRM so incompetent or ridiculous in my 41 years on this earth…read more My daughter almost 2years ago gets mauled by a pitbull really badly the situation was terrible, she was at a friend's house and their dog decided to start biting her after she pet him while laying on the couch. With 4 people in the house an 18 year old girl is being mauled and all anyone does is yell "OMG HES GOING TO KILL HER!!!" Not get water to throw on the dog, hit the dog attempt to stop what's happening. Smh NEEDLESS to say this terrible traumatic situation has my daughter petrified of any dog now. This dogs attack was terrible stitches to her leg (looks like a mini shark bite meat hangin) arm stitches aswell and puncture wounds to the hand. (Thank God nothing to her face, dog bit a total of 3xs) So after all this and the neglect from the owners really had me on edge and wanted to get my daughter compensated for her terrible situation. I contact TONA LAW, I get the whole "we will do EVERYTHING for you bring this to an end and get your daughter compensated!" They send paper work over through e mail to fill out I'm like this is for a car accident claim. "Just fill it out along as we get all the info we can move foward" OK. For over a year of calling which they only replied back 3xs the only thing we received that showed any professionalism was a packet that had magnets and other things with their lawfirm on it. My daughters case was passed around their office to what I know of atleast 4 different people and just find out yesterday after this time of waiting their response is, "we have to refer you to another office cause of insurance problem!" My questions are "FOR INSURANCE PROBLEMS??? IT TOOK JUST SHY OF 2YEARS FOR HER CASE TO BE PASSED AROUND LIKE A HOT POTATO THEN TO JUST SAY, HERES MORGAN AND MORGAN WHO ALSO SAID SORRY CANT HELP. WHY COULDNT THIS BE DONE IN A MORE TIMELY FASHION AND KEEP US IN THE LOOP ON THIS AS IT WENT ON? NOT JUST DONT CONTACT US WAIT TILL WE CALL AND JUST SAY "SEE YEAH" .
