What an amazing experience we had here. I took my daughter and 7 other friends to do an escape room and they were amazing with them. We had a reservation at 520 and we started a little late because she had was being pulled every which way by different rooms including rage room, ax room, and other escape rooms. She made sure to inform us on what she was doing and I was understanding that one person can only do so many jobs at once. Either way the experience was so great for the kids they were patient and helpful throughout the whole game and they ended up being able to finish and feel accomplished! Will definitely be coming back. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell a little short. We received mixed information about the room's difficulty the one who signed us up said it was one of the easiest, while another said it was one of the hardest when we were leaving. Since we were with younger children we wanted the easier room which did not happen. The room, lobby and overall appearance itself felt outdated compared to other escape rooms I've visited. The visuals could use a refresh, and some of the tools and mechanisms seemed like they need repair or replacement, which affected the experience. I really wanted to give a higher rating because the staff was kind, and I think this place has potential. With some updates, better maintenance, and more consistent guidance, I think it could be a much better experience. read more

Terrible experience. Half the puzzles wouldn't work and all they gave me was a 10% off coupon for future escape rooms. The lock was broken and they didn't have a way to open it for the next puzzle. I press a button and the game ended with fanfare. To be clear , I didn't get lucky and randomly press the right button. The whole experience was garbage. Our recent team building was here at Brainy Actz Escape Room and it was so fun. I was really bummed we didn't make it on the leader board. We solved our escape room in 51min! We were literally 5min shy of making it up there, so I definitely would like to beat that time in the future! Brainy Actz doesn't only do escape rooms, they have other cool stuff too!!! They have Axe throwing, Nerf gun war, they have a rage room and I'm sure they have other fun things to do too! I definitely look forward to coming back. Prices were reasonable and it was definitely worth the money. I didn't even know this place was in this area because it doesn't look like much from outside, but if you have never experienced an escape room then you need to try it. This was my 2nd time experiencing this and it was just as fun as the first time I have ever did it. We went to Brainy Actz for a date night a couple weeks ago on a Friday night. It was before dinner that we went, which was thankfully not a busy time for them at all. We had booked the Ax throwing experience. We arrived for our reservation and i believe i had already paid online, so all we had to do was sign our liability waivers. After that, the employee gave us a little demo and went over all the safety guidelines and rules for the throwing area. There were 3 different size axes. They also had throwing knives. The room is set up with wooden targets with dividers in each area creating separate lanes. The floor had mulch to help absorb the shock so there wasn't as much bounce back when the axes dropped from the target area. We were able to set up our own music because there was no other ax throwing groups at the time, which made the experience extra fun. We threw to our hearts content and ended up really loving this experience. I know Brainy Actz has a lot of other fun activities to offer, so we will definitely be back to try more based on this experience. I highly recommend giving this a try! It makes for a great date night, girls or guys night out, or even a team bonding experience. read more

I went with my son, eight year old grandson and adult daughter. We chose a murder/mystery one. The sets were nicely staged from the lobby to the escape rooms. The hosts are so helpful when you get stuck trying to figure out the clues. We all had so much fun finding clues and eventually solved the mystery. Woo hoo My grandson easily found some clues. Decided to try this on a girls night out. Needed to let off some steam and throwing axes sounded like a great idea. We went at a not busy time and we had the whole place to ourselves. We walked in, were greeted by a gentleman that was friendly and educated us on everything. We signed our waiver and we were off to the knife/ax throwing area. We were given a safety lesson on how to throw, where to stand and what to watch out for. Then we were turned loose!! I hit my target on my second throw!! YES!!! But after that, I had a lot of misses. We change axe size, stance, the way we held it and finally got the hang of it. My friend was hitting her target almost every time after she found her perfected way. Watch out for her!! In the bullseye every time!' We tried knife throwing. That was fun but hard. So we went back to axes. It was fun!! Our time slot was an hour and it flew by quick!! So fun!! We had a great time and will definitely come back. Great way to burn off some steam and have a great time!! read more

Played the nerf room with a huge group of 13 people. I definitely don't recommend playing it with a ton of people because there simply isn't enough space to carry out a fun enough game. Definitely pay attention to their instructions cause if you don't listen well those guns are going to jam. I think the Nerf experience is better catered to a group of children instead. I did like how they tried to implement switches that would alter the environment. However they weren't always working which was unfortunate. The staff though was very commendable. read more

The lady working the front was rude, she talked about joining in to jump our friend, threaten to shoot us if we shot the bows to hard and yelled at me while I was putting my keys and phone down while she was explaining to not hide behind the inflatable, I get it, your trying to be funny but it's a place of business and she was a completely random stranger, not okay to make those types of jokes to people you don't even know yet overall it was a fun experience think we just got unlucky with the person working behind the counter read more

My boyfriend and I took his son to do a rage room.. we got the hour package and added the tv, larger appliances.. we get there and they tried to bring us to a room with just tires.. why so the bat can bounce off.. and that isn't what we paid for. This is in no way against the people who work there but the owners and management who put their workers in awkward positions they shouldn't have to be in. If things are not available.: do not have them charging us $100 extra fee on the site.. thinking we will be ok with hitting tires. So then the girls offered the axe room.. that had extremely dull axe. I have been to places with axe throwing and this was sad... over all terrible experience.. minus the nice workers who tried thier best. read more

For starters I'll say we drove two hours to get here and the best thing about the place is the workers. They're super friendly and gave me a rose at the end of our visit (valentines thing) lol. They made sure we were thoroughly informed about everything and ensured that we felt welcomed. One thing I will say is that one of the guys was somewhat unprofessional, making a few genuinely ignorant statements and over sharing. The room itself wasn't the best... my man decided to do neon paint and it was basically just splattering the glow/neon paint on a wall and a canvas. Not very fun. If I didn't enjoy his company I would've wanted to leave immediately lol. The rooms themselves are also small and I don't think I would've been all that satisfied with a rage room either (even though I like them) because they don't give you new stuff to smash. Overall it wasn't a bad mini trip but I think there's definitely better elsewhere. read more

We needed a nice cool fun team bonding place! When we got there the staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. There was 16 cheerleaders and 3 adults, we had a blast. Glass in entry way! Very dangerous and a huge rip off! Dishonest, and won't make things right. Made us do our party in main lobby instead of party room. Tacky and unpleasant. I booked 1 hour for nerf gun room and 1 hour for party room. We invited friends and family to celebrate this event. We were told to arrive at 2:30 to sign waivers and we could play at 2:45-3:45 and then get the party room from 3:45-4:45. We arrived and waited and waited as they were "behind". We had to wait over 45 minutes after our booking time. Our nerf gun party didn't start until 3:19 and ended at 3:55. We did not get our full hour. I might add while waiting we had to watch our children who were running around a small area by people throwing axes! which about gave me a heart attack. Thank god one didn't slip out of someone's hand when throwing as there was no other place for the kids to go. When it came time to start the party we were told they actually double booked our event and had to have us celebrate in the main lobby!! with other customers as they came in and out. It was crowded and very uncomfortable and definitely unsafe with how crowded everything was. I complained and wanted a refund as they did not abide by our original agreement. They told me since I received a "discount" on my package they would not be refunding me. I was not aware that I had received a discount. But even if I had why am I be treated this way. Why do I not get the time we agreed upon? Why do I not get a party room? It is a form of discrimination not to mention all of the osha violations I witnessed as well. read more

I really really want to like Brainy Actz but I'm struggling. To make a long story short when they first opened up my group booked all 3 of their escape rooms for the same day, we were notified the day before that Smuggler was not ready yet and they needed some more time to finish it but they would just keep our booking in the system and we could come do it when it was ready. This was in October and the room didn't finally get completed and open until January...yikes. The staff is friendly and they try to be helpful don't get me wrong I like the staff but disorganization just runs rampant. Our booking was for 6:20pm and we were a little tight ourselves we showed up right around 6:18 cutting it close. We all signed the waiver and got ready to go, but somehow the room wasn't ready yet and a member of the staff had to go reset it, we waited maybe 15 minutes before we were ready to rock. The room itself isn't bad there are a few things I dislike or felt were unfair/poorly done but in an effort to not spoil the room for other people I won't list them here but I'd be happy to discuss them with a staff member anytime. What I can talk about is the communication, the walkie-talkie method of communication in the rooms is awful. I don't know how many times during our room we had to repeatedly call over the radio before we got a response, we only needed 3 clues but our captain must have called out asking for the clue probably 5+ times for each clue and we just got radio silence, I don't know if they have issues with the system not working or they are not monitoring all the time but something needs to change. Also we were told they didn't have a leader board for Smuggler but were going to start one and if we completed the room with 3 clues or less we'd make the board. We used exactly 3 clues and asked the staff member after the room what our time was, she looked at her cell and asked me what time we started...how would I know? There is no clock in the room, they obviously don't even know what time we started so she told me her best guess on our time....guess that meant no leader board as she didn't seem to know anything about it. I just wish the staff here were all on the same page because one girl started us in the room and answered our first call and a different girl let us out and talked to us, they didn't communicate what was going on between each other I guess and that lead to the time issues and maybe the clue issues, it was frustrating. I really hope they get a little more organized in the future because I want to come back when they add new escape rooms and I really really want to like this place. read more

Such a fun spin on date night! This place has so much to do. Great way to spend a night out with your significant other or a group of friends! My husband and I threw some axes of different sizes and knives. I was nervous at first but quickly found my inner badass. We also went back to our childhood playing with nerf guns and classic video games! Next time I'm coming back for the bow and arrows! The facility also offers a rage room where you can break stuff and bang away on objects using sledgehammers, golf clubs, bats, etc. But I think our next date night will be in the paint room! HORRIBLE customer service. I made a reservation for two, my family member was unable to join for that time, so I called and emailed to ensure our reservation was cancelled. Received a text later that afternoon reminding me of the reservation I had already canceled. I explained via text I had called/emailed to cancel and asked about the refund, was then texted back saying the refund generally takes 2-3 business days. Never received it. Called a week later and spoke with a guy over the phone that was extremely rude, told me there was no one I could speak to about a refund. Completely contradicted the text I received previously. Safe to say ensure all of the employees are on the same page, so customers aren't waiting for a refund they'll never receive. read more

This was a top-notch quality fun experience! Colby helped us out with the pirate themed escape room. And chatted with us afterward and answered our questions (no spoilers tho).
