    Tire

I had my tires aligned here. Less than 10,000 miles later, this was the state of my tires. It was so bad that, after purchasing new tires, Discount Tire recommended that I go to my dealer for an alignment. My dealer had to adjust the front support as well. They cost me a full set of tires and work at the car dealer.

Simple oil change turned into a nightmare all over my garage floor and driveway. They installed a leaking oil filter. Took my truck to my mechanic to insp and fix. Manager blew me off and district mgr Juan refused to respond. Beware!

John was great. Very helpful. Didn't take very long to change my tire. Without an appointment.

Service person provided completely false information about the vehicle and it's condition to a potential vehicle buyer.

Christian Brothers Automotive - Professional, Honest, and Reliable…read more I recently took my 2014 Audi S4 to Christian Brothers Automotive in New Braunfels for routine maintenance, and my experience reaffirmed why they are my go-to shop. Over time, I've learned that you can tell a lot about a repair shop not just by how they perform regular service, but by how they handle unexpected issues. Services Performed: During this visit, I had the following work done: BG Brake System Service - A full brake fluid exchange using BG DOT 4 Ultra-Dry Premium Brake Fluid, following the correct OEM procedure. They also inspected my entire brake system for leaks and worn components to ensure everything was in top shape. Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil Change (0W-40)- A complete oil change using Mobil 1 full synthetic oil, along with a new OEM oil filter. They also allowed me to provide my own engine flush bottle, which I greatly appreciated, car has 213k original miles. Courtesy Inspection - A thorough multi-point check to identify any potential issues. Additional Oil (Above 5 Quarts) - Since my Audi requires more than 5 quarts, they added the correct additional amount to ensure proper lubrication. Engine Bay Cleaning & Fluids Top-Off- More on this below, but after addressing a minor issue, they went the extra mile to clean my engine bay and top off my fluids. A Minor Issue & How They Handled It: A few days after my visit, I noticed an oil leak, which turned out to be from a slightly loose oil filter housing. These things happen, but how a shop corrects a mistake says everything about their integrity and professionalism. I returned and spoke politely with the manager, explaining my concern. Without hesitation, they: - Inspected my vehicle immediately - Confirmed and fixed the issue on the spot - Cleaned my engine bay to remove any leaked oil residue - Topped off all my fluids at no charge Their commitment to making things right without excuses or delays is why I will continue to trust them with my vehicles. Why I Choose Christian Brothers Over the Dealership: I used to take my cars to the dealership, but since switching to Christian Brothers, I've realized several key advantages: Better Pricing- Every time I compare, Christian Brothers quotes me significantly less than the dealership for the same services. OEM Parts Used - They have consistently used Audi-spec OEM parts, ensuring my car is maintained to factory standards. Excellent Customer Service - The service advisors, including Brandon Ochs, are always transparent and professional. They take the time to explain recommendations without upselling unnecessary repairs. Honest & Fair Recommendations - While they pointed out additional recommended services (like valve cover gaskets, suspension components, and spark plugs), they didn't pressure me to approve them immediately. I appreciate a shop that gives honest advice while allowing me to prioritize repairs on my own terms. Proven Reliability - This isn't my first visit. I now bring both of my Audis here for all maintenance and repairs. They've earned my trust through consistent, high-quality work. Final Thoughts - A Shop That Stands Behind Its Work As a manager myself, I regularly handle complaints and concerns in my line of work. No business is perfect, but what truly matters is how they address issues when they arise. Christian Brothers handled my concern with professionalism, urgency, and accountability. That level of service is why I no longer go to the dealer and will continue to rely on them for my automotive needs. If you're looking for a trusted, honest, and skilled repair shop in New Braunfels, Christian Brothers Automotive is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

I had my brakes replaced elsewhere on 2/21/26. The mechanic showed me my old brakes and the new brakes. The old brakes looked barely worn. The brakes that I replaced measured at 15.875mm. So either CBA lied about inspecting my brakes at all, and just recommended being replaced due to mileage; or they tried to take advantage of me because I'm a woman.

Typical I left a negative review of Greg's work on my 57 chevy and he deleted it so here I go again…read morethis place was for convenience plus I have seen a few classic cars there as I drove by a few times and spoke with him about his love and ownership of classics he has personally (which he probably owns from scamming the customers like me) I took my bel air to him and the new parts for everything to be installed said a quote of $1999.00 and a week which unfortunately turned into nearly $3000 and 14 days since they are only open M-THURS which is very bizarre in itself after the second day he called and said my new suspension parts don't fit called the company where purchased got greg on the phone turns out they were doing it wrong (should have gotten the hell out of there then) figured simple mistake then I get a call that my rear disc brakes are wrong got then on another call turns out greg was wrong again then they wanted to drop the engine to run brake lines way off base again to the point of being called down right crazy!!!! Got it back engine making strange noises not going to drive it till a real professional takes a look at it next month in San Antonio men that live breathe and own TRI- FIVE cars. Greg's automotive is the worst shop I've ever dealt with and if you think his office is cluttered you should see the garage I should have looked at that before I let some fool work on my classic car. Review: Absolutely Unprofessional, Dishonest, and Rude. Avoid at All Costs…read more I had to bring my vehicle to this shop because my warranty required me to leave my preferred, trustworthy mechanic. From the start, the experience here was frustrating and unprofessional. After diagnosing the issue, they called to tell me what was and wasn't covered by my warranty. I chose to fix only what would be covered. But without calling me back for approval, they went ahead and performed a repair they later claimed was only partially covered, forcing me to pay the difference out of pocket. That alone is shady and unacceptable. I also paid for a diagnostic, yet the exact same dashboard warning lights I came in with were still there when I picked up the car. Their explanation? That both my main and auxiliary batteries were dead and it would cost nearly $1,000 to fix. Interesting, considering my previous mechanic had just tested them and found them to be completely fine. When I came to pick up my car, it wouldn't start, which I assumed validated their battery claim. I was wrong. Instead of helping me or offering a timely solution, they had me sitting there like an afterthought, clearly uninterested in helping since I'd declined their overpriced battery replacement. I finally got a jump and took it home, only to have AAA test both batteries and confirm they were perfectly fine. Then I noticed a part missing, the air intake for the A/C that sits over the battery compartment. I called to speak with the manager, Cody, who acted completely clueless. Then, after giving a vague suggestion to bring it back in, he hung up on me. Completely rude and uncalled for. Still trying to get my car functioning, I brought it to O'Reilly. They again confirmed both batteries were good. I mentioned a "low key fob battery" warning I had noticed, and the associate suggested that might be the issue. I replaced it for $12.99 and guess what? Problem solved. My car starts just fine. Let me be very clear. The warning lights I originally brought the car in for are still on, and I now have to take it somewhere else to get them properly diagnosed and repaired. I spent nearly $500 here for a "fix" that didn't fix anything, a misdiagnosis, and to top it off, an arrogant manager and careless technicians. I have no mechanical background, yet I figured out more about my car's issue than this so-called professional shop. It's either incompetence or a blatant attempt to take advantage of me, or both. I will never return here, and I strongly recommend others stay far away. This business lacks professionalism, integrity, and basic customer service. Don't make the same mistake I did.
