What an amazing experience we had here. I took my daughter and 7 other friends to do an escape room and they were amazing with them. We had a reservation at 520 and we started a little late because she had was being pulled every which way by different rooms including rage room, ax room, and other escape rooms. She made sure to inform us on what she was doing and I was understanding that one person can only do so many jobs at once. Either way the experience was so great for the kids they were patient and helpful throughout the whole game and they ended up being able to finish and feel accomplished! Will definitely be coming back. Unfortunately I I didn't ask for the names of the lady and gent that helped me but I was here on 10/04 at 520 so whoever worked that shift thank you so much!!

We went to Brainy Actz for a date night a couple weeks ago on a Friday night. It was before dinner that we went, which was thankfully not a busy time for them at all. We had booked the Ax throwing experience. We arrived for our reservation and i believe i had already paid online, so all we had to do was sign our liability waivers. After that, the employee gave us a little demo and went over all the safety guidelines and rules for the throwing area. There were 3 different size axes. They also had throwing knives. The room is set up with wooden targets with dividers in each area creating separate lanes. The floor had mulch to help absorb the shock so there wasn't as much bounce back when the axes dropped from the target area. We were able to set up our own music because there was no other ax throwing groups at the time, which made the experience extra fun. We threw to our hearts content and ended up really loving this experience. I know Brainy Actz has a lot of other fun activities to offer, so we will definitely be back to try more based on this experience. I highly recommend giving this a try! It makes for a great date night, girls or guys night out, or even a team bonding experience.

Must be a clue in the box. Now if only we can find the key to it

I went with my son, eight year old grandson and adult daughter. We chose a murder/mystery one. The sets were nicely staged from the lobby to the escape rooms. The hosts are so helpful when you get stuck trying to figure out the clues. We all had so much fun finding clues and eventually solved the mystery. Woo hoo My grandson easily found some clues. A great experience overall. Will definitely go here again.

Really enjoyed ourselves this evening. We had never done axe throwing prior to this evening. It was educational and challenging altogether. We were given clear instruction on how to do it and I think it was a great experience. I think this would be a fun activity to do again and I encourage anyone to give this place a try.

Whaaaat?!?!?! Rage room

First of all... customer service is AMAZING!!!!! FROM booking our event to walking in and then the actual escape room... they are on their customer service. The guys (Zach & other guy) out front were super friendly and the guy on the phone, Kevin, was so kind in helping me book our impromptu activity. After dealing with over 100° degree weather, it's nice to come to an establishment with kind customer service. I appreciate you guys and thank you for accommodating us

Played the nerf room with a huge group of 13 people. I definitely don't recommend playing it with a ton of people because there simply isn't enough space to carry out a fun enough game. Definitely pay attention to their instructions cause if you don't listen well those guns are going to jam. I think the Nerf experience is better catered to a group of children instead. I did like how they tried to implement switches that would alter the environment. However they weren't always working which was unfortunate. The staff though was very commendable.

Love the vibe.

Fun night with friends! We did the axe throwing (found it way more difficult than expected), nerf war, and bowlballing! Super friendly staff and had a great experience.

The hours are confusing, and its hard to get ahold of someone to answer your questions.

We bought an escape room but Dustin was generous enough to let us try out some of the other activities he offers.

What a fun experience! Our dept went here for our latest team building activity. Our dinner menu…read morewas centered around grapes from Cattani Family Farms. Our instructor was pretty awesome and made everyone feel at ease. We went over some basic knife cutting skills, making a grape and red wine reduction sauce, and searing proteins on the pan. While you don't necessarily cook the all the dishes in its entirety, you feel good about the finished product because the food was tasty. We were served four courses based on a seasonal menu. People can make reservations online for a sit down dinner. Whether you're a novice or a pro in the kitchen, this is a fun activity with friends or family.

What didn't go well?!??…read more Y'all, it was so freakin fantastic. We did the 6:00 seating and arrived at 5:50. They let us in (we were first) and sat us. You have potential at some point to share a table with others, especially if you are a 2 or 3 top party. Got waters right away. The menu (which we knew in advance during purchase) was our place setting. Food started coming out and was timed perfectly throughout the courses... took about an hour total for two of us - we did not do wine, although it looked amazing and I'm sure would pair perfectly with this food (both currently sober). I didn't get a picture of the first dish because I just wanted to enjoy everything but I loved it so much, I knew I would be doing a review. The first course had two types of mozzarella, prosciutto, pickled nectarine and a honey drizzle. Soooooooooo good. Probably our fav if we are totally honest. Second course was a salad with a grilled apricot, candied walnuts, and an oil based dressing. The peach really gave the flavor and made it a juicier like dressing. Make perfect bites with all ingredients. We both chose the duck which came on a bed of quinoa that I think had tarragon in it??? And a glaze with peaches. Again, ate a little of each with each bite and Suuuh good. I made the chef's kiss motion twice. Finally, for dessert a peach Melba.... Which is a peach that was torched to make a sugar crust, serve on vanilla bean ice cream with I think a strawberry type purée sauce with crumbs in it. *droooool** The ambiance was also wonderful. Perfectly lit, and the music was subtle and relaxing. I cannot say enough, how much we loved this!

Lightning in a Bottle is like a 4 Michelin Star restaurant…read more It's probably on par with French Laundry and Alinea if they had a baby, but the restaurant only served House and Bass music, which we know the latter is an acquired taste (for me at least). I think the most important part of my year, is arguing about the Lake water. I tend to make sure it's brought up around the dinner table during Thanksgiving and Christmas, if I feel like we aren't debating the lake Buena Vista water quality enough, the lake water is always top of mind in my house hence why I married an ecologist. Also, I really enjoy totems. So much so, I've made an LED Parasol totem that gives off random light commands since I never took the time to learn how to truly code while working in Trad. Fi. All in, I rate Lightning in a Bottle 13/5. Lucky 13 for the amount of times me and my friends had to troubleshoot my RV or Trailer rental, and that has allowed me to successfully escape the dust and eventually drive home on the 5 (what up Moo Moos on the road, respect). My favorite stage remains Woogie, that's why I named my dog(s) Woo and Gie, with their powers combined they arf arf arf into the night as one dog, in unison like the biggest baddest dog named Al Capone. Last, it's imperative that we all spend ample time in a Porto by the end of the trip, for it was Seneca that said setting aside a few days to wear rough clothing, eat meager food, and ask oneself: "Is this the condition that I feared?"

Not like other music festivals where people are over the top and on their phones the whole time. I made so many friends and will definitely be returning next year! However, they need to do something about the holes in the ground. I tripped a few times and saw a girl break her ankle. Also the camping situation can be a little rough so prepare for that!
