My car engine (Kia K4 2025) which is under warranty was overheating on the way home from Arley Alabama, so we had it towed to the closest Kia and took a Uber back to Franklin Tennessee, (approximately $300). There was no word on my car for over a week and when i called to ask for a rental they said it has to be looked at first. Why hasn't the car been looked at in over a week?! Now, about three weeks after it was towed, they finally called at about 9:00 AM today and said "you can come get it, it just needed a simple radiator fan replacement." I took the two hour drive down here expecting my car to be ready, now being 3:00 PM, and they say it's not going to be ready today. You're kidding. I never got a rental, we were never updated on the car, got more than one excuse, not reimbursed for the uber, and drove two hours down here just to wait for another two because they haven't even started on it. what ARE you doing Kia Bramlett? read more

Think twice before you buy a car here. The service department operates on a first come, first served basis. They refuse to take appointments even though their website says that they do. The two times I called they have told me they have waits of 1 1/2 and 4 hours. So just plan to spend a half day there even if you are going in for an oil change. Of course, if you don't live in Decatur, take into account that the wait time may be considerably worse by the time you take to drive there. One thing is obvious, neither the service department nor the salesman care if you will ever be back. read more

We bought a vehicle from this dealership in March. The salesman Jamie was fantastic and a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately, the vehicle is now dead as of the end of September after only having it for 8500 miles and 6 months. When it died, I checked the dipstick and there was oil in it. They claim it was empty when it arrived. The oil was changed the day before we bought it and the service department claims you're supposed to allow for up to a quart of oil loss per 1000 miles or something ridiculous like that. Now we're on the hook for a new engine for over $5000. I might have still given 2 stars for the excellent service while buying the car, but not after the continued experience with the service department. After telling them to go ahead and do it, and the representative telling me that he would go ahead and order the engine and it would be ready the following week, I'm now being told that the thing has to be paid for up front and the engine is no longer available. Payment wouldn't have been a problem if the guy had just said something. We don't have the cash so of course it's going on a credit card, doesn't matter if it's charged one week or the next. They say they called but I don't have any voicemails. They found another engine with twice as many miles as the first and magically it's the same price. And to top it all off, they always sound like we're inconveniencing them when we talk to them. No empathy or anything. Easily my worst experience ever when buying a car. read more

I do not recommend doing business with this dealership at this point in time. The general manager is desrespectful, and the service manager has no clue what he is doing as he hangs up on customers, and does not return phone calls. We were first told it would be 6 to 8 weeks getting to it because of lack of good help. Your labor issues are not the customer's problem. I was also lied to at first, then put into a junker for a loaner that I cannot use for work. Which is what the truck was purchased for. So now I'm paying on a 60k truck I cannot drive while we scratch our head on what to do.The owner of these dealerships should be ashamed of how these guys are doing business. read more

Had appointment to see a car I was planning to buy. Salesperson called to confirm appointment at noon told her we were leaving and it would take us approx. 2 hours to get there. We arrived at 2:00 they didn't have the car i had made appointment to see. The manager said 1st come first served I said we had an appointment what is the purpose if it means nothing (they new I was coming approx 2 hour drive one way) I then asked him if he had the car at noon and he replied are you calling me a liar, which i replied no I asked you a question. The manager let me know that my trip or appointment didn't matter and told me to have a blessed day. Then the sales women called me on my way home and said she didn't know car was gone but she could try and locate one. My reply was as rude as the manager was and how she called and confirmed without knowing if the car was still there, and now she is still trying to make a sale was wrong too. Worst experience ever! My husband and I went to Kia just to look and we were approached by a car salesmen by the name of Derek who was very nice. We let him know we were still working on our credit but just wanted to take a look at the Kia Soul and he offered to let us test drive one. We totally loved it but knew we weren't going to be buying because my husband had some debts he was trying to take care of before we took on any extra expenses. Derek told us he could take care of my husbands bills no problem if we were able to purchase the vehicle that day no money down and his manager would write us a check to take care of the bills so we wouldn't have anything to worry about. Sounded too good to be true! and of course it was... He said he would just need to run our credit once to see what our credit scores were and then we were good to go. We expressed how very important it was to us to only run once and not to multiple lenders we are a young married couple working on building our credit. The salesmen then reassured us he would only run it once. My husband had to get to work so he said we could come by tomorrow finish all the paperwork. Later that evening I got a call from the salesman who then said it wasn't going to work out unless I traded my car in and I wasn't interested. A few weeks go by and we found out after receiving over 8 letters from lenders that he had run our credit more than once. I called the manager very upset and felt lied to and mistreated after then seeing both of our credit scores drop more than 20 points. The manager didn't accept any blame for his employee and when I told him I thought they really took advantage of us he hung up on me. I will never go back to Bramlett dealership again and I will tell all of my family and friends to be aware.. I should have known better everyone warns you about dealerships and the sales people saying or doing anything to make that sale! These guys stand around joking and laughing I'm sure they enjoy ripping people off I don't know how anyone could live with themselves knowing they get up and go to work ruining peoples lives - now we don't qualify for a home or a car because our credit score.
